I am surprised that I cannot recall whether my desire to become a minister transformed itself into a wish to lead the more militant life of missionary, by a slow process or suddenly.

Wishes To Walk Proud
Militant?
MILITANT? ?
What in the hell does that mean?
When the deeds of my ancestors
And my wishes to walk proud...
Are about to be wiped off the face of the Earth,
Because you can not stand up...
And with guts,
Be who you are! ?
Militant?
I am no militant!
Nor am I a spineless piece of shit,
Either!

Why Is My Heart Surprised?
for my dad, the quiet captain of life
Why is my heart surprised?
I can break gravity
Skipping that happy child dance
Then I remember that blue tag
Hanging from my windshield mirror...
Why is my heart surprised?
Walking hand and hand with my dad
Delighting in those wondrous aero-antics...
Then I recall that those Blue Angels
Gave way to flights on the Wings of Eagles...
Why is my heart surprised?
Walking together each afternoon
On those Castaway docks
A strawberried toddler reciting,
Hammerhead, Bull Dolphin, Weakfish, Grouper
Then I remember my Captain sold his vessels
No more are those rocking tuna towers
Seen from those Sandy Shores of Miami..
Farewell, Spindle beak, Farewell Noble Shark...
Why is my heart surprised?
Flying in that squirrelly little tail-dragger
No more Luscombe tales, no more Eastern Flights
No more shouting in that noisy sky...
Piper Cub two o'clock!
Then I remember Carcinoid
Grounded my dear pilot..
Why is my heart surprised?
Suddenly, my heart caught my mind..
Today I recall...sadly,
My head informed my heart
I am no longer skipping that happy child dance
Instead...suddenly my heart
Is turkey ~ necked, old and tired...
Farewell, dear captain, Farewell, dear daddy...

With Variance
Nothing is going to drain
When you realize the life mission of its own
We are here only as missionary
Must lead simple life as visionary
If not then trust only almighty
He may feel mercy and pity
We are destined to suffer and enjoy
Life must be seen as instrument of struggle and joy
Life is not in your hand
That is defined and destined
You can’t lead it as imagined
You have limits and totally confined
All good and bad things are observed
You may get honor if deserved
Nothing will come to you by surprise
It will be only when you come out true with promises
So lead it for others and rule the kingdom
Such chances come rarely or seldom
We must exploit it as per clear conscience
Life will be presented you with variance

Missionary Man
Well I was born an original sinner.
I was borne from original sin.
And if I had a dollar bill
For all the things Ive done
Thered be a mountain of money
Piled up to my chin...
My mother told me good
My mother told me strong.
She said be true to yourself
And you cant go wrong.
But theres just one thing
That you must understand.
You can fool with your brother -
But dont mess with a missionary man.
Dont mess with a missionary man.
Dont mess with a missionary man.
Well the missionary man
Hes got God on his side.
Hes got the saints and apostles
Backin up from behind.
Black eyed looks from those Bible books.
Hes a man with a mission
Got a serious mind.
There was a woman in the jungle
And a monkey on a tree.
The missionary man he was followin me.
He said stop what youre doing.
Get down upon your knees.
Ive got a message for you that you better believe.
(chorus repeats...)

Consumed Within the Process
Consumed within the process
That process we call life.
Immuned? Not from this process.
It keeps the vision near yet uncompromised.
And far enough to become realized.
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
Consumed within the process.
That process we call life.
Immuned?
Not from this process!
It keeps the vision near yet uncompromised.
And far enough to become realized.
Closing its eyes only when it wishes,
To call itself out!
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
It keeps the vision in precision,
Until it's in 'all' sights.
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!
It keeps the vision in precision,
Until it's in 'all' sights.
Consumed.
Within the process.
Just consumed.
Within the process this process.
Consumed.
Within the process.
That process called life!
Don't assume...
This process,
Is a process you can't like!

Will He Take The Mark?
The Rapture of the Church of Christ came suddenly one day!
Too many billions were surprised when God took them away!
Finances transformed overnight when leaders were confused...
The Antichrist now came in sight and smiled and smirked, amused.
For now he knew his time had come, when he was centre stage,
A Saviour figure held by some, the healer of the age.
And while the wily wolf was thought a genius and more,
His spider's web had many caught, this peaceful Man of war...
Yet I lived on, transformed, reborn, Yeshua saved my soul.
The Golden Age about to dawn, King Jesus to control.
Yeshua had the sovereign right, forgiveness to bestow,
Into this world He brought God's light that darkness couldn't know.
When I found out, I warned my friend, 'Don't take the mark! ' I said.
'For God has prophesied his end, as if already dead...'
But my friend laughed and bid farewell. I watched him walk away...
He took the mark and went to Hell when God sent Judgment Day...

