I care for riches, to make gifts To friends, or lead a sick man back to health With ease and plenty. Else small aid is wealth For daily gladness once a man be done With hunger, rich and poor are all as one.

Today’s world is filled
Today’s world is filled
with sadness and hunger
and some are poor
and without any food
and some are deadly sick
and dying from Aids.
Today’s world is filled
with gladness and overwhelming riches
and some have cars and houses
and live like kings
and wait for the opportunities
that life brings.
Somewhere the rich and the poor meet
and I pray
that somehow some sanity
change the way,
that destiny play its game
and that everyone
will be a brother
and a sister and a son
to each other.

You Are Heading For An Almighty Fall
As the millions starve the rich saunter on,
They don't have a care in the world,
The millionaires laugh sipping tea on the lawn,
As their luxury yacht is unfurled.
Why should they care is their line of thought,
It's not our fault the children die,
In their sick life anything can be bought,
Why with nature should they have to comply?
They think they're above the likes of us,
Despite us making them rich,
Feeling superior gives them a buzz,
They'd walk past if you were lying in a ditch.
In reality they're no different from you or me,
Cut their skin and they'll all surely bleed,
They will suffer ill health; they still need to pee,
For companionship they have a need.
Take their money away they would soon disappear,
Their finance is a powerful tool,
Left with nothing they'd soon be living in fear,
Being poor they would say is uncool.
They put wealth over health which so unwise,
Thinking money is the ultimate cure,
All being equal everyone dies,
Of that fact even they can be sure.
As with all life we live and we age,
Animosity against that becomes rife,
That very thought puts them all in a rage,
Why can't their riches buy longer life?
Everlasting life is the patent of God,
His kingdom is open to us all,
If with avarice you've become overawed,

Tragic in the World.
If you can learn from all the tragic in the world
You can come out as a winner.
But, only if you find the true Spirit, humbleness,
Appreciation for all life, with the great faith in goodness.
Not in fear, tragic or just in a poor survival,
Learn to see the great riches everywhere,
Do not believe in shortage
See how many stars are in the sky,
How many grain of sand all around,
How many grass comes up, even in impossible
places.
Even how much money is wasted by the governments.
If you are in this moment in the middle of it, do not
dwell on fear,
But keep telling yourself: 'I'll go through this & I open my mind
For plenty (or health or happiness) .
When you believe this, somehow life will bring lessons
To achieve your dream
Be patient, follow your feelings.
If one can see the riches of this Earth,
Eventually will be able to attract a great deal
It is not men who gives the income,
But everything comes from the treasury of the Spirit
This is how the rich people attracts theirs
Same time how the poor are loosing even what they have.
By only Faith in good or bad.
Remember:
'The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.'
What can be done?
Let go, relax, stop fighting against the wind,
Open your mind for beauty, harmony, plenty,
No matter where you are.
But do not tell Spirit that you Want a mansion or a diamond.
Anyway, life gives you what you need to your next lesson,
And not what You want.
You have a choice.

Health and Wealth
When I had health, I strived to earn more wealth;
I toiled so hard that I soon lost my health!
When I got wealth, more vice crept in by stealth;
My wealth was gone, so also my good health!
So, keep your health and earn some wealth;
Don't earn more wealth and lose all health;
Just use your wealth to keep your health;
In life on earth, Health is your wealth!

Our Riches
We came onto this earth and we met money!
But we will die one day and leave it all;
Because i have never seen a rich person being buried with his or her money!
Our riches of this world,
The rich are not even buried with their best car! !
So if we are rich today,
Let us use it wisely to help the poor around us;
Because we will all die one day without the riches following us.
The poor will always be around us,
So it is better to gain heaven than hell!
And it is better to love one another than hate,
For we cannot be buried with all our riches!
And it is better to give than to receive.

From Boethius: De Consolatione Philosophiae; Book II. Metre 2.
Though countless as the grains of sand
That roll at Eurus' loud command;
Though countless as the lamps of night
That glad us with vicarious light;
Fair plenty, gracious queen, should pour
The blessings of a golden shower,
Not all the gifts of fate combin'd
Would ease the hunger of the mind,
But swallowing call the mighty store,
Rapacity would call for more;
For still where wishes most abound
Unquench'd the thirst of gain is found;
In vain the shining gifts are sent,
For none are rich without content.

