All the gold which is under or upon the earth is not enough to give in exchange for virtue.

the three gifts of the Magi
gold symbolizing virtue,
frankincense symbolizing prayer,
and myrrh symbolizing suffering
gold
kingship on earth,
frankincense
of priestship,
and myrrh
for death.

Value manifests itself as exchange value, as a quantitatively determined relationship, in virtue of the fact that one commodity can be exchanged for another.

Wealth From Misery
What is gold really worth?
When people die from it on this Earth.
Now gold is just a another rock,
why is the price so high on it's stock?
Humans are not as highly evolved
if we give it some thought.
This would not happen on highly evoled
planet—not in a million years-
It does not get US to where We Are Going
I'm sorry gold millionaires.
Especially if women are being raped, children are being killed,
what for so you can put more money in your till?

Give me love
Appreciate me for every diamond i'm worth
Never take me for granted or leave me in dirt
Cherish me as i love you
Give me the love love that i give you
Give me love please i beg of you
But not the love for a beggars soul
Give me love that is pure and true
Give me love of more worth than gold
I ask you for love that never grows old
I ask for love that never grows cold
That time cannot kill and words cannot low
I ask for love that can never be broken
That can withstand the world and any of its burdens
Please give me love that no eye has ever witnessed
Or love that no lips have ever spoken
Give me love that the world cannot tear
That can be ganged by darkness and never fear
Love that has more value than this earth
Love more valuable than any worth
For this is the love i give to you
So value me as i value you
Cause if i have no worth to you
Than what worth are you to me?
So please i beg of you my love
Give me the love that i give to you
I cannot love and never be loved
No...
I cannot be a diamond valued with rocks
When value more than this earth alone
But if you cannot return this love
And i have no more value than a rock
Than i shall value you too as so
And spare my heart the sorrow
Fore as i shall never know your love
Is as you shall never know mine.

Gold In Them Hills
I know it doesn't seem that way
But maybe it's the perfect day
Even though the bills are piling
And maybe Lady Luck ain't smiling
But if we'd only open our eyes
We'd see the blessings in disguise
That all the rain clouds are fountains
Though our troubles seem like mountains
There's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose heart
Give the day a chance to start
Every now and then life says
Where do you think you're going so fast
We're apt to think it cruel but sometimes
It's a case of cruel to be kind
And if we'd get up off our knees
Why then we'd see the forest for the trees
And we'd see the new sun rising
Over the hills on the horizon
There's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose faith
Give the world a chance to say...
A word or two, my friend
There's no telling how the day might end
And we'll never know until we see
That there's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose heart
Give the day a chance to start
There's gold in them hills...
There's gold in them hills...

Goldrush
Give me your gold
Blue moon is walking
These lips are smoking
Big time disaster
My heart gets faster
My pot is melting
Doctors consulting destiny
Give it to me
This is
Your show and its old
And its a wonder
This day I give it to you
Give it to you
Give me your gold
Give me your gold
You got a nugget in your pocket
Got a nugget in your hand
You got a nugget in your pocket
Got a nugget for a grand
So forget your hesitation
Take a dozen invitation
Like its for a great confusion
Like its for a grand illusion
Clouds... love... stars... colors
Take it into the night

An Exchange Of Values Have Come To Upset
Obtaining gold and diamonds,
Is still prioritized...
In those minds that can not accept,
An exchange of values have come to upset...
The status quo with depth and purpose.
Just to have 'things' to present an image,
Seems to be on the wane for those drained...
And doing the best they can,
To recover from the quick presence of reality.
Many had never met reality so personalized before.
And the experience has been breathtaking.
Even though...
Obtaining gold and diamonds,
Is still prioritized...
In those minds that can not accept,
An exchange of values have come to upset...
The status quo with depth and purpose,
There still remain those...
Clinging onto their delusions,
Since this is the only reality they know!

Dry Up Your Tears My People
Dry up your tears my people!
For gold is not gold by itself when found;
It is found as a gold dust and then,
Refined into pure gold! !
So, having fun and living on the edge of life doesn't pay;
But rather, gain consciousness to move ahead by wiping away your tears.
Yes, all will be well soon;
And like the muse of bananas with the monkeys at as zoo!
However, money really talks on this earth;
But, the same money cannot buy many talents.
Some days are better than others,
However, live like a king and die like a man! !
For, you are not the only person suffering on this earth.
Come to me and let me lead you with the muse of my love,
And like the works done in the land of beauty and love;
For, you are not alone on this earth.
Fly to me and let me show you wisdom,
For where the rich and powerful rules, are also poor people around;
Because, without the poor, the rich cannot be richer always!
Do wipe away your tears my people,
For Rome was not built in a day! !
And, there are still constructions going on in Rome today;
So, stop crying and give me the smile of wisdom.
There are more things to learn on this earth,
But, the Laws are there to guide us on always;
So, if you cannot wipe away your tears,
Then, just lay your troubles on my pillow and let me wipe your tears away.

