'Promiscuous' implies that I'm not choosy. In fact I'm very choosy. I just happen to have had a lot of choices.

Well, I have a couple of projects in the pipeline, but I'm taking things slow for now and being choosy about the roles I take up. One thing I can assure you of is that you are going to see a lot of me!

Miscellaneous
he collected stamps
of various colors and kinds
those that he really liked
or loved
and keep them all
in one album
he is called
promiscuous
despite the fact
that he never
tore any stamp
or anybody
he need not worry
promiscuous is
just the synonym
for miscellaneous

My Age
my age is not a number.
it is the manner of gathering
words
now more careful and
choosy,
not really cool, but
just faithful
to the nuances of
every syllable
my age speaks only
for itself
since no one listens
and i am aware
about this incoming
calmness
the boring day
when you say
that i am more
irrelevant to your
presence.

The Reason
the reason
why i do not
eat alone
and sleep
alone is not
my handsome
form or my
innate wit
and choosy
sense of humor
it is just
that i am
meant
to be shared
my hands
open
wanting
someone
to hold
my arms
open
always needing
someone
to embrace
i am designed
for hugs
my lips
for kissing
and i think
i will never learn
again
the pain
of learning
how is it
to be alone
and feel
that i am
dying

Woman is irresistible.
Irresistible is a woman’s request
For a lift; so is her offer of love.
You may be choosy to love a woman
But can’t resist a woman’s love shown.

Embracing Everything
at first to be frank with you
i am choosy: friends and circles
i go for only two to three
not four
for they will be too many
and expensive to maintain
at a certain level
of intimacy and familiarity
i change like the ordinary rest
one gets lonely
sometimes and needs a broader
circle of friends
somewhere where you float
and not settle
where you hop from one island
to another and feel
the excitement of
not being true at all
playing a lot of game
learning new ones
embracing everything
a friend to all
but not to anyone anymore
one learns again
to be alone in the mob
of faces
a sea of people
you begin to sail
as a boat
for all
a seagull...among
all.

Our Eyes
Have you seen
How quickly
Our eyes close
When they
See our own
Faults?
And how quickly
They pop out open
When they guzzle in
Others' faults?
Our eyes open
Wide and shut.
They are very
Choosy about
Our faults ;)
Being partial
Towards us,
But unsparing,
Towards others.

With An Unabashed Bragging Done
You have a beautiful home,
Landscaped in a wonderful setting.
You have a family and prized possessions,
And investments you have made...
That have returned to you sweet dividends.
You drive a very nice car.
And your taste in fashion is exquisite.
You receive countless social invitations,
With an unabashed bragging done...
Whenever I visit.
And yet...
You express an insecurity about that,
Which implies an unhappiness.
I have none of your 'assets' to impress.
But...
I am thrilled.
And this seems to make you upset.
My path and direction taken,
Has had nothing to do with you.
Is there something about my own decisions made...
You believed I secretly,
Competed with you with something to prove?
And I have accomplished 'that' which I said I would do?
What is it?
'I was hoping you would fail.
In fact,
You have made me feel the fool.'
Well...
You did make that your choice.
And those choices you have made,
Surround you too.
We all make our choices.
Some are not so pronounced,
As those of others...
Who love to show and tell with a strut.

Our Years
the years make us familiar
it is the contempt that brings us closer
to the extent of disrespect
as i am eating my meal
you cut your fingernail
on the table
but i do not mind
precisely my thoughts are flying
like birds away
from you
the tunnel of silence without light
visible at the end
you must wonder
why my words are getting nil
and i have too
become choosy on what to say
i still have respect
for myself and will not be swayed
at telling you
the truth of how those years have
expunged
what bad taste is there
for lips which have nothing to offer
for bodies that are warm
yet devoid of love
and meaning.

Stream Of Destiny
Two woman for a man
A dreamer can dreamer can't he
A great boost to his self esteem
The picture painted for its beauty
Sometimes you can be choosy
Relief is coming from such a boring reality
Dose the fire in gasoline
The heat is extreme
The embers glow and beam
As all smiling faces should
Illusions in practice can be good
A fly by night under the moonlight
Feeling something that just feels so right
Not seeking any guidance for that catastrophe
What will be will be
Let me flow into the stream of destiny
With no complaints but those of my own doing

‘O' Djinny Of Sweet Love
She hid in my mind,
My inner eyes can see.
O my eyes! You can't find
Always she is with me.
She assured and left,
To greet me at home,
Her promise I kept.
Guarding like a gnome.
I am not a love oozy
But I love her most,
I am not a love choosy
But I was her love host.
‘O' Djinny of sweet love!
A sweet song of my dream.
I lost my love dove,
Blinded with lost beam.
