People Expect Too Much From Me
aug,11,2010
people expect me to be perfect,
because i'm smart,
people expect me to get good grades,
because of all the hard work i put in,
people expect me to have my own business,
because i can be talented and creative,
people expect me to be a push over,
rather than a girl who speaks her mind,
people expect me to be something i'm not,
but all i can be is only myself,
people expect me to deal with life,
i can only deal with it the best i can,
people expect me to handle more than i can,
but who is it really for or what do i have to prove?
people expect me to be who they want,
but did they ever stop to think of what i wanted?

Expect No Mercy
If youre ready for the street
You wanna mix it in some fight
Let me tell you somethin
Now I dont wanna get you uptight
But if youre in a corner
And you cant find no way out
Dont look around for no help
No, no there wont be any around
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
So you think you got a case
And you think you know the score
No you dont wanna listen
You cant be told no more
But waitll you get out there
You better do it right
cause the streets are lined with things that kill
And theyre hidin in the night
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Feel that you can cut it
You think you got the time
Theyll only give you one chance
Better get it right first time
And the game youre playing
If you lose you gotta pay
If you make just one wrong move
Youll get blown away
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy

Expect Your ………….You!
Expect your friend to be not better than you;
Expect your neighbor to not forgive you;
Expect your country not to goad you;
Expect your siblings to but discourage you;
Expect your children to not care for you;
Expect your spouse to rather hinder you;
Expect your love to always forget you;
Expect your home sometimes to ignore you;
Expect your native place to not honor you;
Expect the world to disregard you;
Expect your enemy to well hate you;
Expect your Maker to much love you;
Expect your God to never forsake you;
Expect your Lord and God to never abandon you.

Expect More
Expect more,
From yourself...
Before your self respect,
becomes enclosed
Behind shut doors.
Expect more,
Not less.
When your best,
Has been ignored.
Expect more,
Or you'll be next...
Left when your intentions,
Begin to bore.
Expect more,
From those awake.
But the exchange makes them snore.
Expect more,
If a game played becomes too straight.
And you must be that whore!
To gain the attention,
Some express you adore.
Expect more...
From them and yourself to win.
In this life expect more.
Don't accept what is suspected.
Don't throw tantrums and fits...
Just to keep limits explored!
Expect more!

Bets Then...Were Off
I bet when you came,
You did not expect this.
I can see it in your eyes.
You lick your lips...
As you tremble!
I bet when you came,
You did not expect this?
Exposing myself,
With direct comments.
Saying that I wish,
We would undress,
And have sex!
I bet when you came,
You did not expect this?
But you did expect something.
I saw that hot and wanting to be bothered look,
Immediately.
'I bet when I came,
You did not expect to see me like this,
At all? ' She said.
And I could say nothing,
Since all bets then...were off!

The American people expect more from Congress. They expect fiscal responsibility and common sense. They expect us to return to the pay-as-you-go budget rules that we had enacted in the past that helped us establish a surplus, however briefly.

Hearts are frozen.
An elephant cannot expect mercy
For life from a poacher aiming at it.
A buffalo cannot expect mercy
For life from a butcher about to kill.
Poor patients cannot expect mercy
For billing from a popular surgeon.
Poor people cannot expect mercy
For charging from any professional.
The global warming melts the glazier.
The modern living freezes human hearts.

Yoga Is As Yoga Does
(words & music by nelson - burch)
Well I can see that you and yoga will never do
Yoga is as yoga does theres no in-between
Your either with it on the ball or youve blown the scene
I can see lookin at you, you just cant get settled
How can I even move, twistin like a pretzel
(yoga is, yoga does)
(theres no in-between)
(your either with it all the way) or youve blown the scene
(or youve blown the scene)
Come on come on, untwist my legs
Pull my arms a lot
How did I get so tied up
In this yoga knot
You tell me just how I can take this yoga serious
When all it ever gives to me is a pain in my posteriors
(yoga is, yoga does)
(theres no in-between)
(your either with it all the way) or youve blown the scene
(or youve blown the scene)
Stand upside down on your head, feet against the wall
A simple yoga exercise done by one and all
Now cross your eyes and hold your breath, look just like a clown
Yogas sure to catch you if you come falling down
(yoga is, yoga does)
(theres no in-between)
(your either with it all the way) or youve blown the scene
(or youve blown the scene)
(yoga is, yoga does)
(theres no in-between)
(your either with it all the way) or youve blown the scene
(or youve blown the scene)

