No one in government should ever think that the citizens they work for can't or won't scrutinize their actions.

A Good Citizen
When i hear someone referred to as a good citizen i feel like laughing aloud
Your government approves of you big brother of you proud
But if you die tomorrow the government won't care
To them you are just a number and your type are not rare,
The government and big brother you do not need to impress
Their approval or disapproval will not ease your cares and stress
The one who is a good friend to the neighbour is surely far more great
Than the one big brother looks upon as a good friend of the State,
The good citizens pay their taxes and work hard for their pay
And they vote in a lousy Government on National election day
And good citizens dob in their fellow citizen to the police for a minor traffic offence
In their quest for big brother's approval they sacrifice common sense
And many more good citizens they passed away today
They worked hard and voted in a lousy government and their taxes they did pay.

Scrutinize
Scrutinize it.
Don't accept anything to force a fit.
Just scrutinize it.
Scrutinize.
Scrutinize it.
Don't accept anything to force a fit.
Just scrutinize it.
Scrutinize.
Open up those eyes.
Scrutinize.
Don't leave to beliefs.
Scrutinize.
To accept and keep.
Scrutinize.
What you can't reach with your two feet.
Open up those eyes.
Scrutinize.
Don't leave to beliefs.
Scrutinize.
To accept and keep.
Scrutinize.
What you can't reach with your two feet.
To examine, rid or receive.
Scrutinize it.
Scrutinize!
Don't accept anything to force a fit.
Just scrutinize it.
Scrutinize!
Scrutinize it.
Let them go to whoop!
Or holler in a group.
You scrutinize.
With open eyes.
Let them go to whoop!
Or holler in a group.
You scrutinize.
With open eyes.
You scrutinize!
Don't accept anything to force a fit.
Just scrutinize it.
Scrutinize.
Scrutinize it.
Don't accept anything to force a fit.
Just scrutinize it.
Scrutinize.
Open up those eyes.
Scrutinize.
Don't leave to beliefs.
Scrutinize.
To accept and keep.
Scrutinize.
What you can not reach,
With your own two feet.
To examine,
Rid...
Or receive.
Don't criticize!

In the Federal Government, electronic records are as indispensable as their paper counterparts for documenting citizens' rights, the actions for which officials are accountable, and the nation's history.

Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms. This is not to say that firearms should not be carefully used and that definite safety rules of precaution should not be taught and enforced. But the right of the citizens to bear arms is just one guarantee against arbitrary government and one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible.

In addition, as citizens, we must fight in their incipient stages all movements by government or party or pressure groups that seek to limit the legitimate liberties of any of our fellow citizens.

A timeline for bringing U.S. troops home that is negotiated with the Iraqi government would also boost the Iraqi government's legitimacy and claim to self-rule, and force the Iraqi government to take responsibility for itself and its citizens.

All of us should have free choice when it comes to patriotic displays... a government wisely acting within its bounds will earn loyalty and respect from its citizens. A government dare not demand the same.

The teaching of politics is that the Government, which was set for protection and comfort of all good citizens, becomes the principal obstruction and nuisance with which we have to contend. The cheat and bully and malefactor we meet everywhere is the Government.

Somewhere along the line, the actions of this government are the actions of me.
We want to reduce the size of government in half as a percentage of GNP over the next 25 years. We want to reduce the number of people depending on government so there is more autonomy and more free citizens.

Insurgents have capitalized on popular resentment and anger towards the United States and the Iraqi government to build their own political, financial and military support, and the faith of Iraqi citizens in their new government has been severely undermined.

The real truth is that the Obama administration is professional at bullying, as we have witnessed with ACORN at work during the presidential campaign. It seems to me they are sending down their bullies to create fist fights among average American citizens who don't want a government-run health care plan forced upon them.

“hit ‘em Where It Hurts”
“Occupy Cities” calling for a “General Strike”
Asking that citizens engage in nothing taxable
To send a message to the 1% they won’t like
To let them know that “Greed is off the table”
ROTMS
“Why will a General Strike work?
Simple:
It attacks the government in a lawful, peaceful manner in the one way they cannot counteract:
It cuts off their funding!
You can't tax what doesn't happen, basically. This is the people's way to peacefully withdraw consent to being governed.
You buy nothing, you perform no work, you do nothing that is taxable.”

We' Are 'Keyed' Expeditiously
IF you or 'I' had information that would upset...
The national security,
Of this government.
We would quickly be arrested.
And silenced our protests.
I doubt with seriousness...
If our actions would be gleefully consented!
And 'if' I released documents over the internet...
Anyone should make and get,
A guaranteed winning bet...
My next steps would take place,
In an infested cell with no visiting guests!
But these actions I mention,
Have been done by a respected service...
Known to almost everyone.
And the government has 'yet'...
To prevent or stop these threats,
By an internet service...
That is public accessed!
And you and I...
Are daily wiretapped,
With movements watched....
As our human rights go neglected and unprotected!
And 'we' are 'keyed' expeditiously!
With no peace to welcome.
Or sleep to rest!
