The Lines That Mama Recited To Our Housemaid
we just hired a new housemaid
and i like her
because she sings like a
mountain bird
her voice like the wind
passing
by the dainty leaves
of summer
she has the native color
of a fertile
brown soil
her skin glows
like a shiny buri
mat
but then mama
is so old and cranky
and her lines
are dirty:
linda! linda! where's my tea?
linda throw wipe my urine
linda wipe my anus
linda wash my v.gina
linda, i have vomits
all over my bed
linda, clean my room
linda, wash the plates
linda, swat the flies
linda, take my lice
linda, wash my spittle
linda! linda! linda!
stupida! stupida!
stupida! stupida!
since then i have
never heard her sing
since then i have
not seen her smile
but really, i like
her more.......

Does He Love You
(sandy knox, billy stritch)
Reba:
I've known about you
For a while now
When he leaves me
He wears a smile now
As soon as he's away from me
In your arms is where he wants to be
Linda:
But you're the one he rushes home to
You're the one he gave his name to
I never see his face
In the early morning light
You have his mornings, his daytime, and sometimes i have his nights
Reba:
But does he love you
Linda:
Does he love you
Reba:
Like he loves me
Linda:
Like he loves me
Reba:
Does he think of you
Linda:
Does he think of you
Reba & linda:
When he's holding me
Reba:
And does he whisper
Linda:
Does he whisper
Reba & linda:
All his fantasies
Reba:
Does he love you
Linda:
Does he love you
Reba & linda:
Like he's been loving me
Linda:
But when he's with me
He says he needs me
And that he wants me
That he believes in me
Reba:
And when i'm in his arms
Oh he swears there's no one else
Is he deceiving me
Or am i deceiving myself
Linda:
Am i deceiving myself
Repeat chorus
Reba:
I should not lose my temper
Linda:
I should not be ashamed
Reba:
Cause i have eveything to lose
Linda:
And i, i have nothing to gain
Repeat chorus
Reba:
Oh, does he love you

A Linda Song
Music: Barry Manilow
Lyrics: Enoch Anderson
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He never wrote a song for Linda
He wrote as though he lived alone
He wrote of dreams that end
And of sad brave men
Inventing worlds he'd never known
But he never wrote a song for Linda
And she was right there all along
Loved him back to life
When his luck ran low
But he never wrote a Linda song
He nearly broke his heart at writing
Linda kept him from despair
Standin' by his side
through the hungry days
But he hardly seemed to see her there
And he never wrote a song for Linda
And she was right there all along
The one real thing in his crazy world
And he never wrote a Linda song.
When the bills piled up
He couldn't pay
He couldn't dream no more
So he hitched a ride and he rode away
And he left a note for Linda by the door
By the door
When times got rough he'd phone her
Once or twice she took the call
Then she changed her number and she turned her head
And Linda never looked back at all
He'll never write a song for Linda
And she was right there all along
All he knows is no one understands
And he never wrote a Linda song
No he never wrote a Linda song

Linda Let Me Be The One
Midnight boys are outside
Scrapin tears up off the street
Standing guard over the window
Where the lonely linda sleeps
Theres a kid named eddie
Walks like an angel in defeat
The ashes of a romance come
Traces lindas name in a seat
Calls
Linda will you let me be the one
Linda will you, hey let me be the one
Linda will you let me be the one
Linda will you let me be the one
In a room full of contenders
Shadow boxin, eddies strong
Till he drops through a feigned surrender
To the canvas draped in scarves
Stole from lindas bedroom
The night he laid at her feet
And the midnight boys were wasted
Down on king street
He calls out
Linda will you let me be the one
Linda will you, hey let me be the one
Linda will you let me be the one
Linda will you let me be the one
Midnights base is st marys
Midnight boys hide from the rain
Stay with the stolen sisters
Till the streets are dry again
Talking fast cars and chrome parts
Different worlds and strange girls
Empty homes, busted hearts
And kneeling with linda in the dark
Linda will you let me be the one
Linda will you, hey let me be the one
Linda will you let me be the one

Kissing You
And I cant believe its real
I cant believe its you
Cant believe its happening
Cant believe its true
And I cant believe that you are here with me
And I am here with you
Softly kissing you
Forever kissing you
Kissing you
And I cant believe my eyes
I dont know what to do
Cant believe you are mine
Nor that Im lying here with you
And I cant believe youre making love with me
And Im making it with you
Softly kissing you
Forever kissing you
Kissing you
Through the night
I feel fire
And theres nothin but you in my mind
As you quench me all of my desires
And I melt in ecstasy
And I cant believe its real
Cant believe its true
Cant believe that you chose me
When I was choosing you
And I cant believe that you are here with me
And I am here with you
Softly kissing you
Forever kissing you
Oh gently kissing you
Kissing you
Kissing you
Kissing you

