But what many psychologists have done, probably because they did well on a test themselves and everyone wants high self esteem, is to create this little box and then do their research inside it.

The way we're really going to grow the economy is to invest in people, to invest in innovation, to have the federal government put money in the kind of research that will create the new high-technology, biotechnology industries that will create the millions of new jobs.

Esteem must be founded on preference: to hold everyone in high esteem is to esteem nothing.
I think high self-esteem is overrated. A little low self-esteem is actually quite good. Maybe you're not the best, so you should work a little harder.

Experimental high energy physics research is a group effort. I have been very fortunate to have had outstanding students and colleagues who have made invaluable contributions to the research with which I have been associated.

My burning desire to create
MY BURNING DESIRE TO CREATE
So intense and so powerful
Like a furious burning fire
My desire to create is so powerful
So painful and so throbbing
Like a hungry child crying for food
My desire to create is so hopeful
So rigid and so consistent
Like a passionate entrepreneur
My passion to create is so unshakeable
Every hour that passes by I want to create
Every moment I spend I long to create
I have a living urge and desire to create
A living passion to express myself
A burning desire to live my true life
Sometimes I hide myself in the midst of business
At times I deliberately cloud my space with my busy life
Sometimes I try to hide away from my passion to create
Sometimes I try to narrow down the size of my passion
But regardless of all my efforts my desire always finds me
I am so transparent inside, my passion to create
Has invaded all my privacy inside
So strong and so powerful
Like a helpless child looking for love and security
My desire to create is so seeking and so burning.

Sex: Take It Easy
Once, the heroines showed their face
And offered their hand to heroes.
They were held in low esteem.
Now, the heroines bare their parts
Offer lips, hugs and embrace.
They are held in high esteem.
Eroticism finds its way to be casual.

Psionics
Psionics is medicine for the mind
For the psychologists, for the intelligent.
A space craft is inside the tortured soul,
One robot to rule another,
A simple body docks with another
By the knife, and it is wise,
So perceptible to deliver the right and sapient
Move, the surgeon knows.
Psionics is all the toy,
It is for my boy.

Plasticine
Beauty lies inside the eye of another youthful dream
That doesnt sell its soul for self-esteem
Thats not plasticine
Beauty lies inside desire and every wayward heart redeemed
That doesnt sell its soul for self-esteem
Thats not plasticine
Dont forget to be the way you are (x4)
The only thing you can rely on is that you cant rely on anything
Dont go and sell your soul for self-esteem
Dont be plasticine
Dont forget to be the way you are (x4)
And dont forget to be the way you are (x4)
The way you are...

When Self Esteem Isn't Taught
Self destruction occurs,
From the inside out.
With a superficial attachment,
To live as felt and misunderstood.
When self esteem isn't taught...
And life is thought and compared,
To a ticket bought...
One begins this experience,
With serious mental issues.
And then when jealousy is inflicted,
Because of physical appearances...
There is no escaping from this mindset.
A plastic existence is all one accepts.
Self destruction occurs,
From the inside out.
With a superficial attachment,
To live as felt and misunderstood.
When self esteem isn't taught,
An existing ignorance that has existed is praised.

Risk Of Losing Peace
I have lost it somewhere during the long journeys,
When thinking of one or more incidents and agonies,
I might have let someone to steal it from me,
I might have been careless to lose it to a snatcher,
Knowing the long arrogant nails adorn the fingers,
My heart had been kept too near to scratch and tear,
When the things were placed too high to reach,
I wore the ignorant efforts of high heels without any research,
Involved with unknown territorial business in red water,
I have lost it somewhere and don't know how it occurred,
Once it's happened, it is very hard to bear and solve,
Losing it will not be a choice, we will lose it to resolve,
The blunders that we have made and it may take many months,
And years. The hearts without peace create havoc,
The mind without peace is a place for hell's makeshift block.

Music to Me
Music to me is always you.
Wild chords that surround my heart
that shiver inside me and break apart
into little pieces of solitary tones
that create in me passionate moans.
Music to me will always be you.
Soft lilting melodies that lift me high
and keep me breathless to satisfy
each part of my body and my soul
like the crescendo of a drummer's roll.
Music to me is your sweet touch.
Syncopated rhythms that make me blush
increase my libido and create my purrs.
For whenever the music in me stirs
I feel as if you are here.

One book at a time... though I'm usually doing the research for others while I'm writing, but that sort of research is fairly desultory and I like to stick to the book being written - and writing a book concentrates the mind so the research is more productive.

The Wake-up Bomb
(berry/buck/mills/stipe)
I look good in a glass pack
I look good and mean
I look good in metallic sick wraparound blackout tease
I scud along the horizon, I drink some sweet tree
I get high in my low-ass boot-cut jean
I like being seen
I look good with my drink-eat-no-sleep, take-a-leap longevity
I get high on my attitude, latitude, 1973
Im in deep
My heads on fire and high esteem
Carry my dead, bored, been there, done that, anything
Oh, the wake-up bomb
Oh, the wake-up bomb
Oh, the wake-up bomb
Oh, the wake-up bomb
My heads on fire and high esteem
Get drunk and sing along to queen
Practice my t-rex moves and make the scene
Carry my dead, bored, been there, done that, anything
I had to knock a few buildings over
I make an ugly mess
I had to blow a gasket
Drop transmission
I had to decompress
I had to write the great american novel
I had a neutron bomb
I had to teach the world to sing by the age of 21
I wake up (I wake up)
I wake up (I wake up)
I threw up when I saw what Id done
Oh, the wake-up bomb
Oh, the wake-up bomb
My heads on fire and high esteem
Get drunk and sing along to queen
Practice my t-rex moves and make the scene
Yeah, Id rather be anywhere doing anything
Ive had enough, Ive seen enough, Ive had it all, Im giving up
I won the race, I broke the cup, I drank it all, I spit it up
Ive had enough, Ive seen enough, Ive had it all, Im giving up
I won the race, I broke the cup, I drank it all, I spit it up
Yeah, atomic, supersonic
What a joke, Im dumb
See ya, dont wanna be you
Lunch meat, pond scum
My heads on fire in high esteem
Get drunk and sing along to queen
Practice my t-rex moves and make the scene
Yeah, Id rather be anywhere doing anything
Yeah, Id rather be anywhere doing anything
Yeah, Id rather be anywhere doing anything
Yeah

If It Should Come to Go Unrecognized
I could care less,
About your obsessions...
And assessments,
You qualify yourself to test.
There are so many restless like you.
With low self esteem,
Brewing rude and crude attitudes.
You're joking right?
You think If I spend time with you...
You'd be someone I like?
Someone to renew a lost appetite?
Did you fall out of bed...
And hit your head last night?
I could care less,
About your obsessions...
And assessments,
You qualify yourself to test.
There is no interest in you,
At best...
On levels I'm pursuing.
The undoing what you did has been done!
You've made that quite clear.
And I've healed from shedding tears!
But I see you're still absorbed...
In perfecting an ego I've long ignored!
Remember...
You were the one who cheated on me!
You were the one then who said I was b-o-r-i-n-g!
'A snore a moment! ', as I recall.
When maturity comes,
It is not welcomed by all.
Especially if it should come,
To go unrecognized!