Cardiac
A mattock high he swung;
I watched him at his toil;
With never gulp of lung
He gashed the ruddy soil.
Thought I, I'd give my wealth
To have his health.
With fortune I would part,
And privilege resign,
Could I but have his heart,
And he have mine . . .
Then suddenly I knew
My wish was true.
Like him I swung: with awe
He marked my steady breath.
Then suddenly I saw
That he was sick to death.
My heart in him was frail
And seemed to fail.
Said I: 'Take back your heart
And I will bear with mine.
Poor lad! All wealth apart
'Tis murder I design,
Not all a Nabob's wealth
Is worth your health.'

Health Deteriorated
Health deteriorated and nobody care it.
And we say health is wealth.
The health worker the doctor all paid
And the patients died
And all are apathetic towards health.
In this Hitech age cholera measeales
Malaria are the cause of our death.
Common man died due to diseases
Died due to hunger due to neglect
By our own man and we all remain silent.

Carrot & Stick
So, Greece is out of money?
It'd make you sick,
It makes me sick.
Now Germany is supposed to pay
For the rich man's honey?
It'd make you sick,
It makes me sick.
The rich men get the carrots,
The poor men get the stick!
It makes me sick!

Poor Folks Town
The work is hard and the hours are long
The money aint much but we get along
Were rich in things can give
That cant be bought with a dollar bill
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no carpets on the floor
Weve got wall to wall love
Who could ask for more
We got no big fine things to show
Just a place to watch our children grow
We got no big fine fancy car to drive
And no fancy clothes to keep in style
What weve got were payin on
But its mostly love that were livin on
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
Weve got a little simple church nearby
And the promise of a mansion in the sky
A heart of gold a million dollar smile
And a one way ticket to paradise
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town

Sonnet: Trust Not the Rich
The world is large but people’s minds are small!
They do not trust the God who loves man much;
They blunder often, repeatedly fall;
They want their hands to have the ‘golden touch’!
Beware of nations rich with much resource;
They lead the world in every field they choose;
They steer the poorer ones clearly off-course,
And hang their economy’s neck by noose!
The world today doesn’t care for poorer men;
The rich usurp all pow’r and ill-treat rest;
They neglect downtrodden and poor brethren;
The poor can’t rise although being the best.
Don’t trust the rich but stay independent;
The rich make slaves out of those dependent!

Rich and Poor
In me a sense has felt like each,
One causes others to wonder of strange beliefs,
In a feeding are the poor,
Poor are the opposite of the Rich.
In this side of the valley,
The Rich are better at living,
In opposition to the laughter
Of the Poor.
Poor is not Rich,
And Rich carries no Wealth
Of Heavenly Times.

Memories of Youth
Memories of youth are emerging, desisting, then reemerging,
Fully apt for the taking, magically presented by the mind.
Youth is a wonderful endeavour of the rich, the blamed,
Who struck their riches in health as well as wealth.
Health is far superior to the strength of a business,
This business is sick and final, working like a trick.
We describe fully a general air, a young memory of worth,
This joy brings full dreaming and dreams so splendid a spectacle,
We enjoy themselves, the dreams are forcing their way through
Like a soldier of strong bravery, the worst enemy is against him.

Groomed To Be Used
God is grooming both me and you, for tasks prepared for men to do.
The Lord may not use all to preach, to those that He wants to reach.
As you’re thrusted into daily scenes, He may choose another means,
To reach many others with the Love, of Christ The Savior up above.
Remember God created everyone, in the likeness of Christ His Son,
And The Lord knows all our abilities, and He knows all of our frailties.
The Lord has given gifts to us all, some are big and some are small,
And The Lord will only use your gifts, in your life as the situation fits.
My friend, God will not force anyone, into service for Christ His Son,
But as you make yourself available, you can become a perfect tool,
A tool fitted for The Master’s hand, used to help others understand,
All about God’s gift of Eternal Life, given to all men by Jesus Christ.
God can use something very small, to touch a heart of a needy soul,
With only a comforting word or two, from caring men like me and you.
Simply go about your normal day, while allowing God to lead the way,
The Lord will lead right to a door, using you to share about your Lord.
You could help the blind man see, Christ is his only hope for Eternity.
Friend what is small in our eyes, is used by God to make others wise.
You may think that your gift is small, but with God, it is not that at all.
You’ll be surprised what He can do, with willing men like me and you.

