Well, developers do want to touch a lot of customers. We have to make our platform very popular in order for them to do that. If we make their jobs easier, then they'll be more likely to stay on the Windows platform.

It may be that other developers are finding that their games play better on one platform over the other, so they're choosing to migrate to that platform.
Yes, I definitely believe that it has some good cross-platform properties. Object orientation was one of the techniques I used to make Python platform independent.

Platform 33

~
I sit waiting on the platform
Watching lives and souls rattle by
From and to the unknown
So many stories being written
I have forgotten why I wait
Am I due to catch my train
Or greet my love from another
Sat world watching
Noticing moments in others lives
The smiles and laughter
The tears and pain
I am not sure if I am effected
Or just taking notes
Making my own stories
While I wait on the platform
A wind whistles through
A slight chill to the air
I stay sat, watching, waiting
Trying to remember
How I got here

A platform is something a candidate stands for and the voters fall for. … I’m having my platform run up by a movie set designer, so it will be very impressive from the front, but not too permanent. After all, there’s no sense putting a lot of time and thought into something you’ll have no use for after you’re elected.

The platform we had in Dallas, the 1984 Republican platform, all the ideas we supported there - from tax policy, to foreign policy; from individual rights, to neighborhood security - are things that Jefferson Davis and his people believed in.

Concrete Women

Is demolishing one old home today
That was sold to developers
In order to make room for a new condo development
That will be built by the developers
What ashame because the home was a very old one
And I will never see another home like that again
I don't know why they didn't declare that old home a historical home

She Left On A Monday
She left on a Monday
She's a siren down the road
In your herringbone overcoat
That you don't expect to get back
And it's an ordinary sky
Today's like any other day
When all of the aeroplanes
Write her name in the clouds
And nothing's wrong
But it's already Sunday
And you know just how Sunday
Was the day that she would come around?
Go to her foolish man
What's the use of having pride if you don't have her?
She'll endure all she can
But you could make this easier on her
It's all like sinking
You're trying to stay afloat
Like a wind blown paper boat
Over uncharted sea
There's no question why
You're driving to kill some time
Racing the power lines
Back into town
Go to her foolish man
What's the use of having pride if you don't have her?
She'll endure all she can
But you could make this easier on her
Go to her foolish man
What's the use of having pride if you don't have her?
She'll endure all she can
But you could make this easier on her
Make this easier on her
Make this easier on her
Make this easier on her

Edging My Way Up To Success
there is no instant success
you are not born successful
i am proud to say
i edge myself slowly
towards the platform
of success
the road was rough
the weather was not good
i did not have a carriage
and a horse
to make thing easier
for me
i was like a snail not
hoping for that gift of
speed from a rabbit
i learned from the
turtle somehow
reached the finishing line
much to their
surprise
i am a hardheaded man
who does not believe
in failures anymore.

I like the rain
when I met you
it was a heavy rain
approached there my train
was a beautiful summer
on the platform the drummer
drummed and a sun
came out a fun
of hot rays began.
I didn't get
onto a train,
stopped me eyes
it was a day really
exceptionally nice .
and our fun
lasts as soon,
as is lighting the sun.
I am going to the platform
and I am waiting
perhaps a weather
will change
and a rain
will start
being
falling down...

Platform Plunge
We watched each rung he took to climb,
And he chose the smaller one...
From which to take his dive!
And he won with a look of surprise!
He took that winning with a sight,
To acheive a dive from the next platform height!
He had more confidence...
Showing in his eyes that were wide and bright!
To the top he wanted to go to jump!
He wanted to be sure he was seen by everyone!
Even his family wasn't sure of this one.
And he spiraled from the top to shock and stun...
Those watching him and the platform becoming undone!

The train now standing at platform 2
The train now standing at platform 2 is empty now,
its windows still fogged by smut and smog
that lapped the sides for the time of its reign.
Its seats depressed by ghostly bottoms of long ago,
that sat, expectantly on their way through.
They're essence fills the very air we breathe.
Now the train holds no one, no laughter, no chatter.
It just sits on a mocked up platform at York Museum
to amuse tourists, those eager, bright eyed, faces.
It holds tightly to memories, its past, those well kept secrets,
somehow wanting, so much, to tell all it has seen.
Its driver, with blackened fingers and grubby face
no longer steers its mighty coaches along a well used track,
but his presence is sensed by all that walk _
through the 10.15……
stopping at quaint villages
seaside towns, lovers trysts,
new homes and all stations to destiny.
