We must do everything in our power to keep families together, and to use common sense in our immigration laws. Children deserve better than to lose a parent because of an inflexible law.

For A Parent Whose Children Are Far Away
FOR A PARENT WHOSE CHILDREN ARE FAR AWAY
For a parent whose children are far away
There is much loneliness-
The love we have for our children
Exceeds in our old age all others-
We do not know how to stop praying for them -
Oh God who I fear and love
Forgive us for all our failures of You
And bless them
With good lives and families

Children Power
Children power,
Children power,
Children power,
Children power.
Monkeys are jumping from tree to tree,
Whales are swimming from sea to sea,
Birds are flying from sky to sky,
People are seeing eye to eye.
Were all one.
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power. (children power)
Earth is turning evry day,
Rivers are flowing in every way.
Trees are growing day by day,
And people are loving in their own way.
Were all one.
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)

My view on issues is based on common sense, and my experience as a mother of four children, as a sole parent, and as a businesswoman running a fish and chip shop.

If we are to believe that our immigration laws simply have no value, as our current policies would have us believe, should we then simply throw them all out, the entire lot of immigration law? I hope not.

There is so much work to be done to treat gays and lesbians and gay and lesbian couples with the respect that they're entitled to. They deserve, in my judgment, partnership benefits. They deserve to be treated fairly when it comes to adoption and immigration.

Value Of It All
When does the teaching process end?
And the learning of lessons begin...
Starting the arrival of experience?
And not far behind is a common sense,
Waiting to be triggered without a nudge?
It is there connecting all of this,
Without a budge!
Ready when needed.
However...
If a mind relies too much on books,
To lead to a life reflecting what is written...
As common as it may seem,
A sense expected is missing.
And if a mind begins to lose sight
Of experience, lessons taught
AND common sense...
There will be problems.
Big time ego ones!
Who pays?
And at what cost?
Especially...
If the value of it all is lost!

Re-route for Love
It is said that people
Can't make you mad.
that was not said of granddad's.
Children who are lazy or just plain slow
Add fire to anger as they go.
Love prevails most of the time,
Keeping your anger from crime.
Do this! do that!
over and over...
While the children are getting phat,
From food that they never buy
And if you ask them....they ask why?
Makes a grown person want to cry.
Not doing...and they are not shy,
They rush up and out of bed...
Marching right pass what the parent
Has said.
Both hands out...
When either is filled they want to pout.
Then the parent wants to shout...
But the parent,
Remembering no one can make you mad...
Damn! being a real parent is so sad.
Do this! do that!
While they re-act as if they are a slave,
And all the while sending the parent to his or her grave.
They are only... ask to repeat a smalltask...
But inside they wonder why they are asked.
That is when the real parent stands tall
It is not the anger but the love of it all...
God gave us free will
And we know not to kill...
But to chill.

Pointless To Make Attempts WITH Common Sense
Is a power taken,
The same as a power given?
And how much power,
Does a power that has been taken have...
If those that did not give it,
Deem it as useless?
And if those who deem a power taken,
As being useless...
How powerful can that power remain?
And over what or whom,
Does one with useless power...
Have it kept in their minds believed?
It is pointless to make attempts,
WITH common sense...
To anyone who has money,
That money hoarded has no power at all.
It is only when it is distributed,
That the power of it is most effective.
One's greed,
Eventually defeats a blinded perception.

Deserve
They got money, they got sun
They look like theyre havin fun
Dont it seem its so unfair
They know something you dont know
Theyve got a better place to go
Theyre thin and rich and they dont care
We get the dreams that we deserve
The magazines that we deserve
Page one and three that we deserve
The joy and the pain that we deserve
The sun and the rain that we deserve
The material gain that we deserve
We get what we deserve
They got tension, they got stress
They got their lives in the press
The whole world stares as they undress
Sold their friends to get ahead
They do therapy instead
Theyve got demons in their bed
We get the toys that we deserve
The quiet and the noise that we deserve
The girls and the boys that we deserve
We get what we want if we really want it
We get what we want if were really honest
You know what you are
You know what you want
You know what you deserve
We get the seas that we deserve
The flowers and the trees that we deserve
The spores on the breeze that we deserve
We get what we want if we really want it
We get what we want if were really honest
You know what you are
You know what you want
You know what you deserve
You deserve
We get what we deserve
We deserve

How Many Children? (Holiness)
how many children
are hungry this morning?
how many children
without a home?
how many children
with only one parent?
how many children
.....with none?
how many children
faced with no future?
how many children
thrown to the side?
how many children....
and how many know?

Let The Children Speak
Time - way out of line
A whole nation waits outside
The rhythm of tomorrow
They can dance away their sorrows tonight
Lost - broken and scarred
Prisoner waits outside with his lone heart beating
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Let the children - let the children speak
Aims - dangerous games
Their mother says one false move and we all get hurt
I feel this sense of power I feel it every hour tonight
Lets not get lazy tonight
Things could get crazy cos
One more kick and the door cracks open
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children
Power to the powerless strength unto the weak
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Im begging you now let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children
Power to the powerless, strength unto the weak
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Lets not get lazy tonight
Things could get crazy cos
One last kick and the door cracks open
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Power to the powerless, strength unto the weak
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Things could get crazy tonight
Lets not get lazy cos
One last kick and the door cracks open
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
Im begging you now
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children
Power to the powerless, strength unto the weak
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
The language of this world
Lets not get lazy cos
One false move and we all get hurt
Let the children, let the children
Let the children, let the children speak
The language of this world
Things could get crazy

Rats Got My Kid
Some parents should not be parents,
To lose your kid for two days and not know is unbelievable,
It doesn’t make any sense,
You take your child to Chuck E. Cheese, and forget about them,
For TWO DAYS,
I think that the cardboard pizza clogs up the brain cells,
Could it be the machines that spill you tickets to redeem for prizes?
$25 in tokens for $2 disguises,
Or the football games were on the television sets, -is Dallas playing?
It could be worse, some parents forget about their children in the car,
During summertime, a/c off, windows rolled up, sweltering, blistering heat,
They forgot that they had their children,
They do errands, and some forget because the children made them beat.
It is sad that these humans are allowed to procreate,
Snip’em while they’re young,
For this continued behavior will have a limited number in this fate.

More sadly a parent left his two children outside in 35 degrees,
He went to see Ti_s and A_s for at least an hour,
His children were left in a car while he gandered at boobs around everywhere,
He would be the perfect specimen for a vasectomy,
Cardrico Lajuan Nash you are failure at parenting because you did not care.

Hold Your Horses
Hold your horses tonight, lets go wild for a night
Hold your horses tonight, lose control for a night
til the morning comes
So here it comes again
Youll love it when you hear it
Cause were leaving now
Well never look back
Were on the move again
Join in or step aside
We go for all time high
And thats what were gonna reach
Were going loco, time to go insane
All common sense is going down the drain
Were going loco, time to go insane
All common sense is going down the drain
Hold your horses tonight, everybodys here now
Lets go wild for a night, til the morning comes
Hold your horses tonight, everybodys here now
Lose control for a night, til the morning comes
Were going loco, time to go insane
All common sense is going down the drain
Were going loco, time to go insane
All common sense is going down the drain

Lose control for a night, til the morning comes

I know it's a lot harder for women who don't have enough help, but the truth is, no matter how much money you have, if you want to stay involved with your children and don't want to lose being a primary parent to them, you're still in the game.
