To His Defense

To his defense, I understand the problem that is at hand.
To his defense, I understand the turmoil behind all of this.
To his defense, you'll never live the life he has endured.
To his defense, judge, I object to the inaccuracies you are spewing forth.
Be prepared to kill two birds with one stone.

Anxiety rises about the room.
As the swine feeds on frozen hearts.
A sign of treason ascends in my thoughts.
My conscience was right, the traitor exposed.

To his defense, there must be a reason for all the things he has done.
To his defense, it could easily be a coincidence.
To his defense, look at him now.
He's happier than I'll ever become.
To his defense, theres no defense.
No toleration for betrayal.

Guns and their shadows

Under guns and their shadows
amidst men and women and children
life spirit lessens,
innocence suffers,
dream dies,
expectation extincts.

Under guns and their shadows
amidst men and women and children
hopes become horrors,
desires become despairs,
trust becomes tenions,
smiles become sighs.

Under guns and their shadows
amidst men and women and children
word means whispers,
home means house,
homeland means ex land,
freedom means fantasy.

Under guns and their shadows
amidst men and women and children
life still goes on,
some where a force moves on,
binding and blending every one
for guns can spit only fires and not lives.

Killers Of Harmony

Intolerance is a violence.
Hording is a form of stealing
It is these which kill harmony.

Could This Be Magic?

Out upon the islands on a cool summer night,
Buddy, you dont got to hurry. take your time.
What you need is on the menu and you get it tonight.
Buddy, you got womens on your mind.
Could this be magic,
Or could this be love?
Could this turn tragic?
You know that magic often does.
And I see lonely ships upon the water.
Better save the women and children first.
Sail away with someones daughter.
Better save the women and children first.
I hear music on the landin, and theres laughter in the air.
Just could be your boat is comin in.
Yeah, youre leanin back, and your foots tappin and you got your head right.
Theres a full moon out tonight. baby, lets begin.
Could this be magic,
Or could this be love?
Could this turn tragic?
You know that magic often does.
And I see lonely ships upon the water.
Better save the women and children first.
Sail away with someones daughter.
Better save the women and children first.

In The Name Of Freedom...

we give a young man a gun,
and tell him to go kill in
the name of freedom...
we assure him that God is
on his side.
and he goes and kills and
commits atrocious acts of
violence...
and the defense contracts
grow, we secure more oil...
the war machine feeds itself!

this young man comes home to no job,
no real future, limited benefits,
and pretty much no help.
and he has to try to sleep at
night, hearing the cries and
the screams of the dying, of
women and children...

freedom? bullshit!
a license to kill?
who is the murderer here?
the young man put on the altar?
or the faceless ones who sent him?

I Shot The Sheriff

By bob marley
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy.
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy.
All around in my home town
Theyre trying to track me down.
They say they want to bring me in guilty
For the killing of a deputy,
For the life of a deputy.
But I say:
I shot the sheriff, but I swear it was in self-defense.
I shot the sheriff, and they say it is a capital offense.
Sheriff john brown always hated me;
For what I dont know.
Every time that I plant a seed
He said, kill it before it grows.
He said, kill it before it grows.
I say:
I shot the sheriff, but I swear it was in self-defense.
I shot the sheriff, but I swear it was in self-defense.
Freedom came my way one day
And I started out of town.
All of a sudden I see sheriff john brown
Aiming to shoot me down.
So I shot, I shot him down.
I say:
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy.
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy.
Reflexes got the better of me
And what is to be must be.
Every day the bucket goes to the well,
But one day the bottom will drop out,
Yes, one day the bottom will drop out.
But I say:
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy, oh no.
I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy, oh no.

Man Vs Wild! .

snake slithered fast across the land,
through earthen clods and burrows,
moving smooth and fast, held its head
lowered, eyes fixed on target the frog,
took the shortest path, to get on fast.

the man stood in its path holding a club
arrogance writ on his face and weapon,
quickly did the snake abandon its plan
of 'least offense' went in for plan-2
'offense one', and held up its head high,
spread its face wide, fierce and shining
eyes fixed on target, alert, heard nothing
and saw nothing, only the enemy in range.

snake now swayed its head, surveyed
and locked target with confidence, while
man too quickly changed his strategy
in a dramatic way, and took to heels! .

I believe the war on terror is the vital discussion of this decade and of our generation, probably. To win the war on terror, you need a good offense and a good defense. On defense, I regret to say, basically, this administration has not come close to doing what is necessary.

1899-1902 (Cavatina Sequence) (In Answer To A. E. Housman)

From the Orange Free State to the Transvaal
farms and towns burn,
from concentration camps women, children,
do not return,
up in the hillocks European farmers fight;
not taciturn
Emily Hobhouse does expose some ills,
many innocents the British do kill.

Hard driven men who read the word of God
fight very brave,
hear the British sing their God save their Queen;
they cannot save
some twenty thousand women and children,
but they do crave
for freedom and for a place of their own,
are forced to swear loyal to the crown.

After that bitter war they have to sing
'God save the queen, '
return to decimated farms and towns,
their pain unseen,
impoverished they make a living,
for peace are keen;
to today their kinsmen do not forget,
in God's record His punishment is set.

