Familiars
In the darkness
They send chills down my spine
The bare descending moon
Has burst into life
Hunting and suffering with prisoned eyes
Familiars play in moonlit skies
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
The nerves from the creatures
That you receive
Black magic is here
Bow down to it's knees
No emotion, Familiars can grasp
The adrenaline rush takes over so fast
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
These blue hearts
They will scream
They will scream
You feel them screaming, mourning in the shadows
They will scream...
* This is a song I wrote in my band, the structure and repetition would make more sense if i sung it to you but I'm quite proud of this one =)

Passing Clouds
Those I admired in my teenage are no more.
Those I admired in my middle age are old.
Those I admired later are out of the screen.
The ones I admire now are in their teen age.

How to Name Your Familiar
When the devil brings him,
like a Christmas puppy,
examine his downy fur & smell
his small paws for the scent
of sulphur.
Is he a child of hell?
O clearly those soft brown eyes
speak volumes
of deviltry.
O surely those small pink teats
could suckle witches.
O those floppy ears
hear only the devil's hissing.
O that small pink tongue
will lick & lick at your heart
until only Satan may
slip in.
A fuzzy white dog?
Name him Catch.
A little black kitten?
She is Jamara.
A tiny brown rabbit?
Call her Pyewackett.
Beware, beware-
the soft, the innocent,
the kingdom of cuddly ones-
All these
expose you to the jealous tongues
of neighbors' flames,
all these
are the devil's snares!
Familiars familiars-
there is hellfire lurking
in the softest fur,
brimstone in the pinkest tongue,
damnation everlasting
in a purr.

A person needs at intervals to separate himself from family and companions and go to new places. He must go without his familiars in order to be open to influences, to change.

Number One
Honesty is often admired.
And in privacy...
Those known to be that way,
Are more than welcomed.
But an honesty admired,
That becomes publicly outspoken...
Around others unfamiliar with it,
Can stun them and have them run.
Most people rather not be shown,
Associated with it.
Most people collectively,
Choose to be accepted.
And today no one wants to feel shunned.
Knowing until an approval of honesty,
Has yet to be done.
Since currently dishonesty for many is number one.

A Man
he is a young man. Tall and smooth
and admired by Time and
favored by tolerance. He walks briskly along
the city street, and goes inside a place
where the flowers of his youth
are being admired.
young women recite him as a
love verse, his eyes become their visions
his muscled sensuality, his tight body
stir the imagination of those who
want to be beautiful too
till the end of this busy day.

Relentless
You wanna be this.
You wanna be that.
You wanna be considered,
As a fed big fat cat.
You want to be admired,
To inspire dreams and hopes.
You wanna be more...
Than average folk.
You wanna insist persistence lifts.
And it can!
And it will.
Since you are not one to stand still!
To wish for a want,
You know you can fulfill!
And the power of your 'will'...
Delivers your wants to feed a feast!
Increased by a relentless release of desire!
Scorching a path,
Burning and admired!
And I choose to remain...
Sizzling,
In the ceasless heat of your fire!
My heart yearns to share your constant flame!
Undaunted by the swiftness licked...
Envisioned by the goal that's aimed!
And soaring to spiral even higher.
I am dripping wet...
And there enjoying this sweat I love!

I Own Them
Are my two balls
Too big for you?
When they are exposed and admired...
Do you become ashamed
You have none to show too?
You want your friends to believe,
You wear the pants in here!
I played along with you for years...
But it is what it is,
And if I would leave...
You would be in tears.
They are loved,
And you like them there!
Hanging in front of your nose.
Just as they appear!
So why are you letting small town talk
And gossip you hear...
Make you feel these balls and not for you,
And near!
Are my two balls
Too big for you?
When they are exposed and admired...
Do you become ashamed
You have none to show too?
If you let me be the man I am
And not one just to screw...
Like your friends and neighbors
Tell you they do
Behind the backs of their spouses,
And that's a fact that's true!
It will be much better...
If you decided I own them!
They are mine,
Hanging in front of my behind!
And they are there to share with you.
Anytime you've got an hour or two!

Equal reactions
Time was not far
To leave whom you’d wooed,
To abandon whom you’d craved
And to skip whom you’d admired
Time was not far
To leave who’d wooed you,
To abandon, who’d craved you,
And to skip, who’d admired you.
Time was not far
For those who would abandon,
Who would desert you
Or who would at least slip from you.

~not Easily Broken~
a love freely offered
by a courageous heart
is eagerly admired and
marvelled over as
a rare find
a precious treasure
reverently encased
behind fine glass
and placed on a pedestal
appreciated for
its beauty
its purity
its innocence
from a far
but remains
fearfully unaccepted
by a Soul
blinded by the
deceptions of fear
that whisper lies
of unworthiness
though geatly desired
by this troubled Soul
the love freely offered
by the courageous heart is
rejected at every offering
each rejection
inflicting pain
upon this tender fragile heart
in its naivity
its ever hopeful state
is easily hurt
and easily bruised
yet the Soul
of this tender courageous heart
though admired for
its beauty
its purity
its innocence
it is disconnected
and remains alone
and often lonely
yet perseveres
beyond the rejection
still hurt and bruised
but not easily broken
for the Soul of the tender heart
longs to be taken
from behind the bevelled glass
no longer admired or treasured
as a rare find
but cherished
and loved in return

House Or Window Flies
These little window dwellers, in cottages and halls, were always
entertaining to me; after dancing in the window all day from sunrise
to sunset they would sip of the tea, drink of the beer, and eat of the
sugar, and be welcome all summer long. They look like things of mind
or fairies, and seem pleased or dull as the weather permits. In many
clean cottages and genteel houses, they are allowed every liberty to
creep, fly, or do as they like; and seldom or ever do wrong. In fact
they are the small or dwarfish portion of our own family, and so many
fairy familiars that we know and treat as one of ourselves.

Love Unrequested
The lady across the road had beautiful grey hair, thick and
glossy, I admired her mane because she was eighty five.
Her hubby about her same aged died, I attended the funeral,
open casket, in death he looked handsome, old man asleep.
When people get old some do not realize how old they are,
and the old lady, since I had admired her lovely hair, thought
we could be a couple; only I was fifty two at the time and not
overly interested. The lady took offence felt humiliated since
she already had told the villagers I loved her.
A day when I was doing a bit of weeding around the house
She came out; called me a womanizer hit me with her umbrella.
Well I´m not heroic, fled into the house and bolted the door;
and the villagers were greatly amused. She moved to a rest
home and I could go out without being assaulted. I read in
the paper she had just died at hundred and five, but I will not
attend her funeral….I think.
