I wanted to be self-sufficient, I wanted to take care of myself, and I wanted to learn. I wanted to travel, I wanted to see the world and have my eyes opened. I wanted to be consistently challenged, and I knew I needed to be creative in some way. When I got my job in a bar and I could pay for my tuition and go on auditions and sometimes get jobs that I loved and pay my rent, I knew that I would be all right. Where Is She Now?

I once knew,
this person who,
devoted their live,
to changing the world,
but now I wonder,
where she went.
She had a heart,
that only would beat,
when she felt that this world,
truly needed a shining light.
She wanted to be that light,
she wanted to change,
she wanted to give hope,
she wanted it all,
but now look,
where is she now?
Many years ago,
I was this young girl,
who only wanted the best,
who only needed to see,
the smile of one person,
to brighten her day.
Now she can't even look,
at a single smile,
because it just brings her down,
nothing can ever change,
not in her eyes.
Her eyes were once blue,
blue like the skies,
but now her eyes,
are a dark coal-like colour.
She's lost in this world,
she's lost herself too,
I just wish,

I See Them

When I was younger I wanted to overcome the world, in dreams I seen it from above, I wanted to influence, to share my feelings of God, to express an impulse, a will I did not yet understand, yet new, part of me still feels that way, but much less. I am in awe of the people, the lovely souls that have shared some much, over come so much, are not seem by their love ones yet, I see them, they see their light upon me, slowly they see them selves in my eyes, and their own. The world sees them as they come more and more into focus. Such brighten up the world, the lives of some many others.

I just wanted to play tennis. I started because I wanted to pick up another sport and then as I was slowly getting better I wanted to see how far I can go but I always wanted to be myself. I wanted to be original. I didn't want to copy anybody's style.