Lead Balloon
Kiss my ass! I said
And I threw my drink
Tequila trickling
Down his business suit
Must be the irish blood
Fight before you think
Turn it now
You cant cowtow
You cant undo it
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
An angry man is just an angry man
But an angry woman
Bitch!
I had to ask him for a helping hand
It came with the heart
Of a bonaparte
Of a frozen fish
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon

Never Burn a Bridge That Has Been Easily Given
You've lost your job and home,
The respect of your spouse...
And now your kids roam,
All over the place with hoodlums.
Since they wish not to be alone.
And I am quite surprised you've come to me.
I've lived for years on a fixed income.
And my life is lived basic and happily.
You told me once I had a life you could not live.
So glad I am blessed to have it...
And sorry to learn your life is the way it is.
I am sure there will be many lessons,
You will come to learn.
There was one you taught me yourself.
Never burn a bridge that has been easily given.
Especially one you did not earn.
And constructed just for you to cross.
Since one never knows,
When the desire to cross it again will be yearned.
But a connection has been lost.
'That's a lesson I taught to you?
I don't recall saying that.'
You don't have to!
It was my lesson.
And you were there like you are right now,
To keep it fresh as if just taught.

Suddenly
Orbison/melson
Suddenly, my heart stood still
Suddenly, the sight of you gave me a thrill
Suddenly
Suddenly, i see you everywhere
Suddenly, all at once i seem to care for you
Suddenly
So suddenly i found you
To think you were near all the time
I've often been around you
I don't know how i could have been so blind
Suddenly, my world is new
Suddenly, suddenly there's only you
Suddenly
So suddenly i found you
To think you were near all the time
I've often been around you
I don't know how i could have been so blind
Suddenly, suddenly you're my dream come true
Suddenly, suddenly there's only you
So suddenly

Chronology is Bunkum For MY Lady Irene
The garden when the sun has set.
Becomes a very different place.
It is quite easy to forget
the fall of night cannot erase.
The beauty which we see by day.
A garden is a hallowed place.
The moon will rise to show the way
Light granted by the Goddess’ grace.
Moonlight will silver all we see.
My love and walk hand in hand.
The garden transformed magically
into our private fairyland.
The moon is smiling from on high
To see two lovers fond embrace
She knows full well the reason why
gardens by night are filled with grace.
There is a bench where we can sit.
Enjoy the quiet of night
Admire the roses silver lit
by gentle beams of soft moonlight.
The night wind rises turning cold
Remind us that its time for bed
We know that we are growing old
Surprised how quickly years have fled.
We won’t admit to being old.
Bar to each other privately.
Pretending to be young and bold.
Defying age aggressively.
Because you do not need to know.
It’s obvious we are mature
Our way of life sedate and slow.
Though you may guess you can’t be sure.
We won’t be old until we choose.
Determined to stay young at heart
Because we stubbornly refuse
To let the aging process start

It has always surprised me how little attention philosophers have paid to humor, since it is a more significant process of mind than reason. Reason can only sort out perceptions, but the humor process is involved in changing them.

Raging Sea
Sometimes the journey makes you weary
Feels like a long and winding road
Sometimes this life can lose it's meaning
But you might be surprised to find some hope
Maybe you're wondering where love is
You may feel it's far away from here
Maybe you're wondering where I am
You might be surprised to find I'm near
Chorus:
And when your life is tossed and turning
And your on the raging sea
I'll come and pull you from the water
Then you will know that you are free
So if you're stumbling through the valley
Or if you're tempted to give up the fight
Reach out your hand and I will lead you
I will be your strong arm in the night
Repeat chorus

Every path may lead you to God, even the weird ones. Most of us are on a journey. We're looking for something, though we're not always sure what that is. The way is foggy much of the time. I suggest you slow down and follow some of the side roads that appear suddenly in the mist.

Political ideological systems are based on conceptions of the natural life process. They may further or hinder the natural life process. They themselves, however, do not function at the roots of the social process. They may be democratic; in that case they further the natural human life process. They may be authoritarian and dictatorial; in that case they are its deadly enemy.

Stand In The Fire - Mickey Thomas
Whoa
Out in the street
Out in the night
Out on your own
You dont care when
They say its tough
Makin it through
Cos nothing can stop
This dream inside you
In this world, you take your chances
In this world, you do your best
In this life, sometimes youve got to
Chorus:
Stand in the fire
Go to the wire
Dreams and desires
They will lead you home
Whoa
Movin ahead
Straight to the top
To get all you want
You give all you got
Puttin it all
Out on the line
You go to the wall
But you wont mind
Cos its a test
A test of courage
Its a game
You play to win
Gotta face some hard times
But to touch the flame
You know youve got to
Stand in the fire
Go to the wire
Dreams and desires
They will lead you
Stand in the fire
Go to the wire
Dreams and desires
They will lead you home
(guitar solo)
In this world, you take your chances
In this world, you do your best
In this life, sometimes youve got to
(stand in the fire, go to the wire)
(dreams and desire) they will lead you
Stand
Stand in the fire
Go to the wire
Dreams and desire
They will lead you
Stand in the fire
Go to the wire (in this world, you take your chances)
Dreams and desire
They will lead you

Reason
Some people never learn
Keep taking every turn
A little fast
Thinking nothing ever lasts
Descending (?) oh so sweet
Keep playing in my sleep
But when I wake
I can never recall a thing
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Something is crying out
Through voices in my tears
Hear the voice crying out
In the strangest memories
Never mind
And reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Sorry to disappoint you
I never said that I could tell right from wrong
So don't put your faith on me now
I'll leave you in suspension
Till you fall
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this short life that we lead
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