Money Ain’t God
Money is not God,
Albeit good health and great wealth
Will put a commoner in the position to afford
The most luxurious amenities on earth.
God is wealth;
Good health
Is the richest gift
That can be bestowed on a chief.
Money is like a gaud;
It is a fraud
To think that money is God.
A King or a Queen, without good health,
Is sinking at the bottom;
He or she is dead, indeed worthless.
A penniless pauper, with great health,
Is wealthier than one can fathom;
He or she is darn blessed.
God is wealth;
God is health;
Money ain’t God;
Money ain’t God.
Good health and great wealth
Are like divine gifts;
Adding a little wisdom and a good heart,
Such combo will put a cherub on a celestial lift,
Where life is wonderful and set apart.
God is wealth;
Good health
Is the richest gift
That can be bestowed on a chief.
Money is like a gaud,
It is a fraud
To think that money is God.

The Very Thing That Makes You Rich
My father told me, lying on his bed of death,
"boy," he says, "woman she's gonna make it, don't fool your self
'cause she's got something to make a man lay that money, uh, right in her hand
And the very thing that makes her rich will make you poor
The very thing that makes her rich will make you poor"
That's right!
Well, i put you behind the wheel of a deuce and a quarter, yes i did
Had you living like a rich man's daughter, yes i did, i sure did
While you were living high on the hog
You had me down here scuffling like a dog
Well, the very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Don't you never ever make such a bad mistake
You know i'd rather climb into bed with a rattlesnake
Then to work hard every day bringing that woman all my pay
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor,
Makes me so damn poor
The thing that makes her rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich make me poor
Very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Makes me so damned poor
Money won't change it, no no...

Song XXX. The Lovely Brown Maid
When May--scented zephyrs breathe gladness around,
Enliv'ning the meadow and grove,
And in each mossy cottage Contentment is found,
Crown'd with health, peace, retirement, and love;
Then far from the village the swains they retire,
At noon to the lonely sweet shade;
Grant me Health, rosy Health, all I ask and desire,
With a smile from my lovely brown maid.
When my flocks bleat around me upon the wide plain,
Contented I lie at my ease;
And at eve I retire, free from sorrow and pain,
To enjoy the soft fragrant breeze:
When music and gladness are heard thro' the grove,
By moonlight I steal from the shade,
And o'er hills and deep valleys unheeded I rove,
For a smile from my lovely brown maid.
Each morn I rise happy, each night I lie down
With a heart free from envy and care;
In my plain humble cottage, far from the gay town
With my neighbours each comfort I share:
I envy no monarch, I boast not of wealth,
No troubles my cot e'er invade:
All the blessings I ask is the blessing of health,
And a smile from my lovely brown maid.

Me for Me
If i was not rich would you love me
Would you love me on my own
Without all the riches without my thrown
Would you kiss me if i were a toad
Or would you be searched for a higher road
Would you of loved me if i was not a king
If i had nothing not a thing
Would you still love me in sickness and health
If i give up everything including wealth
I believe you love me for what i am
And not the man the man i am
You love the title and all that it owns
But inside your empty an all alone
I wish you loved me for not that i'm king
I wish you would love me if i had nothing
You are blinded by wealth and my title you see
Dosnt just me loving you make you happy
For i would give up everything even the thrown
For you to love me and me alone
All of this wealth dose nothing for me
I want to be loved for me being me
For i am giving up everything you see
I'm leaving to find someone who will love me for me
Riches
Rich
are truly rich
only
when towards
love for humanity
they inch.
Riches
truly glisten
only
when in spontaneity
their mind
is very kind.
Riches
are truly fine
only
when the poor and needy
get a dime
to dine.
