THERE IS THE MOOD OF A POEM FOR THIS NIGHT
There is the mood of a poem for this night
There is the mood of a love from long ago
That is forever lost-
There is a mood of a too rainy and too cold night
There is a mood of more inside than saying can mean-
There is a mood of many things-
And all these moods are not one mood
And yet in me now largely indescribable-
For there is a mood which takes the person away
Into a land of dreams and beyond
And another mood and another poem
Which simply stays where it is
In longing for itself-
So while I have many moods
And may write many poems of those moods
I know that there is no mood tonight

Lets party like fools, lets go out and break the rules
if you have school tommorow don't go, because one day missed wont cause much sorrow. If you have work take the day off, have some fun, go out and play golf, or if that isn't your thing, get drunk and sing.
It's time to party like fools, go out to the bar and shoot some pool, forget work and forget school.

When the trumpet sounded, it was
all prepared on the earth,
the Jehovah parcelled out the earth
to Coca Cola, Inc., Anaconda,

the delicate waist of America.

over the restless heroes

it established the comic opera:
abolished the independencies,
presented crowns of Caesar,
unsheathed envy, attracted

How can you gather 50 men and women
in your own home to eat the food you cook

How can you manage to let them share

Fruit flies
Fruit flies made me realize the eyes I gazed into
The genes I wanted to fill made be blind and blond.
So then I sang a goofy song,
Perhaps one so full of the info
That it was the prostate of life that I did get into.
So..are they blue, green or dark brown.
Love those eyes that smiles and naught frowns.
Fruit of our life, a banana in the sun

The leopard looked and listened, too,
While seated on the ground...
Observing from its point of view
Then suddenly spellbound...
For while with beauty of its own,
It felt life's beauty shared...
You'd have to have a heart of stone
To say you've never cared...
The leopard looked at all there was,

As if it never came across

Some folks say that smokin herb is a crime
if they catch you smokin they're bound to drop the dime
Insufferable Informable Crazy fools
wait with their fingers crossed for you to break the rules
and in the evenin we try to jam
we like the music loud in this here band
we let the bass and drop as loud as we can stand
somebody always gotta turn informer for the man
i wanna know,know right now
is there one of you in the crowd
are you gonna call 911
and spoil all of my fun

Mood Lighting (Fun Poem 98)
We had a party once
and decided for some mood lighting
and we’d buy a coloured light buld.
The one we chose was pink,
but when we switched it on
it was brighter than the white one
that was there before.
It was so dazzling
it nearly blinded us all.
So much for the mood lighting
it was suppose to be a party
not a mesmerizing stand.
Our guests would have been blinded,
and would not have seen
what they were drinking
and whose hand they were holding.
We changed the buld back again
to the white one and left it at that.