Women, Teach Men Your Gentleness

Is it men or women who work the
most in slaughterhouses?
Is it men or women who are

Is it men or women who commit
the most rapes?
Is it men or women who
vote for the most executions?
Is it men or women who promote
war, vote for war, kill in war?
Is it men or women who as
'talk show hosts' allow no talk?
Is it men or women who
are more often pedophiles?
Is it men or women who torture
lab animals more?

Writer asks forgiveness of old soul men reading this poem.
As an attorney for the defense exaggerates and is selective
in what she presents, so it is with this poem.

It is the teaching of several religions and the belief of the poster
that we go back and forth between male and female incarnations
as we spiral down the inner ladder to the Indwelling God

The military and hunting organizations socialize gentle men into
believing they must murder voiceless powerless beings in order
to prove their masculinity. It is a lie from hell.

Save Your Love

(jerry lynn williams)
Producer for bonnie: gene capel
I've always wandered alone
Afraid and on my own
But up till now i'd think of you
Memories lost and regained
Seemed to refrain me
On days that weren't quite so blue
*save your love
Like it means the world to you
'cause that's exactly what
Your love means to me
It's like a spirit lost
And finally set free
Come on and save your love
Save your love for me
You upped and told me your feelings
Hiding down deep within
Where do i begin
So i'll keep on singing this song
Hope you'll sing along
Then maybe someday we'll be friends
(* repeat 2 times)
Save your love, oh yeah
Save your love
Come on and save your love
Save your love for me
Save your love, save your love
Come on and save your love
Save your love for me
(* repeat)
Save your love
Oh save your love
Save your love, oh yeah yeah
Save your love
Save your love
Come on and save your love
Save your love...

Enemy Of All

A father is the enemy
When he left unpaid debts
A foolish son is the enemy of
His parents
A beautiful wife is the enemy of
Her husband
A mother with loose character
Is the enemy of her children
A greedy corrupt and notorious king
Is the enemy of the country men
O friend, remember
If you are not doing any good deeds
Beneficial to others you are the enemy
Of your soul and enemy of you
As you are destroying yourself
As your same soul is there in the body of all.

Lonely Soldier And An Enemy

The soldier cleaned his gun in anticipation
for the battle he would be fighting. His mind

was focused on his job. His heart was centred
on his illusions. Lonely soldier in a uniform

without a mind of his own. His officers
received their orders from somewhere else,

from men and women who were fighting a
war of greed. Death was nothing more then

a statistic which would be tabulated and
toned down for the media. Not good to let

the world know the actual cost of human
life in the adventure. A tear fell from his

eyes at the thought of how many men he
had killed. He remembered sitting in his kitchen

talking to his wife and making plans for
the future. That was until somebody

somewhere far away had determined
the future was not his to plan. So he worked

at his task in mind of constant wonder at
the waste he was trained to create. His

entire purpose in life was to kill and so he
killed as best he could. The faces of the

enemy reminded him of himself. Other men
who had sat at home with their wives talking

about their futures together. Such a waste of
young ambition by the old men and women who

sat comfortable in the governments of life.
Lonely soldier surrounded by his comrades

all of whom equally trained to hate and kill.
Ah, but the bands would play and the magic

of hero dust would fall upon the shoulders
of the men at arms. How brave they would

be in the battle with their blood splattered
all over their clean uniforms. The solider knew

he fought for a cause but it was odd that
the cause was never quite explained, save

for speeches on freedom and destruction
and illusions of happiness when the enemy

were all dead. Lonely soldier was startled by
an enemy as he cleaned his gun. The two

men glared at one another wondering who
would die first. Soldier and enemy came to

a major decision. Each stripped off their clothes
and stood naked in front of one another.

Two naked men. Without their uniforms.
Now which of them was the enemy?

Kill Somebody

This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
When the boys cry, in the morning light
And they take their guns and leave their girls and step outside
And they all feel blue, ´cause theyre waiting still
For the enemy on the other side theyre going to kill
You better kill somebody, you better kill somebody
You better kill somebody, you better kill somebody
You better kill
When the bombers come, with the rising sun
And the dreams of glory and blue eyed heros all have gone
On the other side sits the enemy
And Im sure he wont invite for a cup of tea

Out Of Control

No offense!
But defense mechanisms,
Have yet to be invented.

When stupid people,
Exhibit an excessive stupidity...
Consistent with ignorance,
That numbs the common sense...
Of anyone holding onto beliefs,
There is not an epidemic...
That has arrived and secretly released.
CAUTION!
Something we can not see,
Affects us as we breathe toxins in the air.

Many are dismissing this,
As if this is a fashion statement.
Something on the scene that attracts all human beings.
With no reprieve!
Like infectious laughter.

Quit!
And examine this for what it is.
A passing fad this isn't.

This...
Is becoming accepted behavior.
This...
Has potential to craze and manipulate.
This...
Is madness personified.
This...
Is more threatening,
Than identified terrorists...
Said to be at our doorsteps.
Operating from distant shores...
To impose themselves upon our interests.
This...
Is a reflection,
Of what has been tolerated.
This...
Is not a passing sickness.
With a cure to be announced...
Between sexual aids marketed on TV.
This...
Is a disease that is spreading.
And out,
Of control...
It is!

No offense!
But defense mechanisms,
Have yet to be invented.

Stupidity it is!
And out,
Of control.
