If you have a procedure with 10 parameters, you probably missed some.

Yeah, it's more like playing what you think is appropriate for the moment. It's not about trying to force any particular style within the parameters - and the parameters we play in are pretty large!

Parameters Not Known
Parameters not known
Letters twitters
Words thoughts
Not found.
I am sure
I am not angel
I am sure
I am not ape
I am sure
I am a man
From begining.
And I know
No parameters can
Measure me.

When you're writing for newspapers you have all these parameters. You can't swear, you have to use short paragraphs, all that. If you stay within those parameters, you have lots of freedom because you're writing for the next day.

Procedure
Procedure, pad, rod, rode, deep, reed, deer, pod, core;
The bittern and the pools of water!
But sweep it with the love of your broom.
Procedure, cure, pure, due, peer, pore, ore, dupe, duo;
And like your forehead exposed to the public!
But try to do the right things always in life.

Killin Time
People polishing guns
Theyve got nothing better to do
Though they think theyre having fun
Theyre just living to die, if they but knew
Now, now
All day long they sit at home
Waiting for the milk to come
Watch them turn into stone
Thinking bout the things they might have done,
Now, now
You missed the point, you missed the point
You really missed the point
Everybodys got to know
Loves the reason were here
No matter which way you go
Loves gonna meet you there
Killing time, killing time
Killing time, killing time
You missed the point, you really missed the point
Made me cry, I wonder why, why
You missed the point, you missed the point
You really missed the point

They'll None of 'Em Be Missed
As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list - I've got a little list
Of social offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed - who never would be missed!
There's the pestilential nuisances who write for autographs -
All people who have flabby hands and irritating laughs -
All children who are up in dates, and floor you with 'em flat -
All persons who in shaking hands, shake hands with you like THAT -
And all third persons who on spoiling TETE-E-TETES insist -
They'd none of 'em be missed - they'd none of 'em be missed!
There's the nigger serenader, and the others of his race,
And the piano organist - I've got him on the list!
And the people who eat peppermint and puff it in your face,
They never would be missed - they never would be missed!
Then the idiot who praises, with enthusiastic tone,
All centuries but this, and every country but his own;
And the lady from the provinces, who dresses like a guy,
And who "doesn't think she waltzes, but would rather like to try";
And that FIN-DE-SIECLE anomaly, the scorching motorist -
I don't think he'd be missed - I'm SURE he'd not be missed!
And that NISI PRIUS nuisance, who just now is rather rife,
The Judicial humorist - I've got HIM on the list!
All funny fellows, comic men, and clowns of private life -
They'd none of 'em be missed - they'd none of 'em be missed!
And apologetic statesmen of the compromising kind,
Such as - What-d'ye-call-him - Thing'em-Bob, and likewise - Never-
mind,
And 'St - 'st - 'st - and What's-his-name, and also - You-know-who-
(The task of filling up the blanks I'd rather leave to YOU!)
But it really doesn't matter whom you put upon the list,
For they'd none of 'em be missed - they'd none of 'em be missed!

To the Masters of Pretentious Verse
Write what you will,
But your lines do not impress -
Your metaphors, hyperboles
And anaphoras do not contribute
Anything to my life
Or anyone else's -
You glorify madness
But have never seen
The frighteningly real
Darkness of the mind -
You're just buffoons
Proclaiming shallow
Prophecies that are
Dime a dozen, while
Your captive audience
Of comfortable middle class
Feels safe with the parameters
Of your fake madness
And artificial breath stops -
Your verses won't be missed -
There is no life or joy
To be derived from anything
You pretend - just hollow
Amusement from language
Perturbation - nothing more.
Good luck, my friends,
You have nothing to teach me
About being alive
Or living poetry -
For you, too, are dead
In all your self-importance
And hollow words.

Wedding Day
Today you'll pick up all the pieces
And get on with your life
All I can hope is that you're happy
'Cause today you're someone elses wife
Right now I wish that I could turn back
And beg the hands of time
For the days that I remember (oh baby)
The days when you were mine
And if I never said I love you
It's cause the words got in the way
Now all I do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
I'll bet you looked good at the altar
I'll bet he knew the words to say
And the angels smiled when you walked down the aisle
You both knelt down to pray
As he put his ring on your finger
I know there's just one thing left to say
All I can do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
So Sorry
(solo)
You won't be walking through the door anymore
You won't be sleeping in this bed anymore
Tho' I swear I see your shadow waltz accross my floor
And I don't know if I can take it
Should we ever meet again
Cause I know that we'll be strangers
When he introduces friends
I tried to make it to the church now baby
A broken heart got in the way
All I can do is tell you I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
I really hope you're happy baby
Tho' it's killing me to say
All I can do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed you're wedding day
Sorry I missed you're wedding
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day

