As freedom-loving people across the globe hope for an end to tyranny, we will never forget the enormous suffering of the Holocaust.

Forget Not the Field
Forget not the field where they perish'd,
The truest, the last of the brave,
All gone -- and the bright hope we cherish'd
Gone with them, and quench'd in their grave!
Oh! could we from death but recover
Those hearts as they bounded before,
In the face of high heaven to fight over
That combat for freedom once more; --
Could the chain for an instant be riven
Which Tyranny flung round us then,
No, 'tis not in Man, nor in Heaven,
To let Tyranny bind it again!
But 'tis past -- and, though blazon'd in story
The name of our Victor may be,
Accurst is the march of that glory
Which treads o'er the hearts of the free.
For dearer the grave or the prison,
Illumed by one patriot name,
Than the trophies of all who have risen
On Liberty's ruins to fame.

I Just Hope I Dont Regert Loving You
i hope you think of me
i hope you miss me
i hope you once loved me
i hope i regret loving you
i hope u remember the jokes u told me and the way you made me laugh
i hope you remember the first time i told you i cared for you
i hope i regret saying i wanna kiss you
i hope you know that i will never love you more
i hope you know that i wanted to forget you
i hope you know that i will never forget what i said
i hope you remember that you said you liked me.

If This Is What Freedom Is About
If this is what freedom is about who would wish to be free
When only of war dead we read and hear about and pictures of death we see
Mothers grieving for their dead children in Iraq their heartbreak with them will stay
Until the Reaper claim them though for them 'twill be a happy day.
Is this what freedom is about when some talk of liberty
For the suffering of others they cannot show empathy
They say to rid you of your tyrant some of your children had to die
But that's the price you pay for democracy so your freedom now enjoy.
If this is what freedom is about then tyranny sounds sweet
A young woman murdered by a suicide bomber bits of her scattered around the Street
For how many years must this go on how many more must die in this way
If this is what freedom is about the price is too much too pay.
Is this what freedom is about a young man without feet
And some even say he is lucky that the Reaper he did cheat
The victim of a roadside bomb now in his mother's care
Do not talk of freedom to the one who sits in his wheelchair.

I Hope for a Day
I hope for a day when people love you for what you are,
whey they are sad they search a friend not a bar.
i hope for a religion that just teaches you love and to forgive hate,
if you want to pray just smile and forget month and date.
i hope for a day when being good is the biggest qualification,
and loving all good and bad the only resolution.
i hope for a day when sun shines and you hear laughther all around you,
and a kid looking up and thinking why is this sky blue?
i hope for a day when maps are clean and earth not broken in countries,
and people finding there home everywhere and not cutting trees.
come close your eyes and hope with me,
pray for humanity and set us free.
you may say i hoping against hope and i am just mad,
i still hope for such a day when god is here, again,
and no one is SAD

Here Pause: The Poet Claims At Least This Praise
HERE pause: the poet claims at least this praise,
That virtuous Liberty hath been the scope
Of his pure song, which did not shrink from hope
In the worst moment of these evil days;
From hope, the paramount 'duty' that Heaven lays,
For its own honour, on man's suffering heart.
Never may from our souls one truth depart--
That an accursed thing it is to gaze
On prosperous tyrants with a dazzled eye;
Nor--touched with due abhorrence of 'their' guilt
For whose dire ends tears flow, and blood is spilt,
And justice labours in extremity--
Forget thy weakness, upon which is built,
O wretched man, the throne of tyranny!

Whose Freedom?
Freedom, freedom, freedom!
Whose freedom?
My freedom, your freedom, our freedoms;
Like e thousand times of a cry in a land!
Yes, they rule with iron-hand but,
We have to obey always;
A rule with an iron fist but,
We have to be the subjects always;
Whose freedom?
Look around you,
It is full of colours;
My freedom, your freedom, their freedoms!
Freedom, freedom, freedom! ! !
We nedd freedom than these shackles.
Whose freedom?
Free-free-free! Freedom to my people! !
Which people?
My people, your people, our peoples;
Have mercy on them and rule them with care.
We need freedom around us,
Whose freedom?
See the type of governments around you;
The people's freedom with an iron fist!
Tell me if all is well.

The response
I wrote a poem about the holocaust
and then I had a dream that I was there
among the broken and the lost
I was watching as they walked to there deaths
but they were smileing and waving at me
like they had no worrys or regrets
My hand out streched
my knees planted in the snow
I grabbed for them
but it was like they wanted to go
The last guy before my dream came to an end
seemed to wisper to me
its okay your our freind
I awoke all frightened and ashamed
about what I had written
did I use there suffering in vain
But I think it was a sign to tell me good
job you did not forget us up here with god
So I thought about what should I write back
I hope its good or I will be getting a response back.

The Doom Dungeon
From the merciless hands of the rulers to the ruled,
The wind of oppression blow stilly into flesh and bones
So many the minds of plebeians quailed out;
Thus no hope in their faith and amidst many I the orator,
And fears from my eyes like a woman's to fellow plebeians.
In the darkest expires many air in speechless state of mind
But the system is called the freedom of people, by the people and for the people
Yet they keep watch o'er us fierce remote animals in attempt of our freedom,
And I the press given to the freedom of oppression, death and doom.
In speechless will I never expire like fellow plebs,
And not even the zombies will I fear and be speechless.
I speak freedom, equity, fairness against oppression, death and doom;
And unto the dungeon they transited me with their remote machinery
As they could not put out the fire of life in me;
And with their merciless power has dug dungeon for my freedom;
With no one whom I could communicate my thoughts to,
And no one to sympathize with my state of suffering.
But as the day passes, familiar became I with the narrow limit
Which my wandering had been confined,
Alas, bitterly I felt the state of my captivity.
O freedom! O freedom! O freedom! Thou art not as press dreams;
Woe to the hands that dug this doom dungeon.

