Little Children
Little children are a gift
An heritage in the Lord
That we might learn humility
According to God's Word.
Little children teach us much
As we open to their love
For we must be as little children
To our Father from above.
Little children are a blessing
As we watch them play and laugh
For when we look at little children
We see no hate nor wrath.
Little children God does give us
That as parents we might be,
A reflection of the Lord
God calls this, family.
For our Father up above
Told us in His Son;
'You cannot enter heaven-
unless like little children you become'
So let's bless our little children
As they grow from day to day;
Learn to be like Yeshua to them
And train them in their way.

Caught in a politics of culture
caught in a politics of culture
designed for the indifferent
they are brought to nothing
because a web
that brought them to their knees
knitted in poverty's trap
now they have nothing
sorry, life, prayer
and God
who appears distant
with everyone saying
be strong, God will
will what the family beckons
caught in a politics of culture
designed for the indifferent
the head man cries
cries like a child in need of change
his lamentation brought the
family to tear
but
what next the head child inquire
as he sees not purpose for education
a grown had by his head man
yet he was brought to his knees
and now the family suffers
they cry for want
everything is wrong
and God appears distant
nowhere for redemption
they languish by the seconds
caught in a politics of culture
designed for the indifferent
the debt collector is coming
they hide beneath the opened heavens
caught and hell upon to leave
once again belittled in an opened space
yet the family beckons for help
wondering when, when, when
when God is coming to change the future
but the family is caught in present
a pile, a web, a paradox of mystery
wanting help,
seeing it close
but offered expressions
the children laugh with vexation
but the head man
say
no jealous should be in thine heart
caught in a politics of culture
designed for the indifferent
the man search the obituary
for a unknown father
who may have left him bequest
as a gift
a piped hope, but a faith in something
in a heaven of opportunity
he cries to the God of Daniel
no sound cometh from the
saviour the belittled call
is He caught in the system
they wonder
just expressions, expressions and more rhetoric
and no sign of help
a family with a sick child
not having finance
because the head man is
caught in a politics of culture
designed for the indifferent

We're All God's Children
Album: Peace In The Valley
Here comes a Baptist, here comes a Jew
There goes a Mormon and a Muslim too
I see a Buddist and a Hindu
I see a Catholic and I see you
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
You like the day, and I like the night
He's into country and he's isn't quit
There's folks on the left and the far right
But that doesn't mean that we have to fight
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
White folks, yellow folks, black and tan
On the same planet in the same plan
A feminist woman and a he man
We're all playin' the magic hand
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Oh, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all black and white
We're all precious in his sight
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we all be
One big happy family...

A Successful Woman
When a man wishes to enter the wedding altar,
He chooses to have a traditional wife
Who cooks, cleans and is submissive without strife.
When he is unable to make both ends meet,
His pecuniary condition becomes his grouse,
And he sends for employment his spouse.
To the family ‘s income streams—she adds,
And with the finances now more secure,
A part he saves, and a house, he does procure.
She is better exposed to the world,
And has knowledge to discuss with her husband
About the investments in the best fund.
The children are no more molly coddled,
They become spirited and independent,
And learn to be more brave and confident.
She takes the home and country forward,,
By fulfilling her dual roles' obligation,
And is a successful woman with soul satisfaction.

Get Ethnic
(rap:)
Lying here in the sun just trying to get a tan
Trying to find a look to go with the plan
Everyones different
Everyones go their thing
Spinman give me a rhythm...swing, swing
You dont have to dance alone
You get on the floor and make yourself at home
Do anything you want to do
Its alright... its all up to you
(ethnic chorus):
It doesnt matter what skin youre in
Baby let the groove begin
Get ethnic...all day
Get ethnic...all night
gonna chill and ride the day out
People let me tell you what its all about
Get ethnic...all day
Get ethnic...all night long
(talk):
Walk my way!!!
Talk my way!!!
This is a new direction
Were gonna take it to the street
Spinman throw down a funky beat
Ooh sweet
Dont really care where you come from
You may move to a different drum
Jump right in and take you place
Were all part of the human race
(ethnic chorus):
Like you mama do
And your daddy too
Its an attitude
(ethnic chorus x 2):
Everybodys different
And we all have a song to sing
Spinman do your rhythm thing...swing...swing
Spinman do your rhythm thing...swing...swing
(ethnic chorus):
Cmon cmon baby
Smooth me out
Smooth me out
(chant fade).

Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don't begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten.

Race Of Veterans
RACE of veterans! Race of victors!
Race of the soil, ready for conflict! race of the conquering march!
(No more credulity's race, abiding-temper'd race;)
Race henceforth owning no law but the law of itself;
Race of passion and the storm.

The School System
The school system
was not designed for us
Mexican-Americans
america is not designed for us
in school we learn
about wars, time periods this and
that
in only two colors
white and black
racism comes in many colors
its just not between white and black
its more like human to human
there is racism between every
race
and Im tired of seeing media only focus on the two
how can I be motivated as
a Mexican-American when all
I read in class is about
black and white culture and
how they clash
the school sysem was
designed by whites and blacks
and not for us...

The race and the entrants
Running the RaceRunning the race, the entrant is thinking,
How shall I go, shall I be fast tracking;
The man calls their names and they each get down,
But someone starts off early, oh what a frown.
They all get ready, and the man says ready, set go,
Off they all start, around the track they all know,
The runner he thinks, as he races along there,
Have I done enough practice, as the crowd do stare.
But; soon he starts to put speed in each step,
And races ahead, The pace has some depth;
As they come up fast to the first time round,
One of the runners knocks another to the ground.
The runner is now fifteen feet ahead of the rest,
He wants to win the race, another medal in his nest;
As the race comes soon to the end for each one,
That entrant remembered the race of life soon to come.
As Paul had spoken of the race we all run,
In life it's not how much we have, but what we've done;
We run the race of life, seeking to live right,
Serving God our Father, walking in the light.
As we get to the end of the race we run,
When we finish our race well hear hopefully well done;
We can't go wrong when we do right and serve the Lord,
Pray, show kindness and care, and study His Word.

Too often we act - ask our schools to be truant officers, our teachers to be truant officers, because we're giving them children who have, you know, they're not ready to learn. And if they're not ready to learn by the third grade, they know they're behind.

I learn
I learn when I teach others
I learn when I listen
I learn when I read
I learn from children
I learn from animals
I learn from nature
I learn how to breathe
I learn how to live
I learn how to love
I learn how to be a human being
I'm always learning ...

Tiny Teachers
If we looked to our children,
So simple and pure.
If we looked to our children,
We could learn so much more.
If we looked to our children,
We could rise above.
If we looked to our children,
We could learn how to love.
If we looked to our children,
We could find a way to be free.
If we looked to our children,
We could learn how to see.
If we looked to our children,
Without being so stern.
If we looked to our children,
How much we could learn.
