Every man should follow the bent of his nature in art and letters, always provided that he does not offend against the rules of morality and good taste.

A Great Player!
Is man playing with Nature?
Or Nature playing with man?
Man by his mind wants all;
He wants all under his control.
But can man control Nature?
Action and reaction are equal!
The more man plays with Nature
The more Nature replies by play!
Winter snow is too much for man;
Summer heat is too much for man;
Why have they become too much?
Man has meddled with resources
Nature has provided for man
And the reaction of Nature is high!
Rules of game man has to learn;
Then only he can win in the game;
Until then Nature is the great player!

Taste is not only a part and index of morality, it is the only morality. The first, and last, and closest trial question to any living creature is What do you like Tell me what you like, I'll tell you what you are.

Rules
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Don't pick up a pencil and put it back down
Don't leave a piece of paper blank for long
Don't look out the window and just wish
Do whatever you're wishing
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Don't use your friends for anything but friendship
Don't turn your back and just let the boat tip
Don't imitate what others are doing
Do whatever you would do
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Shape your life in your own kind of art
Whether it be paintings, sculptures, or music
You are yourself, not someone else
Be yourself
If I Offend, So Be It
If I offend...
So be it!
I am not here,
To be the 'next' James Baldwin.
Or follow in the footsteps,
Of Langston Hughes.
The shoes I wear are quite comfortable.
And the path I walk upon,
Has not already been paved.
That is the task that has be laid before me.
To do that myself!
If I offend...
So be it!
I am not living my life intending to be anyone else,
Than who I am.
I am the first Lawrence S. Pertillar.
And make no mistake about it...
I will be acknowledged,
For the life I've lived.
If I offend...
So be it!
I just know who it is I am.
And I am not who I am because I seek to get paid for it!
Like most folks lost and deluded,
By the meaning of 'identity'.
I've been blessed and I am grateful...
To have a dignity as well.
And 'if' I offend...
So be it!
There's so many others,
Who have minds associated with making a quick buck.
And people like that...
Are indoctrinated with corrupted agendas!

Wild at Heart - Gloriana
Down a back road,
Long, hot summer,
A couple kids runnin' loose and wild.
He kissed her,
She said mister,
Take an inch and I'll give you a mile.
I ain't here to do anything half-way,
Don't give a dang what anyone might say,
I just wanna free fall for a while.
That rebel moon is shinin',
Those stars burn like diamonds,
Heck bent on chasin' down that crazy spark(slide) .
I'll follow you where you're leading,
To the first sweet taste of freedom,
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart.
About midnight, he tells her,
I ain't got no come-on lines.
Well I love you, or I'll try to,
We got nothing to lose but time.
Stick your hand into my back pocket,
Light me up like a bottle rocket,
I just wanna free fall for a while.
That rebel moon is shinin',
Those stars burn like diamonds,
Heck bent on chasin' down that crazy spark(slide) .
I'll follow you where you're leadin',
To the first sweet taste of freedom,
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart.
O-oh, alright,
Tonight is tellin' us we're way too young.
O-oh, that's alright,
I've got forever on the tip of my tongue.
That rebel moon is shinin',
Those stars burn like diamonds,
Heck bent on chasin' down that crazy spark(slide) .
I'll follow you where you're leading,
To the first sweet taste of freedom,
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart.
That rebel moon is shinin',
Those stars burn like diamonds.
Heck bent on chasin' down that crazy spark(slide) .
I'll follow you where you're leading,
To the first sweet taste of freedom,
You got me runnin' baby,
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart.
O-oh, alright.

