When you say a friend has a sense of humor do you mean that he makes you laugh, or that he can make you laugh?

Laugh Clown Laugh
Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,
make everyone laugh real hard.
Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.

A Walmart Parking Lot
To laugh at life
You have to have,
A perpetual sense of humor.
If you laugh,
They say,
The life you live,
Will potentially,
Last much longer.
I am sitting in the dark,
Stranded,
In a Walmart parking lot,
And finding it,
Hard to laugh.
I cannot see the humor in,
My current situation.
I am desperately in need,
Of some comic revelation.
Then suddenly,
It dawns on me.
And I can see,
My poetry,
Is witty confirmation.
With words and rhyme,
I laugh at me,
And thus embrace,
Salvation.

Laugh Out Loud
Have we lost our sense of humor?
We must laugh on every day.
For without laughter life is dull
Like a stage without a play.
Funny little quips that people say
are the gems that sparkle and shine
Right within a placid soul
that's in need of bright sunshine.
So laugh inside, laugh out loud,
Laugh whenever you can.
And when you think you've laughed too much,
laugh out loud again.

Laugh
If you can’t laugh at yourself a lot,
You’re not enjoying the life you’ve got.
The greatest source of humor on earth
Has followed you all around since birth.
Into your mirror laugh or at least smile
And be happy for at least a while.
A good laugh will slow that clock down;
Just as it speeds up with every frown.
Laugh at things that make you sad.
You’ll find out they really aren’t so bad.

You need to laugh more. Life is filled with too many problems, to not laugh every day. ... We need to have a sense of humor going into this because it's too tough without it.

Im Gonna Laugh You Out Of My Life
(cy coleman, joseph allen mccarthy)
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Laugh, and forget this affair
Guess I was foolish
To care.
So Im gonna dance you right out of my dreams,
Try to be carefree and gay
I guess Ill learn to play
The part.
cause when our friends begin that
Heartless rumor,
I know Ill really need my
Sense of humor.
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Make it a beautiful joke.
No one will know you broke
My heart.
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard,
Ill cry.
~interlude~
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard...
Ill cry.

You Always Need a Friend
You always need a friend
Someone to be by your side
From beginning to the end
Through the ups and downs of this roller coaster ride
You always need a friend
That is generous and caring
Who will help you fix what's ruined
And laugh at what you're wearing
You always need a friend
Who has a good sense of humor
And will put to an end
If they heard wrong of you in a rumor
You always need a friend
That you can trust with anything
Someone that you could depend
On and talk to about everything
This person should be treasured
Because they are your best friend
Their friendship doesn't have to be measured
Since they will be there until the end

You:
You
Your smile gets me through the day,
Your laugh helps me find my way,
Your eyes make me wanna stay,
Your hug makes me wanna say,
I love you, I love you, I do.
Your presence helps me make it through,
Your kindness lets me see the lies aren't true,
Your compassion lifts me up when I'm blue,
Your humor makes me laugh longer than you,
I love you, I love you, I do...

Sense Of Humor For Reece Kay
i laugh so hard about your joke
i'll take the hints
of the sneeze and the orgasms
and the tissue
and some pepper
the woman on the the train with you,
now laugh,
i also laugh with you, yet not knowing me
really
we are miles apart, and you with your
present problems
losing one of your identities
this danny reynolds, you tell me
i do not have they say
this sense of humor,
Loll
Lol,
it is unjust to say the least,
in my country one day
i was admitted to the maternity hospital
on bloated stomach
filled with laughter
they think
i am pregnant.
(ulol!)
oh, lol!

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXII: Laugh
there's laugh, forced laugh
laugh, gentle rejection without word
laugh, looking sympathy with laugh
laugh but actually doesn't laugh
hiding anger, hiding pain
cheerful laugh but alone inside
why you try hard to impress people?
tired and wounded more
laughing your foolish joke
and crying life in the dark room
laugh for yourself
laugh with your heart
and you'll never regret to try an honest laugh

Mary O Dwyer
She has got a lot of charm much about her to admire
Full of good old Aussie humor likeable Mary O Dwyer
If you cannot laugh at her jokes then you need to see a shrink
Or you are a boring person slow to laugh and slow to think.
Few like her live in Wonthaggi few like her live anywhere
People of such wit and humor are and always have been rare
So kind hearted and unconceited as a friend so nice to know
One you always will remember though to your life friends come and go.
With two daughters close to their teens she was never some one's wife
But she makes the most of her lot and looks on the bright side of life
She too has her share of worries but she laughs her cares away
If she feels sad for some reason it won't last for the whole day.
If you cannot laugh with Mary then you ought to face the truth
That you are a boring person of laughter you are destitute
For she is bright and quick witted and she is free of conceit
And one of the nicest people that anyone could wish to meet.

