That Works In Your Favor
Just because you've done something,
For a very long time...
Does not mean you have an acquired skill.
Or expertise.
However...
At least you can adapt to routine.
And you are loyal to redundancy.
That deserves a highlight.
Now...
Whether or not this should be considered creative,
Depends upon your ambitions.
And getting out of bed to come here...
Expresses a willingness to embrace change.
But the watching of television with consistency...
I would not regard that as a talent.
I recommend you redo this resumé.
Remove your picture with the ascot.
I understand the presentation.
Add something technical like:

Pehaps then,

I am watching a skylark
flying skyward.
It's famous for its song.
I am sitting here, on the top of a wall, and

Where Does The Time Go?
Ive got a great big problem that I cant fix.
I think its quarter to three when its half past six.
Everythings early or way too late.
Now I never can remember the day and the date.
Never used to be this much trouble before.
I used to watch the clock but not anymore.
I used to keep track of the time Id lose,
But now the whole thing has me so confused.
I have to find a new job every week or so,
cause no one needs a man whos always fast or slow.
Still youll get no complaint from me,
But what can the answer be?
Where does the time go when Im with you?
How many hours do I lose every day?
They recombine when Im missing you,
Slowing me down like a digital delay.

Why does it seem like theres never enough?
Its just like Im living split in two.

Empty Picture Frame
An empty picture frame sits upon my desk
Where once upon a time a picture in it did rest
But now the frame stands lifeless and bare
Now it reminds me of a love that once was there.
As in the past the picture brought me happiness and joy
Gave me the reason to live and to write my story
To glance upon and dream of when no one was near
To speak the words of love when them she couldn't hear.
But when she left me I threw her picture away
But I kept that frame to remind me of that day
In remembrance of what she did in and out of my sight
As she was my candle but she blew out that light
So that picture frame I keep it in my plain view
So every time I see it I know what to say and what to do
As once upon a time her picture was in the frame
But now picture is gone but the memories still remain.