The Heaven Broker
I am the GOOD I set you free
I conquer the evil, follow me and you’ll see
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me in each bee
I am the GOOD I let you MATURE
LOVE and PEACE are my nature
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me in each feature
I am the GOOD, I let you WISE
I fight against hypocrisy and lies
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me in each Exact Sunrise
I am the GOOD, from the sins I am the preventive
I wipe away your hurts, just be my captive
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me from the beginning I am native
I am the GOOD, search, explore, you’ll find me in your inside
In the deep of your inner, I am sinking, help me, I am your Pride
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me when natural acts to me they guide
I am the GOOD, I emancipate you from the TEMPTATION, from the DESIRE
I keep your Inner PEACE, I am the King of your Peaceful empire
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me when the RAIN quenches the FIRE
I am the GOOD, Don’t hesitate, follow me, I am your Special Fair Law;
Peace, Love, Care, Tolerance, Respect and Faith are my Rational Draw
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me when you conceive the CREATOR Perfection, there is no flaw
Right, left, up and down, meditate me I am the NATURE, I am the LOVE
One only CREATOR can do that absolutely He Is Above …
Contemplate NATURE, you’ll find me when all living beings praise Trees, Seas, Bees, Ants and Doves…
I am the GOOD, I am the BELIEVER, your HEAVEN Ticket I’ll pay
I am the TRUTH of each year, month and day,
I head your FAITH to the RIGHT way
If you contemplate me, you would touch me everyday
I show you my signs, I am the Moon light and the Sun Ray
JUST CONTMPLATE NATURE, I'LL BE THERE, IN EVERY WAY

Rules are laid down by fools.
Rules are followed by fools.
Rules are bent by the clever

Global Warning
GLOBAL WARNING
The earth rose out of chaos,
the earth was alone,
God provided man to earth
both of them started living harmoniously
man loved nature
nature provided man everything
man won the world through science
reached on moon
forgot the earth
engulfed in new materialistic pleasures
forgot ozone layer
done the nuclear explosion
increased pollution
filled the earth with dust and smoke
forgot nature
global warming is increasing
the survival of man is decreasing

Law
Law is the actual good resulting from ill-health.
Law has meaning on a master of the wealth.
Law can collect a prize for those who have self.
Law decides for the people who live with stealth.
Law kept us with morality and rules to bath.
Law is a nice appearance for the fearful ones.

To A Poor Old Woman
munching a plum on
the street a paper bag
of them in her hand
They taste good to her
They taste good
to her. They taste
good to her
You can see it by
the way she gives herself
to the one half
sucked out in her hand
Comforted
a solace of ripe plums
seeming to fill the air
They taste good to her

Please understand
Have a little consideration
For my unpoetic
Choice of words
I know they are not
To your liking
Your taste is
Professiorial chair-like poetry
Distinguished literati
We are different
You write in the name
Of literature
Perhaps for a prize
You really have to follow
What the awards committee
Says in the rules
Follow page one
Do not disregard page two
And the last rule is
Do no deviate
Do not be a deviant man of
Literature of poetry
Of music
To their ears
I write because I do not know
How to live anymore.
This is a life-death situation
And there are no rules
No specific authorized physician
For this sick, dying man
Those that heal, come
Those that know how to heal, you are welcome.
Tersely put, I write in order to
Live everyday of my life.
Not for fame, not for honor
Not for a chart, they are not necessary.
I have no use of such. Give it to the Lady or the
Gentleman out there, who is grappling with a name
Not with life.

The masses demand a fighting President, and that means you've got to offend somebody, because the way I see it, a strong offense is the best attack. So what can you offend? That's an easy one. Offend the other candidates, because they'll be too busy talking to hear you, and besides, they might not vote for you anyway.

Why Do We Need Rules For Poetry?
Why do we need rules for poetry?
Let's make a Haiku with ten lines and one hundred syllables.
Let's make a limerick with ten lines, and not rhyme it.
Let's just do whatever the hell we want to do.
After all it's yourself that you want to express,
Do whatever the hell you want to.
You don't have to listen to anyone.
You don't have to follow rules.
After all you say it's acceptable now.
This is modern poetry,
I am not governed by archaic rules, put forth,
By men and women thousands of miles away,
Or in some foreign country.
I am me, I will do as I wish, and no rules apply to me.
Why do we need rules for poetry?
Beats me.

How Do You Like Me Now
Coming from a distance,
You picked me to offend...
And,
How do you like me now?
You believed my wrists,
Were limp and bent...
But,
How do you like me now?
You thought it would be easy,
To spit in my face.
And you thought that the doing,
Would humiliate.
But all you did was show me...
Who to boot,
To the the curb.
And I showed you,
You shouldn't pick your battles with someone...
Accustomed to fighting in dirt with the dirty.
And...
How do you like me now?
And...
How do you like me now!
Coming from a distance,
You picked me to offend...
And,
How do you like me now?
You believed my wrists,
Were limp and bent...
But,
How do you like me now?
