The country experience was more of a departure. When you consider my education and my upbringing, you can see that was more of country rock outgrowth of my popular music aspirations.

Put Some Drive In Your Country
Well I was raised on country classics
Like Roy Acuff and George Jones
Lord I loved to hear 'em
Sing all them old time country songs
But I really got excited 'bout the time I turned 15
That's the first time I heard Waylon and old Bocephus sing
They put some drive in their country that really turned me on
Yeah, put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you movin'
You know that can't be wrong
Every time I hear that outlaw stuff on my car radio
It makes me wanna drive it just as fast as it will go
Put some drive in your country
Let's keep country drivin' on
We played some shows in Atlanta on Sunday afternoons
The gigs were packed and I was nervous
Cause I wanted folks to like my tunes
The crowds were full of younger people
They were all about my age
So I turned and told the band just before we walked on stage
Put some drive in your country fellas
We turned those people on
Yeah, put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you dancin'
You know that can't be wrong
See I made myself a promise when I was just a kid
I'd mix southern rock and country and that's just what I did
Put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
Put some drive in your country
Hey, let's keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you movin'
You know that can't be wrong
I still love old country
I ain't tryin' to put it down
Damn I miss Duanne Allman
I wish he was still around
Put some drive in the country
Keep country drivin' on
Put some drive in the country
Let's keep country drivin' on

Encore!
Rock music is nothing like country, jazz, pop, reggae, and classical.
Rock music is something that is like a band in your head
Rock music is nothing like every other kind of music.
That now has gotten an encore.
Rock Music is something that real people can only hear;
Rock music does not allow posers to hear the real sound.
Rock music may have head bangers, stoners,
Even one of those old guys with the sharpie-d walking canes in the corner.
But Rock music allows only real followers.
Rock music is much like age;
Even though many bands may be getting paid in age, they will still be remembered.
As real Rock Musicians.
Some musicians have not made the best choices,
But does that mean they do not get their fame?
No, even though it may have not been the right way; they will always have
Their Rock band,
Having an encore in their musically fusion heads.

I got to where I couldn't listen to country radio. Country music is supposed to have steel and fiddle. When I hear country music, it should be country.

But the wise and fool live together on this earth.

Inang Bayan (english 'Mother Country')
Oh, mother country
it's no longer
a short time
since you become
a free nation.
Oh, mother country
truly, you are free
but why
did you let yourself
be imprisoned
by poverty?
Was it your choice?
Oh, mother country
when will you be able
to take good care
of your abandoned children
who wish
for three times a day meal,
for shelter,
and for affordable medication
and education.
Oh, mother country,
Oh, mother country.

God looked down on this country because this country was founded on the rock and that rock was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And when the storms came and the rains came, the rock, it did not move. But over the last 15 or 20 years, something began to erode.
Country music has changed tremendously, so what now is considered country was not considered country at that time. We were doing stuff that probably could have been called country music today, but would certainly have not have fit in at that time.

Country Alone
There is dreaming land and happy country
Cursed and blessed by her beauty alone
The lost children of the country
Foreign in sweet home alone
Do not understand country
Hardly meaning own name alone
Some praise the country
Some leave and laugh alone
Emptying nectar of country
Satisfying their belly alone
Forget about future seed country
Fight living and growing alone
So tragic for the country
Eaten by her child alone

Democracy
If a country’s majority of people are illiterate
Democracy will bear no sweet fruit
Whereas if a country’s most of the people are educated
Democracy will bring peace, harmony and prosperity.
Therefore governments ought to provide education to all citizens
In order to obtain good results of democracy
And if necessary they should go for free education
For the poor people irrespective of sex.
On the other hand education should be up to the mark
And moral education should also be provided
So that a corruption-free society can be established.
Thus democracy is able to set up a welfare state
With a minimum timeframe.

Real Losers
one is the soul of the country one is the wealth
both seem not to know how best to give to the country
one says one is the real son of the country
the other says he is equally a son of the country
for he helps build up the country, feed the nation
and develop it blood and sweat
]
one insists he is the real master
the other says he wishes to have similar status
both go on and on until they forget there is
a country to be fed, to be built, and both
end up in the drain, soul and wealth
so much to fight over in a country
without much of a country to gain in the end
my pity, my pity

Country Woman
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
The first time I met you I knew you were the devils daughter
You came on like a river , doin all the things you oughta
Youre a self made women ,baby, not a made-to-order
If you had your way , I know youd make me stay
And that would only bring me down
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
(break)
Country women , country women ,country women
Country women, country women , ahh....
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
Leave my life alone

Country women now , country women now, country women now, (fade)

Anthem
A country I see inside has partnership with me,
With gladness they invoke an anthem of joy.
A country might describe ours, ours,
The merriment is immense, I destroy like a country.
A country is murdered always by the neighbour,
But will it take over the opposite kind?
A country best is, a masterful work,
A distant dive and gorgeous jelly.
When a country is a nation
This anthem must not begin.

Crazy Country Hop
By j. otis
Way down in a country town one day
A little ole country band began to play.
They had two guitars and a beat-up saxophone;
When the leader said go them cats began to blow.
Ooh wee oh oh, ooh la la
Lets rock and roll.
Now all the poeple gathered round
Just to dig that rockin rollin sound.
Suddenly the drummer rang a bell
And all them country cats began to yell.
Ooh wee oh oh, ooh la la
Lets rock and roll.
Ole macdonald did a crazy bop
Said its time to milk my cow, I got to stop,
But just before I cool it and cut out
Heres something all you cats can think about.
Ooh wee oh oh, ooh la la
Lets rock and roll.
Snaggle-toothed malinda was a drag,
She latched onto a dude who showed up stag.
He tried to run and then he tripped and fell;
She kissed him and we all could hear him yell.
Ooh wee oh oh, ooh la la
Lets rock and roll.
Well, a hound dog ran a polecat into town,
Brought him to the dance and laid him down.
Someone hollered skunk and you can bet
All them country cats is runnin yet.
Ooh wee oh oh, ooh la la
Lets rock and roll.

God's Country
God’s country is a place between,
The two great seas.
God’s country is a forest,
Of evergreens and pines.
God’s country is a homeland,
Not tarnished by incredulity,
But shined by hospitality,
God’s country is a hunting ground,
And a young boy’s home.
God’s country is a masterpiece,
Of smelted man and nature,
And of pride, love, and sacrifice.
