I do think it's important to live in the present because in that way you won't be living in a state of regret.

Regrets I Do Not Keep
Loosing your innocence is easy,
Like lying to your mom about having another cookie,
Doing something you'll regret, is easy.
Sometimes you have something so great,
And you don't know how important it is,
you don't see it's worth until it's too late,
You don't hold it to your heart, you don't keep it safe,
And then you lose it, and you see, it was great.
Falling to a higher power of want is so easy,
Like waving at a stranger in a car you pass on your way to work,
Becoming a victim to sin and temptation is easy.
So many things in life are given to you to keep,
And some of them you could never give up,
Like the right to show your feelings, the right to smile, to weep,
And these things you take as a given, yet they are truly a gift.
And some of these gifts we treat like nothing, some we do not keep.
Becoming and doing something you would never become or do is easy,
Like doing something before you think,
Falling into the hole of regret is easy.
In life you must live for what you have, not the past.
You must realize what you did and notice how it hurt you so,
But never regret what you have done, for that shall only form a cast,
A cast of what you were, one that keeps you still in a solid state,
You must learn; never live in the past.
I believe in the past, yet it is the present I keep,
I move on past things i have done, I do not look back,
For these regrets, I do not keep.

Experiment of God's Wish
That we live encouraged,
To acknowledge and grow...
Is important.
That we share what is learned...
And upon others bestow,
What it is we know...
Is important.
That the slate is wiped cleaned,
From that which is demeaning.
And we strive to occupy our minds,
With meaning and beneficial things.
And this to others we present and bring...
Is important while we still exist.
To discover that which affords us all happiness,
Is important.
Since this is why we have been blessed to be here!
And this is the 'experiment' of God's wish!
For you,
And me.
On this planet we have come to call Earth.
This has been important,
From the time we experienced,
That process of birth.

0984..... LIVE in the PRESENT
Past and Future Are Mental Constructs
LIVING in the NOW is MEDITATION
THE POWER is always in THE “NOW”
MOST DIFFICULT is to LIVE IN THE PRESENT
Mind likes illusions for Living in Past and Future is Illusion
TVs, Cinemas, Day Dreaming push you out of NOW
Boozing, Drugging, Philandering kick you out of NOW
Learn to live in THE NOW, For NOW only is REAL.
Our Mind is Always Caught up in PAST or FUTURE
Living in the PRESENT is CONQUERING the SELF
“Now” is only REAL for 'Now' only EXISTS
Alas! Many Poets always Live in PAST or FUTURE!

Undefined Importance
Who is the most important person,
When is the most important time,
A question that creates a loop on itself,
Quite intriguing, but never concrete,
Like rolling a die
With infinite sides,
It's a different answer
In a year or two
It only has one answer,
And most of us will get it wrong
Because none of us are truely living
The present, the Now, right this moment
Strip us of any labels,
Discard your position,
Stand up straight,
And open your eyes,
Who you are talking to right now,
Each second you are conversing with them
Is the most important thing
Right this moment

I very much regret, in appearing before you at your request, to address you on the present state of the country, and the prospect before us, that I can bring you no good tidings.

There's no regret. You can't regret. I mean, I've felt regret but I've also refused to allow regret to sow a seed and live in me because I don't believe it. You feel it, it's like guilt, it's like jealousy, it's like all those horrible things. You've just got to snip them and get them out, because they're no good.
Easy Livin'
Leo Robin / Ralph Rainger
Living for you is easy living
It's easy to live when you're in love
And I'm so in love
There is nothing in life but you
I never regret the years that I'm giving
They're easy to give when you're in love
I'm happy to do whatever I do for you
For you maybe I'm a fool
But it's fun
People say you rule me with one wave of your hand
Darling, it's grand
They just don't understand
Living for you is easy living
It's easy to live when you're in love
And I'm so in love
There's nothing in life but you

To live on the real life rails
We often look for the one to be ideal,
but when we meet the one who is real
we give foolish criteria
and it looks as a mystery.
Expecting the one from the fairy tales
we very often get only fails.
We want to get everything at once,
to get our chance.
As a result we burn the time,
loose the last dime.
May be it’s more important just to live,
think how to give,
not only to take
or live for someone’s sake.
Our life is the only one
and all in it has to be done
so that not to regret,
may be something to forget,
think what is more important,
get out of the routine,
to build our own mooring,
and…during the life time
listen to the chime,
and…hear the bells
which tell how to live,
how to love,
how to create the things
I’ve told you above,
without any tales
but on the real life rails.

