When it comes to the point where you occasionally look forward to being in prison on the basis that you might be able to spend a day reading a book, the realization dawns that perhaps the situation has become a little more stressful than you would like.

Reading for book's
At night time...!
Each book's
On the book stand
Rat reading
Not very well....! ?
Rat simply
Read some of
Pages only;
Book's are broken
Rat read mean's
Rat bite's
Book's are crying
I am also...
Rat reading
O...sorry
Rat bite's...!

Forward
'Forward! forward!'
Rang our fathers' battle-cry.
'Forward! forward!'
Norsemen, be our watchword high!
All that fires the spirit and makes the heart's faith bright,
For that we forward go with might
And faithful fight.
'Forward! forward!'
Whoso loves a home that's free.
'Forward! forward!'
Freedom's course must ever be.
Though it shall be tested by doubt and by defeat,
Who will the losses' count repeat
When vict'ries greet?
'Forward! forward!'
Whoso trusts in Norway's day.
'Forward! forward!'
Whoso goes our fathers' way.
Hid in Northern mountains are spirit-treasures true
They shall, when dawns the morning's blue,
Come forth anew.

The Chronicles Of A Day Stranded In Nature Part 4 Spend A Day
One day
I had another fey
Imbroglio... why you there reader would you care?
Why stay there
Reading this... I urge you
That you could share my experiences too
Spend just one fey day at least
In nature stranded with only essentials as for food, don't bring a feast
Spend a day
Reading me, stranded in nature, for that is when you truly know me
Or spend a day, stranded in nature, reading you, for that is when you truly
Truly... find yourself

Sudden Realization
A realization came by
So sudden and abrupt
I imagined I could fly
And all emotions erupt
A realization made by the view
Of your radiant face
Only appreciated by a few
The face, the face that makes my heart pace
A realization so surreal
A realization so joyful
The realization that I feel,
'Twas so beautiful
Let us not make this realization
Come to naught
For all I have seen in this elation
Was all that's been in thought
A realization came by
So wonderful and joyous
From it, we shy
Let's not, but venture the word, "us"

Poet Laureate
On reading Candy Elvis' critique of a laureate's book
Candy Elvis
(Not the Presley one)
Writes poems of time and bliss
She sees no need to atone.
Taking an author by the ears
And addressing her concern
Which well might bring to the eyes, some tears
For she teaches, what all should learn.
For she is not forgiving
When she discovers that there is no sense
To spend time in reading
A poem, or book for which coins have been misspent.
So cast out the author
And go to sleep
The writing is perhaps for another
But surely not bo-peep.

I need not tell you that the world situation is very serious. That must be apparent to all intelligent people. I think one difficulty is that the problem is one of such enormous complexity that the very mass of facts presented to the public by press and radio make it exceedingly difficult for the man in the street to reach a clear appraisement of the situation. … it is of vast importance that our people reach some general understanding of what the complications really are, rather than react from a passion or a prejudice or an emotion of the moment. … It is virtually impossible at this distance merely by reading, or listening, or even seeing photographs or motion pictures, to grasp at all the real significance of the situation. And yet the whole world of the future hangs on a proper judgment. It hangs, I think, to a large extent on the realization of the American people, of just what are the various dominant factors. What are the reactions of the people? What are the justifications of those reactions? What are the sufferings? What is needed? What can best be done? What must be done?

I get letters from readers who say that they have always hated reading, but somebody suggested one of my books, they actually finished the book and enjoyed it, and they're going on to read another book. I'm thrilled that they have figured out that reading is fun.

Ogunade
Ogunade, gun, do doe, end!
But, i am her husband;
Go, Dan, Ade, and, on, no!
Fresh out of prison! !
Like the story of the black book of love,
Like the story of the white book of peace,
Like the story of the red book of care,
Sparks!
But, i am fresh out of prison.

Books
Books take me to a place like no other
When I'm reading no one else madders
All my problems go away and it's just my books and me.
Books I like that word but when I read
My mom and dad and all my brothers and sisters go away
And I'm left there with no one but a book.
And then I pick it up and the word isn't so empty any more
It's full again. Like when you're a kid and your mom or dad
Come home after a long trip without you and you missed them
And then you're crying, laughing and happy all at the same time.
That how I get with a book I just found.
Happy because it's by my favorite Author but yet sad because
The book ended with questions still in my head.
And laughing because it was funny at one point in the book.
I love that felling when I pick up a book.
How do you fell when you pick up a book?
Happy, sad, a funny felling? You tell me please come on now don't be shy.

The great book for you is the book that has the most to say to you at the moment when you are reading. I do not mean the book that is most instructive, but the book that feeds your spirit. And that depends on your age, your experience, your psychological and spiritual need.

When the Day's Just Beginning, I Pray for My End
When the morning dawns.
I wake in haste.
I'm praying real hard for my end.
Life's experiences have driven me around the bend.
With out an ounce of dignity left to spend.
As the new days dawns.
I hope no one mourns.
I want my life to end.
It has twisted me around the bend.
As my days go on.
My pain does not end.
Fear not I have a plan.
I shall take my life tonight.
As the new days dawns.
My life is dying out.
I did the act of suicide.
I'm almost gone.
When this new day looms.
I am dead and cold.
When your new day looms.
Do not grive, do not mourn.

I don't think anyone wants a reader to be completely lost - certainly not to the point of giving up - but there's something to be said for a book that isn't instantly disposable, that rewards a second reading.

I even smoke in bed. Imagine smoking a cigar in bed, reading a book. Next to your bed, there's a cigar table with a special cigar ashtray, and your wife is reading a book on how to save the environment.

Love Erupting
For the love of leaping forward,
I am interrupted by no repetitions.
I cried today like a mound of earth and soil
Erupting from the ground by itself.
My options were clear, I had to realise
And this meant reading and writing.
I strode in bewilderment for a mile,
And half more happened to amaze me.
The twinkling running lights acted
Like cushions on my eye, and my other one.
Love of leaping backward decided
To be a love of wasting and bending
Rather like reading a bad book,
And lamenting to the ears of the eyes.

Forgiveness (Realization)
forgiveness is the energy
of realization...
realizing, the person you're
mad at or hurt by is just an
extension of yourself, another
part of you. realizing, the act
they've committed against you
is just a human act, whether
done on purpose, or without
thinking... realizing, that you
commit similar acts in your day
to day existence...
realizing, not forgiving, holding
on to the anger and pain, only
hurts you yourself! it becomes a
form of prison, self-imposed...
realizing, the mistake is not the
person!
forgiveness, the realization of
freedom in relationships!

Judged By Just Looking At Its Cover
Do you see that book they are reading,
From beginning to end.
With an intention to absorb something,
From it.
That is the same book,
You judged by just looking at its cover.
And they are the ones discovering,
A more meaning from a life...
You have come to despise.
'You haven't read it either.
Or you wouldn't be here talking to me.'
I see. So quick you are,
To base your opinions on appearances.
I'll leave you with this...
If your head wasn't filled with assumptions,
You would realize...
It doesn't matter where you are,
When making a decision to do what it is you wish.
Instead of trying to impress,
From a point of view that is limited.

Sarah Palin - now don't laugh - is writing a book. Not just reading a book, writing a book. Actually, in the word of the publisher, she's 'collaborating' on a book. What an embarrassment! It's one of these 'I told you,' books that jocks do.