Linda
Seven ships without a sail
Seven cats without a tail
Boy, its weird here
On this spooky old pier tonight
But Im not frightened 'cause I know what it is
Evrything is just the same as it was
Im in trouble because of linda
She hurt me so badly
She said shed be here
On our special pier
I lover her
Linda, the carousels playing
But that merry-go-round
Is bringing me down
'cause I remember what it meant to you
Linda, linda
I love you

My Favorite Girl
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl, dont you know,
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl.
You walked into my life, your love was so new,
And nothing will ever change my feelings for you,
Well, you were so far away, now I am close to you, girl,
So let us run away, our heart thats waiting will stay.
My favorite...
Theres so much I like in you I cant go on,
I wanted a girl like you Ive looked so long,
Girl, nothing will make us wrong, I know our love is too strong,
Lets leave the rest behind, our dreams ask what we will find.
My favorite...
My favorite...
(rap:) shes my favorite girl, the one Im always thinking of, that one.
(rap:) my favorite girl, the one I love.
My favorite... (repeat & fade ad lib)

Kissing My Love
When I'm kissing my love
I can hear a thump thumping in my head
Mmm when I'm kissing my love
I close my eyes and see
A pretty city
With a million flowerbeds
Ah I can hear the angels sing
Songs that only angels sing
He's such a pretty thing
That I can feel my heart
Just a thumping and a skipping
When I'm kissing my love
Mmm ah when I'm kissing my love
I feel the blood pumping in my veins
Mmm when I'm kissing my love
He's such a tender sender
With a sweet young frame
Oh he's so good at what he does
All I wanna do is kiss and hug
He's got me in love
And I can feel my heart
Just a thumping and a skipping
When I'm kissing my love
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love
When he's kissing me
When I'm kissing my love

When I'm kissing my love
Ah when I'm kissing my love
I feel the blood pumping in my veins
Oh when I'm kissing my love

With a sweet young frame

All I wanna do is kiss and hug

Dont Listen To Linda
By tommy boyce & bobby hart
Dont listen to linda
She said all those things before
Shes just a pretender,
And though you couldnt love her more
Shell lead you on, and then one day
Shell say youll have to part
Dont listen to linda
Shell only break your heart.
Dont listen to linda
If you want some good advice,
Just try to remember,
She did it once, shell do it twice
Theres more to her little games,
Than your eyes can see,
Dont listen to linda,
Or youll end up like me.
Youll never understand her
All the presents you could hand her,
Could never be enough, oh no,
So, dont underestimate her,
cause sooner or later,
The goings gonna start to get rough.
Dont listen to linda,
Dont believe the things you hear.
Youll end up, contender,
For the loser of the year.
Ive said everything I can
To try and make you see
Dont listen to linda,
Or youll end up like me.

Linda
Linda had a tryst with
Samuel and they sleep on
the grass together
Linda has no regrets
about Samuel
who got a thick, strong, long
and hard will
and so Linda and Samuel
live happily ever after.

Favorite Girl
Funny how things don’t seem to ever change
Now that I see you I’m transformed I am not the same
I know all the parts of you cause you’re my favorite girl
Because of everything you do you’re my favorite girl
Good things come and good things go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
I've tried so hard to move forward
But I keep on moving back
I’m stuck in some odd time warp
On an elusive track
Your a sacred pearl cause your my favorite girl
There’ no sanctuary in this world but your my favorite girl
People come and people go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
Its the same old story But damn if it don’t make you cry
Boy meets girl than loses her for no reason why
In my heart, nothing should matter except you’re my favorite girl
The whole universe could shatter you’d still be my favorite girl
People come and people go
We only have to day
Baby baby you stole the show
Baby baby you stole the show
Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl

Stories
Through every window, we look out
what we see on the other side
holds many stories waiting to unfold.
Stories of great achievements
within someone’s life.
Stories of gathering love
found with in open arms.
Stories of perusing heartaches
where someone has gone away.
Stories a million fold
that surround every living thing.
Stories we are not aware of,
but happen before our eyes.
Stories to share with all
from those who can see them unfold.
The next time you look out a window
try and see what is really there,
the stories that are everywhere.