I always laugh the hardest at the stuff you see in day-to-day life. It's great when somebody can tell a joke that really makes you laugh hard, but to see some kind of personal interaction that no one could write is so good. Those are always the things that make me laugh.

The Jokers In Our Lives
They are the slap happy
Go lucky people
That often has us in fits
We laugh at their humor
On life till we cry with tears of joy
They bring laughter
To our family and friends
They are the expert clowns
That makes our life so gay
It's never boring
When their around
They make life worth while
To make a child smile
To make a grown women
Laugh with tears in her eyes
Is indeed a god given talent?
So with an appreciated smile
And a loud applause
Let's give it up
To the Jokers in our lives

Laugh-making
under the shadow
on the green sunny meadow
by the rounded mossy stone
both ate ripe watermelon
he made her laugh
her bubbling laughter
made him love her
then they made love
under the blanket
he makes her laugh
she loves his manner
to make her laugh...
The golden gate
to love, my love,
is maybe...laughter
Make me laugh...

Sometimes There's Three
There’s two sides to every story
And sometimes there’s three
You can take a trip around the world
To simply cross the street
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
There's two paths on every journey
And sometimes there's three
You can meet your fate on the same road
You took to avoid it
I know, 'cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
And at the crossroads, don't turn and look away
Let it kiss you on the face
And then have a laugh
There’s two women in your life
And sometimes there’s three
You can make a wish upon a star
Only to find it land in your street
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
There’s two people fighting for your mind
And sometimes there’s three
Each mask you wear at different times
Till one fits comfortably
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
And at the crossroads, don' turn and look away
Let it kiss you on the face
And then have a laugh

Anybody with a sense of humor is going to put on my album and laugh from beginning to end.
This Will Make You Laugh
This will make you laugh,
I staked my dreams on you.
This will make you laugh,
They never did come true.
I took a chance on the one romance,
I vowed it couldn't miss.
But I should have known to never judge,
A heart borrowed kiss.
This will make you laugh,
I once believed in you.
And for all my love,
You didn't see it through.
Of all the fools, I break the rule.
I love you still you see,
This will make you laugh,
But it's not funny to me.

Please, O God of Humor
Please, O God of Humor, give me the gift of being funny
naturally funny
so I can produce poetry and verse that tickles
and makes readers laugh so much their coins roll out of their wallets;
and let the children roll on the floor when my poems are recited;
for indeed my humor is the worst online by any standard
(or lack of standard)
for when I publish poems meant to be funny
my readers never understand me
and what I thought funny, they think tragic
and what I thought was tickle-tickle material
they find pathetic and practically laughable;
I am lectured to or consoled by readers
when I attempt humor;
I am sent e-mails and spam of advice
and words of caution when I attempt to be witty;
and my 113th poem
on the funny side of social networking
brought sympathy and pity for my lack of friends
but no appreciation for what I thought was funny;
and my 213th poem on old ladies at banks
brought outrage at me for hanging out at banks to ogle at wealthy, old ladies;
my 3131th poem on religion, the Divine
and its Power-packed representatives on Planet Earth
provoked no laughter but the ire and wrath of the other God
(you know, not you the Laughing God,
but the Other One, the Only One, the Angry Jealous God)
really neither man nor beast
nor the Highest Being in heaven
truly
nobody laughs at my verse
and nobody finds my offbeat humor at all funny;
Oh please,
God of Humor,
please make my humor a little like that of
Mr Bean or Jim Carrie
so I can have a universal audience
that will laugh at anything I write
(and perhaps incidentally, I’ll make some money)
and then they’ll all say:
See what the God of Humor and Laughter has done
for that simpleton Raj who never knew what humor in poetry is…
Please God of Humor, won't you humor me?