Heart Of Gold
I want to live,
I want to give
Ive been a miner for a heart of gold.
Its these expressions I never give
That keep me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Ive been to hollywood
Ive been to redwood
I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold
Ive been in my mind, its such a fine line
That keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Keep me searching for a heart of gold
You keep me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Ive been a miner for a heart of gold.

And what does reward virtue? You think the communist commissar rewards virtue? You think a Hitler rewards virtue? You think, excuse me, if you'll pardon me, American presidents reward virtue? Do they choose their appointees on the basis of the virtue of the people appointed or on the basis of their political clout?

The effect of the virtue
A man of virtue practises virtue
Against the myriads of odds, so true,
And wove around him a crust of virtue
But his core remained as same underneath.
His libido is much in compression,
Capable of giving more explosions.
A man of virtue is a potential danger
From whom might spurt evils at any scale.

Giving Up Giving Up
it is a surprising remark
at the end of what to give up
for instance
take the following 'Give up complaining——focus on gratitude.
Give up pessimism——become an optimist.
Give up harsh judgments——think kindly thoughts.
Give up worry——trust Divine Providence.
Give up discouragement——be full of hope.
Give up bitterness——turn to forgiveness.
Give up hatred——return good for evil.
Give up negativism——be positive.
Give up anger——be more patient.
Give up pettiness——become mature.
Give up gloom——enjoy the beauty that is all around you.
Give up jealousy——pray for trust.
Give up gossiping——control your tongue.
Give up sin——turn to virtue.'
etcetera,
etcetera,
the twist is the last: give up giving up!

To a Lady
WELL you Sincerity display,
A virtue wond'rous rare !
Nor value, tho' the world should say,
You're rude, so you're sincere.
To be sincere, then, give me leave ;
And I will frankly own,
Since you but this one virtue have,
'Twere better you had none.

The Fable Of Midas
Midas, we are in story told,
Turn'd every thing he touch'd to gold:
He chipp'd his bread; the pieces round
Glitter'd like spangles on the ground:
A codling, ere it went his lip in,
Would straight become a golden pippin.
He call'd for drink; you saw him sup
Potable gold in golden cup:
His empty paunch that he might fill,
He suck'd his victuals thro' a quill.
Untouch'd it pass'd between his grinders,
Or't had been happy for gold-finders:
He cock'd his hat, you would have said
Mambrino's helm adorn'd his head;
Whene'er he chanced his hands to lay
On magazines of corn or hay,
Gold ready coin'd appear'd instead
Of paltry provender and bread;
Hence, we are by wise farmers told
Old hay is equal to old gold:
And hence a critic deep maintains
We learn'd to weigh our gold by grains.
This fool had got a lucky hit;
And people fancied he had wit,
Two gods their skill in music tried
And both chose Midas to decide:
He against Ph[oelig]bus' harp decreed,
And gave it for Pan's oaten reed:
The god of wit, to show his grudge,
Clapt asses' ears upon the judge,
A goodly pair, erect and wide,
Which he could neither gild nor hide.
And now the virtue of his hands
Was lost among Pactolus' sands,
Against whose torrent while he swims
The golden scurf peels off his limbs:
Fame spreads the news, and people travel
From far, to gather golden gravel;
Midas, exposed to all their jeers,
Had lost his art, and kept his ears.
This tale inclines the gentle reader
To think upon a certain leader;
To whom, from Midas down, descends
That virtue in the fingers' ends.
What else by perquisites are meant,
By pensions, bribes, and three per cent.?
By places and commissions sold,
And turning dung itself to gold?
By starving in the midst of store,
As t'other Midas did before?
None e'er did modern Midas chuse
Subject or patron of his muse,
But found him thus their merit scan,
That Phoebus must give place to Pan:
He values not the poet's praise,
Nor will exchange his plums for bays.
To Pan alone rich misers call;
And there's the jest, for Pan is ALL.
Here English wits will be to seek,
Howe'er, 'tis all one in the Greek.
Besides, it plainly now appears
Our Midas, too, has ass's ears:
Where every fool his mouth applies,
And whispers in a thousand lies;
Such gross delusions could not pass
Thro' any ears but of an ass.
But gold defiles with frequent touch,
There's nothing fouls the hand so much;
And scholars give it for the cause
Of British Midas' dirty paws;
Which, while the senate strove to scour,
They wash'd away the chemic power.
While he his utmost strength applied,
To swim against this popular tide,
The golden spoils flew off apace,
Here fell a pension, there a place:
The torrent merciless imbibes
Commissions, perquisites, and bribes,
By their own weight sunk to the bottom;
Much good may't do 'em that have caught 'em!
And Midas now neglected stands,
With ass's ears, and dirty hands.
