The people that make this country work, the people who pay on their mortgages, the people getting up and going to work, striving in this recession to not participate in it, they're not the enemy. They're the people that hire you. They're the people that are going to give you a job.

Happy mpments
When thousands of voice forms one melody
That becomes matter of joy for somebody
A goal of fulfillment with eternal joy
The sadness disappear and oneness to enjoy
Such thing is rare phenomena
Where you find such an arena?
Yet in case of some countries it is possible
Here people do come together without any trouble
When country is one, land becomes holy
The burden is shared and felt wholly
Any danger can bring them under one roof
Country sings same anthem as unity proof
Japanese, Koreans and Germans are known
For their devotional attitude nationalism of their own
It is expressed at each and every occasion
Lot more is shown as enthusiasm in relation
Not those other countries suffer on this account
But lag behind in expressing clear dissent
Many on account of unstable financial constraints
And others as dependants on treaty contacts
Yet it is nice to face jubilant crowd
Her performance is spoken loud
Who may not want to participate in hilarious movement?
It is do or die approach to participate with happy moments

But how long will this peace last
The night that peace comes
torches are launched into the sky
like stars
to glide hanging to the ground
and as far as I look
I see fireworks near and far,
but how long will this peace last?
Nelson Mandela walks out of jail
and there are people cheering
and dancing from joy
and some think
that now they are totally free,
but how long will this peace last?
His rainbow nation disappears
into the naught
and although the sun still shines
work are reserved for some
and people begin to leave the country
while others from all over Africa stream in
and South Africans are jobless,
but how long will this peace last?
There are incapable people getting positions
and the country goes years back
and murder and killings
are totally out of control
and the police are powerless
to stop it,
but how long will this peace last?
The government takes legal firearms in
while crime spreads wider
and the state are trying to control lives
more and more
and corruption, fraud, rape,
murder and robbery
happens every day,
but how long will this peace last?
l’Envoi
The slaughter of black on white
and robbery are urged on
and reverse racism
talked good
and the country is in chaos
with incapables controlling it
and the dilapidation nobody can stop
but how long will this peace last
before the country
gets another hell of a war?

The Coupler
They came each
to the Coupler
to seek
their Hearts Desire-
the one thing
they wanted most-
and he took their presentation
and coupled it
with what they’d need
to succeed in their Primary Wish.
She wanted True Love;
he gave her Devotion
to couple with it
because without Devotion
True Love can be short and quick;
done with.
He wanted Riches beyond compare
and he was given
Boundless Faith
because riches come and go
and only Faith
allows them to be re-cooped again.
The wish for Hope
was coupled with Love
because hoping for something you
don’t love
will not work.
She desired children
and for years had been barren;
he gave her boundless love
for children however conceived
need this.
The Architect want Immortality
and was given a space in his
children’s’ hearts.
A Knowledge Seeker
was stripped of his facts
and given Wisdom
which is Empathies Insight.
One who sought Revenge
was given a Bitter End.
Justice Seekers
were shown the Face of Mercy.
Poets, sweet poets
received soft dreams
and Verisimilitudes
to pen with.
Power seekers
received
no Power Over
only Power To Enable Others.
And Peace-Seekers
were given Family.
The Lonely were shown
the Rainbow within;
The Poor in Spirit
had their Souls Renewed
by Peace and Love
And those without a Soul
were introduced to their
Sisters and Brothers
whom they then
had to serve.
Life-Seekers
were taught how
to breathe;
The Heart-Broken
were shown
how to dream
other dreams
The Couplet of all Couplets
he said
is The Collective We
we all
depend upon.

Grateful and Pleased
I've been too real.
And I think,
That has been my greatest flaw.
When someone discovers,
A thing one does...
Is much bigger than they perceive.
They begin to believe,
It should be shown...
As they conceive it to be.
Like in magazines, movies...
Or on national TV.
And when it isn't...
They don't know how to react.
Since they know they have shown,
A lot of disrespect.
And they expect to get that back.
And when they realize,
Something genuine has been missed...
They attempt to overcompensate for it.
Instead of showing the respect given,
That has been shown to them.
They begin to then look at another a different way.
As if what had been displayed for years...
To them had not been known that way.
I've been too real.
And I think,
That has been my greatest flaw.
And that's why I prefer the peace of my own company.
Too many are deluded,
By impressions of success.
And why those amongst them...
Should live somewhere else to do that best.
'So and so,
Has a condo in New York City.
Did you know so and so,
Moved from Atlanta to LA? '
No I didn't.
I'm glad to have a bus pass.
Ad peace of mind with me everyday.
And I pray for it to last.
I am grateful and pleased,
To be right where I am!
And happy to have my life in perspective.

The Real Deal
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
Alone but not lonely.
With flaws known You condone,
And accept.
So blessed I feel...
When a togetherness is present.
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
Things and the trappings things bring,
To never stay.
I can say with You...
I am filled with joy and my most happiest.
No matter what comes to cloud or dampen my day...
In my heart you are,
As it has been that way.
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
You remain for me...
The Real Deal.

But the wise and fool live together on this earth.

The beauty of this country and what people participate in is the competitive nature that we allow to exist and the fact is that we are better because we have great competitors.
