I actually think there's a potential, a crazy potential, that network TV could become something valuable and worthwhile, just because of fear on the part of the networks.

I probably would be continuing to do voice-overs, continuing to do cartoon shows, and at the same time I'd probably be on a sitcom or a dramatic television show.

Continuing...............
Limitations are not for people for whom life is a continuing quest.
Boundaries are not for people for whom life is a continuing exploration.
Destinations are not for people for whom life is a continuing journey.
Harbours are not for people for whom life is a continuing sail.
Accomplishments are not for people for whom life is a continuing
Leisure is not for those who are always indulged in work.

A show that no one thought had a chance has just finished its fifth year: Charmed. I think it's tougher for the younger networks, so I think they have a little more patience for the sake of the show. But who knows?

There's fierce competition between all the networks to get the guest who can bring the most pertinent information about whatever the story of the moment happens to be.

The world is changing. Networks without a specific branding strategy will be killed. I envision a world of highly niched services and tightly run companies without room for all the overhead the established networks carry.

All three networks have always had a morning show but now cable of course is taking some of that audience away and a variety of other things, probably the Internet as well.

For Here We Have No Continuing City
For here we have no continuing city-
Here the falcons and the herons
Clash overhead, and the dead fall to ground
Like so many feckless soldiers.
For here we have no continuing city-
Wolves and foxes bear young in the caves
And they track the moon till dawn
Like the last worshipers of a lunar deity.
For here we have no continuing city-
When you reach out to touch my hand
Wild goats stumble high up in the cliffs
And the rabbit escapes the trap narrowly.

Narrator
(berry/buck/mills/stipe)
When I was watching tv back in 73
A skinny old man sure appealed to me
His name by now, Im sure you know
The man who played a starring role in jacques cousteau
Oh, i
And ever since then Ive written the dude
Dreaming of swimming around the
Coral reef
Id even bought my camera and my scuba gear
If only jacques had called to stop a career
Oh, i
(chorus)
I wanna be a narrator
I wanna be a narrator (I wanna be a narrator)
For the jacques cousteau show
For the jacques cousteau show (for the jacques cousteau show)
Swimming under water with my microphone
Id record noises in the aqua-zone
Chasing down the killer whale thats eating our crew
Just to bring the story facts back to you
Oh, i
(repeat chorus)
Ive written the networks, sent my picture too
Done everything I could possibly do
Ive given up trying to get through to him
Maybe he knows I dont know how to swim
Oh, i
(repeat chorus)

I don't think a show's ever changed networks in the middle of the season before, but it was cool because they gave us those extra couple years of life that was necessary to get us to syndication.

Potential Business Partners Profit Driven
In this age of global instant
electronic communications
enterprise private networks
any business for glory profit
partners who will not do things
the right way be ethical honest
are sources of huge potential profit
or risk illegal caught consequences.
Which will you conscience choose?
Will you moral integrity endure it?
Do you steadfast, believe in ethics, another future opportunity?
Will you adhering, to high professional standards, wait calmly?

It took the United States until 1920 to give women the franchise and another 40 or 50 years to start utilizing women's potential. How many women of incredible potential did we fail and what achievements were lost to all because we never tapped that potential?

Potential New Boyfriend
Got my eye on a boy
Hes eyeing me back
Its looking real good
This could be it
And I know that all of you girls
Would love to steal him away
He bought me a drink
I thanked him real sweet
Its always so nice when you first meet
And I know that all of you women would love to steal him away
So Im warning you
Chorus:
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
Building up an appetite
You can look but you cant buy
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
Pretty as a picture
Comin on so strong
Hes twisting my ignition key
Turn my motor on
But anyone can see, all his attentions on me
Give us some privacy
2nd chorus:
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
Better keep your hands off my
Its a welcome turn to try
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
Leave us alone tonight
Then if it dont work out right
Hes all yours
Until then
3rd chorus:
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
They keep crowdin in on me
He smiles rather unsuspiciously
Better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend
Fade:
Repeat 1st chorus

Everything I Have Is Yours
Burton lane / harold adamson
Everything I have is yours
You are part of me
Everything I have is yours
My destiny
I would gladly give the sun to you
If the sun were only mine
I would gladly give the earth to you
And the stars that shine
Everything that I posses
I offer you
Let my dream of happyness
Come through
Ill be happy just to spent my life
Waiting at your backend call
Everything I have is yours
My life
My all
Everything I have is yours
You are part of me
Everything I have is yours
My destiny
I would gladly give the sun to you

Letter Never Sent
Its been pretty simple so far, vacation in athens is calling me
And knock, knock, knock on wood, I thought Id left you behind
Heaven is yours, heaven is yours, heavens yours where I live
The thought of the catacombs left my soul at home
This letter never sent
And its so far, its so dark, Im so lost
Heavens yours, heavens yours, heavens yours where I live
(another story, another story for a while, someone show me)
When Im moving too fast, wheres my new address?
The water is evening now, the catacombs are filling in
If my soul was made of stone, no, not, not so dark, dark
And its so far, its so dark, Im so lost
And its so far, its so far, its so far
Heavens yours, heavens yours, heavens yours where I live
(another story, another story for a while, someone show me)
Heavens yours, heavens yours, heavens yours where I live
(another story, another story for a while, someone show me)

Where Are We Going?
Restraints were hoisted on at such an early age
Straps were tightened in the class
Scripts by the school sage
Putting out the spark
Left us in the dark
Possibilities shut right down
The cleaver of the uniform was handed down
Treated like a clown
Where are we going
Where are we going
What are we doing
What are we doing
Throwing it away like that
What are you doing
Throwing is away
All that potential
All that potential
Trickling away like that
We will refuse to be your clones or
Work in someones scheme
Let a person find themselves not be part
Of a machine that worships power and wealth
We need our sanity
A day will come when everyone will have
Their due respect
Hate will no longer be a twisted form of love
Where are we going
What are we doing
Throwing it away like that
What are you doing
All that potential
Trickling away like that
Tell me where are we going
What are we doing
Throwing it away like that
What are you doing
All that potential
Trickling away like that
