How I Escaped From Despair Today
HOW I ESCAPED FROM MY DESPAIR TODAY
No great thought or sudden revelation,
No major meeting or act of friendship,
No revelation of Love,
No great Surprise of Joy,
Nothing great at all-

Cleaning the house,

Nothing More Nor Is There Anything Less
I am quite simple.
And I guess in that basicness,
There is a complexity some wish to see.
I have no hidden agenda.
No ego to massage.
I too concern myself,
With a degrading quality of life.
I wish I had powers to make that right.

It's love, It's hate
Two opposites, two extremes
Two emotions that overwhelm
Two emotions that can tear you apart.
Love and Hate
So different
Yet so much the same
As one falls in love
It can be a beautiful thing
But as hate sets in
Prepare for the sting
They can both hold you back
They can tear away dreams
But if you keep them in track
They become a perfect team
Don't fall too far in the depths of love
Don't get caught too long in the clutches of hate

Why am I so philosophical, a philosopher a long time ago once wrote.
The song writer, script writer, poet and novelist like to use a great quote.
Some poems are written with a catchy rhyme and a theme.
A well crafted word can help and be a great writers dream.
Everyone knows that the pen is mightier than the sword.
A well crafted word can give the reader great reward.
'A metaphor is just like a simile'; An unknown author once quoted.
It's true about all writers I know, they all hate their words being misquoted.
To writers one and all, a well crafted word is always a must to write down.
Just remember this about all writers, they can make great use of a pronoun.

Let Me Go Into Snow
Audacity to live with your demons,
putting up a fake love belief,
who was the time,
of that dark night? Distinctly alive to what
I was not just putting up the shades of death
into nothingness of peace in war.
Searching for self in capacious hope,
was it the half-light of a moon,
slipped on the words of a hoisted grief?
A wild truth was better than silken ribbons
of fabricated lies. I am tired of playing
games on the turf of synthetic desires.
It would be time again, for what was time,
encapsulated in crazy dialogues of taking on
a chaste enemy. I will give my life for
a bright red rose in absence of sun, drenched
in fire and burning in dew drops, for the
flowering of melting snow.
