I forget a book as soon as I finish writing it, which is not always a good thing.

Every time I finish a book, I forget everything I learned writing it - the information just disappears out of my head.

Things to do
A book to read,
a poem to write,
a chapter to learn,
homework to do,
a book to finish writing,
what is it to be busy?
Is it that you have a lot to do?
You can always cancel or take your time.
Why haste then?
Why not take interest in life?
Do not waste your life,
you'll have time to finish your to do list.

I feel sorry for people who have to edit me. Which is why book writing is by far the most enjoyable. Really the only thing it's based on is whether it's good or not. No book editor, in my experience, is getting a manuscript and try to rewrite it.

Sarah Palin - now don't laugh - is writing a book. Not just reading a book, writing a book. Actually, in the word of the publisher, she's 'collaborating' on a book. What an embarrassment! It's one of these 'I told you,' books that jocks do.

I don't think I've ever read an old book through from start to finish. Not after more than six months after writing it, that is.

My Blue Pen
A pen, what is a pen?
An instrument for writing, a tool, a path to wisdom?
Or is much more than that?
What means this blue pen to my heart?
I'm writing with this pen all my thoughts, my hopes,
I'm keep it in my hand to help my ideas flow,
This blue pen is the bearer of all my joy and pain,
And when i'm writing, its blue ink holds my dreams.
I'm writing with my blue pen,
Which he gave it to me,
To never forget and to write,
Our impossible love story in the book of life.

The Book Of Love
In the book of love come of age
When you lose your love, you turn the page
Hey-ho the book of love,
Life is written in your own blood
Say forever and it all sounds fine
When youre holding hands,
With the hands of time
Hey-ho the book of love
Laugh at the dead but tomorrow you cry
Chorus:
My broken hearts from a to z
Dos and donts on bended knees
Change of lovers endlessly
And this book of love is writing me
Chapter 2 you walk away
But in chapter 3 a man made me stay
Hey-ho the book of love
Why dontcha look up
All the games you played
Chorus
Theyll be sweet love in a darkness
But the book of love
Is a story of your loneliness
Finger tipped it on a holy night
And a page is ripped for a name of life
Check the back cause the datell be due
When theyll throw the book of love at you
They are broken hearts from a to z
Dos and donts on bended knees
Disappointed right to be
Celebrate a celebrity
K-i-s-s-i-n-g
Ah stupid cupid set me free
Took a look and whatll I see
This book of love is writing me
This book of love is writing me
This book of love is writing me
This book of love is writing me

Good Thing
The one good thing
In my life
Has gone away
I dont know why
Shes gone away
I dont know where
Somewhere I cant follow her
The one good thing didnt stay too long
Woo who who who
My back was turned and she was gone
Hey hey hey
Good thing
Where have you gone
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Youve been gone too long
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
People say I should forget
Theres plenty more dont get upset
Dont get upset
People say shes doing fine
Mutual friends I see sometime
Thats not what I want to hear
Woo who who who
I want to hear she wants me near
Good thing
Where have you gone
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Youve been gone too long
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
Good thing
Then one day
She came back
I was so happy that I didnt ask
Morning came
Hey hey hey hey
Into my room
Woo who who who
Caught me dreaming like a fool
Good thing
My good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
My my my my good thing
Where have you gone
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Hey hey my good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Girl
Where have you gone
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Its been so long
Youre gone again
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good girl
Good good girl
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good

I Come Alive In Writing
I come alive in writing
Even if the writing means nothing to anyone else-
I come alive in writing
Even if I am totally deluding myself as to its value-
I come alive in writing
Even if at times while writing there is an underlying hopelessness and despair -
I come alive in writing
As if writing is what God has given me to do-
I come alive in writing
As if through it I can truly give to and help others-
I come alive in writing
As if life has meaning through it-
I come alive in writing
Even when I sense the writing is not good or great
As I would wish it to be.

One book at a time... though I'm usually doing the research for others while I'm writing, but that sort of research is fairly desultory and I like to stick to the book being written - and writing a book concentrates the mind so the research is more productive.

