Be Hopeful
Hopeful
Be hopeful
Want to be successful
Saw good seeds
For we are cursed and blessed
By our own deeds
Being hopeful is to over come
And encouragement
Becomes our strength
For what we could become here
Unless we over come our fear
The wind blowing
Here and there
Life becomes so unfair
All you need to do
Is to be hopeful
Hopeful
Be hopeful

Confession
I summoned my courage
To help me manage
Whatever the reply is,
Coz' I don't want to cry about this
I asked you one question
But you gave me a suggestion
I don't know if it means yes or a no
But can you tell me already so I'll know
I allowed myself to be hopeful
Each day is so blissful
Every day I am very cheerful
I always think I am so fateful
But after a few days
I saw you with someone else
All the days that I spent being hopeful
Now my heart is so painful
Now I understand
Your suggestion was to protect me
How foolish of me to misunderstood.
Childhood itself is scarcely more lovely than a cheerful, kindly, sunshiny old age.

Kindly Keep It Country
If youre gonna play the jukebox
Would you kindly keep it country
cause Im feelin so lonely tonight
Oh please play a sad song about a heart thats just been stepped on
Would you kindly keep it country for me tonight
Id get up off this bar stool if youd play something we could dance to
Oh, a song about a love thats gone astray
Oh I love to hear em sing about the misery and pain
Would you kindly keep it country for me tonight
Oh please play a sad song about a heart thats just been stepped on
Would you kindly keep it country for me tonight
Would you kindly keep it country for me tonight

Untill The End
Perhaps I hide it well, or maybe to my heart you're blind, but if you look very close, you're sure to find... that I love you with heart and soul and body and mind. I spend my time thinking about you; sometimes I'm elated and hopeful, and sometimes I'm down and blue, waiting for these sweet dreams of us to come true. There's a picture in my mind, the way I wish it could be, and I believe happiness is possible for you and me. You don't have to look very hard- it's not so difficult to see, that we're as perfect together as shore and sea. The ribbons around my heart, are the ties that bind; I'm a slave to the oldest type of bondage known to mankind. And I'll always be right here waiting for you, my heart ever hopeful that these dreams will come true, but whether or not they do until the end of time,

As a person, I'm not that hopeful, but somehow the hopeful part of me reveals itself through my songs.

I've seen what men can do for each other and do to each other. I've seen war and peace, feast and famine, depression and prosperity, sickness and health. I've seen the depths of suffering and the peaks of triumph. And I know in my heart that man is good, that what is right will always eventually triumph, and that there is purpose and worth to each and every life.

A Life Left Unexplored
It is with a hopeful heart, that is at once, diminished,
That I reach out to you, to redress a path, left unfinished.
Life took us in disparate directions, and we lost our way,
Yet, God gave us another chance, and come what may,
We must use it, rather than take it for granted.
Despite the years, this love has never been supplanted,
Nor even lessened, in any way that we may see.
At long last, our long-deferred, yet powerful love, may be
All that it was supposed to be, before we abandoned it-
Free to bloom evermore, as God commanded it!
We are no longer fool-hearty, as we were in our youth-
The years have taught us naught, if only the power of this truth:
We may only ever bury our heart's ardor for so long,
Before we must concede that the very nature is wrong.
The only recourse that we have in this regard,
Is to cede to love's power, and triumph in its guard!
So much of our lives is left to be explored;
Why not then, with one another-as my heart has implored!

Ave Caesar
No bitterness: our ancestors did it.
They were only ignorant and hopeful, they wanted freedom but wealth too.
Their children will learn to hope for a Caesar.
Or rather--for we are not aquiline Romans but soft mixed colonists--
Some kindly Sicilian tyrant who'll keep
Poverty and Carthage off until the Romans arrive,
We are easy to manage, a gregarious people,
Full of sentiment, clever at mechanics, and we love our luxuries.

Jacky
A cheerful heart is a sound medicine to your soul,
But a downcasted spirit dries up the bones of your body!
So Jacky, have no anxiety of anything.
Be very wise! For, a tranquil mind gives life to the flesh;
And i am here to love you for what you are.
The ardent of life is of spiritual joy and,
I am painting the walls of love with you in my mind;
So try to listen to my muse,
For it with emotions and passions.
You are the ingredient of my love and i want you around me,
But enter into the world so sweet with a cheerful heart;
For the soul of man should be guided with love.

Unspoken Words
THE kindly words that rise within the heart,
And thrill it with their sympathetic tone,
But die ere spoken, fail to play their part,
And claim a merit that is not their own.
The kindly word unspoken is a sin,—
A sin that wraps itself in purest guise,
And tells the heart that, doubting, looks within,
That not in speech, but thought, the virtue lies.
But 'tis not so: another heart may thirst
For that kind word, as Hagar in the wild—
Poor banished Hagar!—prayed a well might burst
From out the sand to save her parching child.
And loving eyes that cannot see the mind
Will watch the expected movement of the lip:
Ah! can ye let its cutting silence wind
Around that heart, and scathe it like a whip?
Unspoken words, like treasures in the mine,
Are valueless until we give them birth:
Like unfound gold their hidden beauties shine,
Which God has made to bless and gild the earth.
How sad 'twould be to see a master's hand
Strike glorious notes upon a voiceless lute!
But oh! what pain when, at God's own command,
A heart-string thrills with kindness, but is mute!
Then hide it not, the music of the soul.
Dear sympathy, expressed with kindly voice,
But let it like a shining river roll
To deserts dry,—to hearts that would rejoice.
Oh! let the symphony of kindly words
Sound for the poor, the friendless, and the weak;
And he will bless you,—he who struck these chords
Will strike another when in turn you seek.

Hang On
Let the tempest and the flood
Shake your soul and spill your blood
Like an old song
Keep hold'n on
Let the people laugh at you
Call you names and say you're through
Never let go
Keep hangin' on
Hang on, hang on
Can you hear me,
I'm gonna say it again
Hang on, hang on
Never giving up, no, never giving in
Hang on every hopeful word
Even when it seems absurd
Keep holdin' on
If you triumph when you fail
Keep your head when you prevail
Be a hero
Keep hangin' around
Hang on, hang on
Are you listening,
Let me say it again
Hang on, hang on
Never giving up, no,
Never giving in

Dost Thou Not Care?
I love and love not: Lord, it breaks my heart
To love and not to love.
Thou veiled within Thy glory, gone apart
Into Thy shrine, which is above,
Dost Thou not love me, Lord, or care
For this mine ill?—
I love thee here or there,
I will accept thy broken heart, lie still.
Lord, it was well with me in time gone by
That cometh not again,
When I was fresh and cheerful, who but I?
I fresh, I cheerful: worn with pain
Now, out of sight and out of heart;
O Lord, how long?—
I watch thee as thou art,
I will accept thy fainting heart, be strong.
'Lie still,' 'be strong,' to-day; but, Lord, to-morrow,
What of to-morrow, Lord?
Shall there be rest from toil, be truce from sorrow,
Be living green upon the sward
Now but a barren grave to me,
Be joy for sorrow?—
Did I not die for thee?
Did I not live for thee? Leave Me to-morrow.