A Familiar Situation
The procedure reeks,
With a familiar situation.
The needy are depicted,
As inflicting their own special 'needs'.
As if they could not wait to become impoverished,
By those who advertise their philanthropic ways.
To show a public concern with a donated tax free gift!
The procedure reeks,
With a familiar situation.
The needy are depicted,
As inflicting their own special 'needs'.
As if they could not wait to become impoverished,
By those who advertise their philanthropic ways.
To show a public concern with a donated tax free gift!
With another round of photo ops,
Promoting generousity and involvement...
With the assistance of highlighting 'instructored',
Self impowerment.
The procedure reeks,
With a familiar situation.

I write the music, produce it and the band plays within the parameters that I set.
My heart beat
It all seems like today
Ages have passed by…
My heart missed a beat
When I first saw you
When you stretched out your hand
When you spoke to me first
When you said you look good
When you stood talking for hours
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I met you
When we started dating
When we went on shopping
When we spent time in each other’s company
When we were in each other’s arms
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I wanted to say something
When you found that life was miserable
When you thought I should live with you
When you enjoyed my company
When you proposed to me
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I felt your love
When we first had a talk
When we had a long walk
When we never heard the waves on the shore
When we knew we loved each other
My heart missed a leap
My heart missed a leap
When I lost words
When you found them for me
When you touched me first
When you blew in my ears
When you kissed me first
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I saw the ring
When we decided
When we finalized things
When we knew everything was fine
When we heard the revolt
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I saw you parents
When you said your mother’s decision
When you were thinking twice
When you wanted to satisfy both
When your thoughts wavered
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I understood you
When we decided to go ahead
When we said this is the right time
When we told our friends
When we held hands
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I became your wife
When you were all to myself
When you said you love me lots
When you and your mother accepted me
When you became my world
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I knew a life in me
When we realized the fact
When we understood our culmination’s fruit
When we were to be too proud
When we heard a heart in me
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I first heard them cry
When you saw with sparkling eyes our babies
When you said they resemble me
When you said I am now a proud father of two
When you said I love you for this
My heart missed a beat
My heat missed a beat
When I heard them call me mom
When we were proud parents
When we shared happy moments
When we saw them grow
When we heard good things about them
My heart missed a beat
My heart missed a beat
When I knew it was time for marriages again
When you said just both of us now
When you saw me with love
When you said you look young still
When you whispered I love you
My heart missed a beat
You are a part of me
Even in our ripe old age
My heart beats only for you from day one
The day yours stop so will mine stop
For my heart beats only for you…
It all seems like today
Ages have passed by…

Controlling All
It is The Lord God who chooses, every doctor that He uses,
To treat the cancer deep in me, to heal my dreaded infirmity;
And with allowing each procedure, this for certain, I am sure,
Granting grace along the way, for every single hospital stay.
He directs my path with grace, dictating every doctor’s pace,
Never allowing what might be, controlling what is best for me,
When His providence did override, the procedure was denied,
Surely not the doc’s first choice, God trumps the doc’s voice.
Such has been the way of God, on this present journey I trod,
Along the journey with my wife, while in the autumn of our life,
A journey that wasn’t our choice, but, in God we could rejoice,
For God holds us in His hand, in times difficult to understand.
With another procedure behind, we in God had peace of mind,
With God’s peace in our heart, knowing Christ wouldn’t depart,
Who, is that light upon our path, through all and any aftermath,
We, not knowing what’s ahead, lean upon Jesus Christ instead.
With more ahead down the road, God will help lighten our load,
As we cast all burdens to Him, Christ gives us His peace within,
And with decisions yet to be made, at His feet they can be laid,
While we lean upon Jesus Christ, through all the trials in our life.

Out of Date Procedure!
Creativity and inventiveness look rare virtues;
In the name of procedure they are crushed
And novelty and innovation seem seldom ever!
Many wish to be in job till retirement sans change;
That way they can comfortably settle and go on
Like oil mongering bull or horse running round pot!
Oil mongering bull functioning in circular motion,
Horse running in round poet no way to go out ever
Are like a frog living in well not seeing outside world!
Mainly due to such men progress and development
No institution or nation can dream about ever at all
Making men of creativity dull and insipid in society!
Changes and reforms on procedure only open gate
To a world of plenty and progress anywhere sure!
