We have a moral responsibility to save wild places like the arctic refuge for future generations, and that is why our country has remained committed to its protection for nearly 50 years.

The Fight Goes On The Fight Must Never End
The woman conservationists admire
She fights to save the trees of Sherbrooke Shire
A staunch member of the 'Save The Dandenongs Team'
The fight is on to keep the mountain green.
To woods and all green places she's a friend
And the fight goes on the fight must never end
The verbal war the unending war of words
To save the woods and hedgerows for the birds.
The fight is on to save the greenery
To save green places and each precious tree
For future generations to enjoy
The fight goes on and the heated words still fly.
The developer say we'll cut the forest down
And replace the scrubland with a concrete town
But the conservationists keep getting in their way
The woods were always here and the woods will stay.
And the Margaret Douglas's of this world too rare
And the developers too many everywhere
To woods and all green places she's a friend
And the fight goes on the fight must never end.

For example, the Prime Minister earlier this year talked about the importance of the Arctic to our future. He's right. A hundred years from now, the strength of Canada is going to be coming from our resources in the Arctic.

Responsibility Accepted Before Judgement Seat Of God
I accept full complete total responsibility
for all my sins both great or small committed
sins deliberate or sins by error committed
responsibility for all I fully accept before God
responsibility for all I bear as judgement of God
blood sacrifice of Jesus my reparation paid before God
before God I give thanks worship for all eternity.

Wild In The Country
(words & music by george wise - hugo peretti - luigi creatore)
A rose grows wild in the country
A tree grows tall as the sky
The wind blows wild in the country
And part of the wild, wild country, am i
Wild, wild, like the deer and the dove
Wild and free is this land that I love
A dream grows wild in the country
A love grows tall as the sky
A heart beats wild in the country
And here with a dream in my heart
Part of the wild, wild country, am i

I think that we have a responsibility to make certain that we are fiscally responsible in order to assure, frankly, future generations don't have to pay our bills.

Arctic World
I dont wanna grow anything in my heart
I dont want to write all these things in the sand
I dont want to listen and not understand
I dont want to tramp up the footpath of stars
Dont want to be an advocate
Dont want to be a monument
There is nothing that grows in your arctic world
I dont want to breathe that smithsonian air
I dont want to listen when they toll the bell
cos I cant take another industrial feast
On the ground, on my back, out there
I want to meet the president
Of a country without sense
There is nothing that grows in his arctic world
There is nothing that grows in your arctic world
There is nothing that grows in this arctic world

I look forward to a great future for America - a future in which our country will match its military strength with our moral restraint, its wealth with our wisdom, its power with our purpose.

The most important thing about global warming is this. Whether humans are responsible for the bulk of climate change is going to be left to the scientists, but it's all of our responsibility to leave this planet in better shape for the future generations than we found it.

To me, its seems necessary to rediscover - and the energy to do so exists - that even the political and economic spheres need moral responsibility, a responsibility that is born in man's heart and, in the end, has to do with the presence or absence of God.

No Voucher For You
Inspired by Lydon.
God save my bank
And its greedy regime,
They got all my cash
In their dirty stash.
God save my job!
There is a hungry mob,
They want to rob me,
Wanna outjob me.
You can tell 'em, mate, what you want
And you can tell 'em, mate, what you need –
There's no voucher – no voucher –
No voucher for you!
God save my tent –
I mean it, man!
The storm is coming,
Tent saves!
God save my wife,
My junk-food chef,
But I figure now,
For my problems she's deaf!
Again same history,
Another masquerade –
Life has left me behind
And all my friends are bribed!
With your future we can do anything,
You are searchin' where we've just been;
We're possessin' the future –
Your vouchers & your future!
God save my mind,
By all means now –
I've never dreamt
Of this!
God save my beer –
C'mon, beer, get near! –
There is no future
In near future!
No voucher for me,
No voucher for you.
Wrong future for you.

Arctic Moon
Arctic moon—you rise like a cold memory
From the bleak black boiling sea.
Arctic moon—your yellow light dances
With the limber aurora borealis.
Arctic moon—you glide across
A world of darkness and loss.
Arctic moon—you yet reveal
The beauty that winter would conceal.

Not Afraid
I am not afraid of being judged
I am not scared even if misjudged
What makes me little vulnerable?
My misconduct and future troubles
Why my actions should be noted?
When moral is completely shaken and floated
I am as good as any ordinary fly
Who has nothing at stake to try?
What else I did not attempt at?
All follies committed and yet
Prayed and portrayed as nice and humble
Why did not I fell down and crumble?
I did what others might have done hiding
Yet I made it known it without kidding
I would not be successful if not fall in line
People will throw me out and side line
I kept praying for better deal
I was weeping inside for soul to heal
As it was making me bleed more
What more pain I had in store?
I would love to narrate my helplessness
How can I trust anyone on the face?
How I blame others when am not doing well?
Life has turned up side down and proved as hell
Only sadness in eyes for revelation
It has stood heavily against odd in relation
I might have erred every time to prove innocence
I shall take refuge in isolation to prove my presence
I leave it to others for treating me fairly
If possible pardon me leave alone sparingly
I have stood my ground well but failed
In all moral standards and trailed
“Remember me in your critical time” words sounded in ears
“I shall stand by you sometimes” I had waited for years
“Leave all worries to me” I was coming out of fears
“Act alone and set your course” I was ready to bear
I visualized him taking far away
I thought this may only be the way
Why to bother about all holy books?
When nice food is going to be spoiled by many cooks

Love story
He loved her
She loved him
He gave her, his heart
She gave him, her soul
Gifts exchanged
Unable to meet
Desires remained
Unfulfilled
They remained apart
No hope to meet
He committed suicide
She also died
Fate wins
Love loses
Sad end to a love
Story
Which remained
Incomplete

Protection
Night after night
I keep holding on
You say you love me
Then you leave me so lonely
Baby, I dont believe a word
Youre sayin
I think its all some evil game
Youre playin
Still all day long all I do is think
About ya
You got me believin that I cant
Live without ya
Well if ya want it, well here is
My confession
Baby, I cant help it, youre my obsession
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
I wait at home by my telephone
When I call your house, baby
Youre not home
Knock on the door and rush
Down the stairs
When I open up, baby youre
Not there
When were together and ya put
Your arms around me
Your love sweeps away all the
Confusion that surrounds me
You keep my mind
Forever, ever in doubt
You want me believin
That baby, I cant live without
Protection thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
We stand alone, at my window
And stare out, at the shadows
Down below
I feel your fingers on my face
I want to stay, I want to run away
Protection thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love
Protection, thats what I need
I need protection, baby from your love...

Little Island
LITTLE ISLAND
Randy Newman
In two long wars, my country bled
To save the world for everyone
As through the years, the fight we've led
Too long, we stood alone, too long alone
And when at last, the battle won
We asked for no reward
An empire gone
Two generations turned to blood and dust
Only the best were lost
Only the best
And now the years have passed
The times have changed
The foe is risen up
He stands astride the world
His dreams of conquest all fulfilled
Little island, little island
Glory lost in the mists of time
They will pay for what was done
To those of us who died so young
They will pay for what was done
Little island, little island
Little island