Attica State
What a waste of human power
What a waste of human lives
Shoot the prisoners in the towers
Forty-three poor widowed wives
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Media blames it on the prisoners
But the prisoners did not kill
Rockefeller pulled the trigger
That is what the people feel
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Free the prisoners, jail the judges
Free all prisoners everywhere
All they want is truth and justice
All they need is love and care
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
They all live in suffocation
Lets not watch them die in sorrow
Nows the time for revolution
Give them all a chance to grow
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Come together join the movement
Take a stand for human rights
Fear and hatred clouds our judgement
Free us all from endless night
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Attica state, attica state,
We all live in attica state
Attica state, attica state,
Attica, attica, attica state

Live For Today
Show me the road and I will find my own
and you build the bridges and I'll burn them down.
So far away and all alone I roam
I'm taking chances in the here and now.
And all you wonder is who's for sale
but you won't know now and I won't tell.
You're always hiding, throwing up your hands
while heroes ride again.
God only knows all the places I've been
but I love this life that I'm live'n in and
I won't look back to regret yesterday.
We're not handed tomorrow
so I'll live for today.
Another day and yet another's done,
spending the life living within the past.
I'll take the chance before the chance has gone.
you never know when it will be your last
But still you wonder who's for sale
you won't know now and I won't tell.
You're always hiding, throwing up your hands
while heroes ride again.
God only knows all the places I've been
but I love this life that I'm live'n in.
I won't look back to regret yesterday.
We're not handed tomorrow
so I'll live for today.
We'll never know it When we run out of time until it's all over with
and there'll be nowhere to run.
We'll never say it but we're over our heads and we're drowning inside
all of these things we've said.
God only knws all the places I've been
but I love this life that I'm live'n in.
I won't look back to regret yesterday
cuz we're not handed tomorrow
so I'll live for today.
God only knows all the places I've been
but I love this life that I'm live'n in.
I won't look back to regret yesterday
cuz we're not handed tomorrow.
so I'll live for today.

The state I am in
In my periods of self-imposed isolation,
when I am in a state of being,
rather than that of action,
when my passiveness, becomes paramount,
and my ambition is reduced
to one of apathy,
when I exist as an inanimate object,
rather than an object which
reflects life,
when I am present,
but unaccounted for,
when I suffer from
sel-inflicted wounds
and wound others about me,
becoming a wall of inhumanity
that no one is able to scale,
including myself,
a solid nothing,
erected by one's own
faltering ego,
a state of inertia, that following
the laws of physics,
cannot move until acted upon
by an outside force,
(and probably not then either) ,
then I wonder,
what state is it,
that I am in?
Certainly not a vegatative state
as I would not be able to do
whatever the hell it is I am
doing now.
Certainly not a comatose state
as I would be unawake and
unaware of my surroundings.
It's possible that I could be
in such a state of mind
as to not know
just what it is that I am doing.
But that's ridiculous!
I do know what I'm doing.
So, what state am I in?
Why, Arizona, of course!

Present
Bury the Past
Forget the Future
Think about the Present
Be alert and cautious in the present
Do not regret about the past
Or worry about the future
Past is gone
Future is unknown
Present is what you have today
So utilise it to the fullest extent
Its your life's biggest asset
That will fetch you great dividends
Realize that this is a gift given to you by God
That's why it is called as "PRESENT"

To be happy
To be happy some need lot of things glamour and success love money
and wine but for some it is present in their beloved eyes.
To be happy some need wealth luxury and heaven after dieing,
but for some it is present with their love in this life
To be happy some need to live in heights,
but for some it is there in their home with their family and faith in god,
To live happily is not bounded in words but it is art of living
making a person happy and winner in life.

Post- History
Mankind......
is a living Hell
There's no Heaven
without...
mankind around
They're the past,
the present,
and the future
genocide.
Can't live
without 'em.
Apart from
the force entry,
their only pleasant,
is making love.
Pre-requisite of life
To live
And let live.

It is not advantageous for Russia in its present state to fight against Chechnya. The army is a mess. It must be made combat ready. That will take time. Russia has a lot of economic, social and political problems much more important than Chechnya.

I Wanna Live
I've been thinking it over
And I know just what to do
I've been thinking it over
And I know I just can't trust myself
I'm a Gypsy prince
Covered with diamonds and jewels
But then my lover exposes me
I know I'm just a damn fool
I give what I've got to give
I give what I need to live
I give what I've got to give
It's important if I want to live
I wanna live
I want to live my life
I wanna live
I want to live my life
As I load my pistol
Fine German steel
I never thought I'd be so down and out
Having my last meal
But I know I can do it
It just took a few years
As I execute my killer
The morning is near
I give what I've got to give
I give what I need to live
I give what I've got to give
It's important if I want to live
I wanna live
I want to live my life
I wanna live
I want to live my life

It has to be real, and I think a lot of the problems we have as a society is because we don't acknowledge that family is important, and it has to be people who are present, you know, and mothers and fathers, both are not present enough with children.

Land Of The Living
i found myself
in another world
i found myself
alive and well
i am the vapor
i am the gas
you be the angel
of everything
this is the land of the living
this is the land of reprisal
this is the land of the living
the living
the living
i lost myself
too wide a plane
i opened up
i'm not the same
i am electric
made of wire
you be the match
i'll be the fire
this is the land of the living
this is the land of reprisal
this is the land of the living
the living
the living
the living
in myself i try for you
walk a thousand miles to get us through
airways
jet planes
safe landings
no branding
land
land
this is the land of the living
the land of reprisal
this is the land of the living
the land of survival
survival
land
land
this is the land of the living
the living
the living
the living