People Need Love
People need hope, people need loving
People need trust from a fellow man
People need love to make a good living
People need faith in a helping hand
Man has always wanted a woman by his side to keep him company
Women always knew that it takes a man to get matrimonial harmony
Everybody knows that a man whos feeling down wants some female sympathy
Gotta have love to carry on living
Gotta have love till eternity
People need hope, people need loving
People need trust from a fellow man
People need love to make a good living
People need faith in a helping hand
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la la
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la laa...
Flowers in the desert need a drop of rain like a woman needs her man
If a mans in love and his woman wants the moon
Then hell it down if he can
Somebody who loves you and somebody who cares
Isnt that what youd call a friend?
Gotta have love to carry on living
You can have peace if you understand
People need hope, people need loving
People need trust from a fellow man
People need love to make a good living
People need faith in a helping hand
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la la
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la laa...
People need hope, people need loving
People need trust from a fellow man
People need love to make a good living
People need faith in a helping hand
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la la
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la laa...
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la la
La la la la, la la la la-la, la la la la la la la-la la laa...

Ukraine is now on the front line of the war — global war — of freedom against tyranny. The war the free world didn't want to admit existed. It cannot be ignored any longer. Brave Ukrainians are fighting like hell and dying right now to remind us not to take liberty for granted. Putin, like every dictator before him, underestimated the free will of free people. They deserve every weapon, every resource to win this war. Because they're fighting for us. Not only for the whole and free Ukraine. ... This is not chess. This is not a battle between opposite colors, but of opposite values. Freedom, life and love versus tyranny, death and hatred. This is not chess. But sometimes things are black and white. Sometimes you have to fight for what you believe. Or you lose it. This is not chess. There are no draws, no compromises in our battle with true evil. It's win or lose. And so we must fight. And so we must win. Slava Ukraini! Glory to Ukraine. Glory to freedom.

Vexation
S
Always the same with anger against us,
War for freedom sounds insane.
Torture ended
And began with a vengeance,
War and freedom became the same.
J
War and freedom is not the same girl
Where did you get that sill rot?
War is when cruel words are spoken
Love is when cruel words are not
S
But hate is always thrown against us,
With war and freedom cast the same
Hard to see
Where one war ended,
Clear when freedom began to wane.
J
Freedom didn’t wane my dear
Look around at the way we are
It’s a do as you like world now I fear
Freedom’s moved so very far
S
But freedom has lost its very nature
Its do as your told, not do as you like
We all follow
And the tyranny holds us,
Freedom to war has taken flight
J
This world has fallen victim friend
To the youth who have turned it rotten
Forget the wars and look for the cause
Of a generation long forgotten
S
It's not our youth, or those long past
Ripping freedom from it's nature,
It's our fault
And we must end it,
No need to have a fascist future.
J
If all the world could debate like this
If communication did still exist
Then all would have an equal stand
For there’s still enough love
In our great land

If I Forget...
If I forget to tell you just how much you mean to me,
I hope that you will remember while you're not here with me.
If I forget to tell you that you are my world and more,
I hope that you will remember what I'm waiting for.
If I forget to tell you I want you in my life,
I hope that you will remember that I'm always by your side.
If I forget to tell you I love you more than words,
I hope that you will remember regardless of the hurt.
If I forget to tell you I'm sorry for my mistakes,
I hope that you will remember with every one I make.
If I forget to tell you no other can compare,
I hope that you will remember the love that we both share.
If I forget to tell you I miss you every day,
I hope that you will remember that forever I'm going to stay.
Whether I say these words to you,
or wait until you are here with me,
I will show you this forever,
and these words will have no need.

A Freedom
we used to be slaved (true)
we used to to work in the heat (true)
we were treated unfairly by our master (true)
A freedom
it's a freedom of liberty
a freedom to stay strong and fight
A freedom
no more pain
no more suffering
no more heat
no more scars on our body
A freedom
It's a freedom for a lifetime
A freedom

It seems to be that when these communist regimes take over - if you look at the example of Vietnam or Cambodia or Nicaragua - that even in conditions of peace they don't seem to be able to figure out how to support their people, and the human suffering is enormous.

Affinity
to say that i have a deep affinity for the Tibetan
people would be correct... but i also have a deep
affinity for all oppressed peoples.
for too long Americans have been insulated from
the hurt and suffering experienced around the world.
now it's come home to haunt us!
we can never forget: as long as anyone is hungry, we
are hungry. as long as anyone is struggling for freedom,
we are struggling for freedom. as long as anyone is
in need, we are in need. as long as anyone lives in
poverty, we are poor!

Those are serious questions of war and peace, of freedom or tyranny, whether or not there is ever going to be a hope of us instilling some democratic systems in a part of the world that frankly is breeding hate and destruction directed right at us.
I'm On Your Time