Anything Done You Do
Whatever you do and the reason being
Don't excuse it for some other thing changed you'll do.
Get one thing done.
Not for me,
But for you.
Whatever you do and the reason being
Don't excuse it for some other thing changed you'll do.
Get one thing done.
Not for me,
But for you.
You'll start one thing and not finish it
Anything done you do.
I just want to see you begin and not quit.
Anything done you do.
Yet you'll sit and criticize no matter what it is.
Anything done you do.
Then you say I'm the one that gives you the lip.
Anything done you do.
Get one thing done.
Not for me,
But for you.
Anything done you do.
Whatever you do and the reason being
Don't excuse it for some other thing changed you'll do.
Get one thing done.
Not for me,
But for you.
Anything done you do.
You'll start one thing and not finish it.
Anything done you do.
I just want to see you begin and not quit.
Anything done you do.
Yet you'll sit and criticize no matter what it is.
Anything done you do.
Then you say I'm the one that gives you the lip.
Anything done you do.
Just finish.
Anything done you do.
Just finish.
Anything done you do.
Just finish.
Anything done you do.
Just finish.
Anything done you do.

A good writer cannot avoid having social consciousness. I don't mean this about small pieces of writing, but about a big book. If it's a big book, there has to be more than one undertow.

just One Thing
just,
one,
thing,
start with being just
i know what fair is,
sportsmanship,
give me
what is due me
think of me
when i am sad
drink with me
when i am
happy,
be just to me
one, i am one,
and will always be
one with myself,
one with nature,
one with you
just me, this one
nothing less
nothing more,
and for one more thing,
you like flowers
and call them things
their scents, their colors
the way they touch
you on a certain
closeness
and just one thing more,
do not forget
i am still here
writing for you.

Too Much Of A Good Thing
Smiles in the morning
As warm as sunshine
Kisses when I lay down at night
And 2 loving arms
To console me
I should be scared, it's so right
But, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
Feelings like this can't be wrong
And, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
And we've got a good thing going on
You look in my eyes
And see my thinkin'
I know when you're happy, when you're sad
Someone said
It's too perfect
But, I don't think what we have is so bad
Cause, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
Feelings like this can't be wrong
And, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
And we've got a good thing going on
And we've got a good thing going on

Thats Good
Everybody its a good thing
Everybody wants a good thing
Everybody aint it true that
Everybodys looking for the same thing
Aint it true theres just no doubt
Theres some things that you cant do without
And thats good
Aint it true as the sun that shines
You got yours and you got mine
And thats good
Everybodys just like you its true
Everybody wants a good thing too
Now lets have a great big hand
For everybody who can understand
Lifes a bee without a buzz
Its going great till you get stung
And let us not forget to toast
Everyone who might have missed the boat
And to everybody else who waits
Until the next one sails in again
Everybody its a good thing
Aint it true its a monumental good thing

Ive Got A Good Thing
(jerry ragavoy / mort shuman)
I got a good thing
I got a good thing
I got a good thing going
Take the sun and take the moon
And stars that shine so bright
All I need is my guy
And everythings all right
Everything about him thrills me
The way he looks at me just kills me
Hes got a way of getting to me
Every kiss just goes right through me
I got a good thing
You know I got a good thing, baby
I got a good thing going
Take the rainbow from the sky
Oh, I dont really care
I will have a pot of gold
As long as he is there
I never knew such sweet affection
And its all in my direction
If he left theres no mistaking
My poor heart would start to break and
I got a good thing
You know I got a good thing going
I got a good thing going, yeah
I got a good thing, yeah
You know I got a good thing going
You know I got a sweet thing baby
Everything is everything, baby
Everything is uptight, all right, out of sight
Yeah, I got a good thing going, yeah
You know I got a good thing

Life Trial
You may always try
But if the error of trial is more damaging
Try to make it succeeded
You may not take it serious
But if the neglecting seriousness causes more problem
Take it with responsibility
You may love anyone
But if the betrayal of love hurts many hearts
Love with devotion
You may run away
But if the regret of running loses you something
Run with purpose
You may finish the way you like
But if improper finishing haunts you someday
Finish it completely
You may forget
But if the forgotten memories leave you a void
Forget it with forgiveness
You may wish
But if the fulfilled wish disappoints you
Wish with sincere heart
You may dream
But if beautiful dream only stays as dream
Dream with a little courage
You may be angry
But if the unleashing anger only put everybody away
Anger with good reason