To me, when people don't expect much of you talent-wise, and then they come to one of our shows, it probably makes the show better for the person because they got something they didn't expect.
Just a soldier
I am not perfect,
nor is anyone.
noone is always right,
everyone is sometimes wrong.
So don't expect a hero,
don't expect a knight.
don't expect perfection,
for i am just a man.
I am not a hero,
but nor am i a fool.
i am just a man,
in a soldier's uniform.
Do not try to fight me though,
theres power hidden inside.
strength is not as important,
as the power thats inside.
So dont expect a hero,
don't expect a guide.
just expect a soldier,
with power deep inside.

Blue Beret
Life is sometimes shorter than you think
So take yourself a hike from the kitchen sink
Me, I like to roam
Wasnt built in a day
And night throws the stars in our way
Meanwhile on planet earth
Some people are dying for the right to say
Some people are dying cause the other people busy blowing them away
Well, were all dying so we better have a ton of fun along the way
I say hats off, get your hats off, take your hats off, get your hats off
For the blue beret
Blue beret, blue beret
The wind has blown it off his head
And sent it spinning straight to nowhere
Nowhere to get ahead in this life
Life is sometimes longer than you need
Especially if its thrown away on hate and greed
Well, me I like to think while the other fish swim
But sharks made a meal out of him
Meanwhile on bone dry land
Some people are dying for the right to say
Some people just want the right to say
Some people are dying cause the other people busy blowing them away
Some people are merely blown away
Well, were all dying so we better have a ton of fun along the way
I say hats off, take your hats off, get your hats off, take your hats off
To the blue beret
Blue beret, blue beret
The wind has blown it off his head
And sent it spinning straight to nowhere
Nowhere to get ahead in this life
So just love your dog and dont kick your wife
Put down that knife, watch out the windows,
And blow your hat away

Expect That Snoop To Pooh Pooh You
Leaking info from a hunch.
Heard when you are passing people.
Only proves you are nosy...
Just like the people you pooh pooh.
Then you get your knickers bunched.
When you are thought to be a gossip.
But what you do to the people,
Expect that to be done right back to you.
When you snoop and pooh pooh people...
Expect that snoop to pooh pooh you.
When you snoop and pooh pooh people...
That pooh pooh that you're doing aint cool.
Leaking info from a hunch.
Heard when you are passing people.
Only proves you are nosy
Just like the people you pooh pooh.

Why Do You Expect?
Why do you expect God
to make you happy?
Why do you expect God
to provide all your material needs?
Why do you expect God
to fulfill all desires of your heart?
When you will not obey
all the commandments of God?
When you will not even try?

Sonnet: My Good Work Belongs to God
My work belongs to God and God alone;
I don’t expect rewards or citations;
If God allows it, it will come, one by one;
For long, I don’t expect imitations.
If I wish to tell people who God is,
And make them understand His love for Man;
I wish to them remind of Heaven’s Bliss;
That reaching it with ease, everyone can.
The words I write come from my mind and heart,
Inspired by good thoughts that God gives me;
Let people understand them through my art
And praise the Creator, wholeheartedly.
Let it help them to live, my Poetry,
And go to fruition like a healthy tree.

Seeking Attention of That Kind Has Been Fed
I don't expect your praise.
In fact...
I don't expect you to acknowleged anything I do.
I am not on that mission.
Seeking attention of that kind has been fed.
However...
What I do expect,
Is a clue you know something about self respect.
And so far I suspect,
We both have become disappointed.
