All sympathy not consistent with acknowledged virtue is but disguised selfishness.

So what we have tried to do in our later buildings is to try to be completely consistent, as a painter is consistent or as a sculptor is consistent. Architecture also must be very consistent.

Accept my sympathy
In all sincerity
It is a pathetic pity
I merely offer sympathy
With such velocity
This sadness born out of the blue
That decides to levy itself on you
In your fixed stillness
I sense your illness
Accept my sympathy
You lost a pet
Somebody made you upset
Accept my sympathy
You lost a friend
Your broken heart is yet to mend
Accept my sympathy
You were once abused
Possibly at times wrongly accused
Accept my sympathy
You marriage is on the rocks
You got divorced, left without a buck
Accept my sympathy
You lost a fortune
Your voice can't sing a decent tune
Accept my sympathy
You lost in love or lost your job
Or perhaps at one stage got robbed
Accept my sympathy
Your life is a mess
Everything around you depresses
Whatever the circumstances
Accept my sympathy
And if I happen to show no sympathy
Please accept my sympathy!

Sympathy
Stranger than your sympathy
And this is my apology
I killed myself from the inside out
And all my fears have pushed you out
And I wished for things that I dont need
(all I wanted)
And what I chased wont set me free
(all I wanted)
And I get scared but Im not crawlin on my knees
Oh, yeah
Everythings all wrong, yeah
Everythings all wrong, yeah
Where the hell did I think I was?
And stranger than your sympathy
Take these things, so I dont feel
Im killing myself from the inside out
And now my heads been filled with doubt
Were taught to lead the life you choose
(all I wanted)
You know your loves run out on you
(all I wanted)
And you cant see when all your dreams arent coming true
Oh, yeah
Its easy to forget, yeah
When you choke on the regrets, yeah
Who the hell did I think I was?
And stranger than your sympathy
And all these thoughts you stole from me
And Im not sure where I belong
And no wheres home and no more wrong
And I was in love with things I tried to make you believe I was
And I wouldnt be the one to kneel before the dreams I wanted
And all the dark and all the lies were all the empty things disguised as me
Mmm, yeah
Stranger than your sympathy
Stranger than your sympathy
Mmm hmmm mmm

Virtue and Sin
Knowledge is the path that leads to virtue.
Ignorance is the path that leads to sin.
Hope and expectation enhance patience.
Greed is responsible for so many miseries.
Arrogance begets hatred.
Modesty attracts others.
Forgiveness helps to end conflict.
Revenge sows the seed of further retaliation.
Truthfulness makes things crystal clear.
Dishonesty is the way to deprive others.
Jealousy destroys peace of mind.
Kindness brings forth peace.
Sympathy teaches to sacrifice.
Selfishness destroys friendship.
Love is the key to unity
Hate causes war and strife.
So keep the world inside your mind
As if it’s your only child.

Lack of deterrents
Hurting has become a valour.
Mercy was not given a care.
Injustice comes from selfishness.
Sympathy got a burial.
Frustration is the net result.
Explosions can be any time.
Moral deterioration
Mount from lack of due deterrents.

Selfishness and sacrifice
Selfishness and sacrifices,
Like cold and heat, eat each other.
Either extreme would cause damage.
Selfishness is for one’s survival.
Sacrifice is for one’s group’s survival.
To force others to serve your end
Is worse than selfishness; avoid.
Be warm, which is half cold, half hot.

None of This Would Have Been Mentioned
It was only 'after' they acknowledged me,
That you accused me of not telling you.
Whatever it was they had to mention.
But...
I had gone to you first to exclaim my good news.
And you ignored me.
In fact...
You wanted to bring 'that' to my attention!
As I recall.
I didn't approach them at all.
If they had not acknowledged me...
You would not have cared or known.
And I knew that.
Remember this...
I am no stranger.
And if I had been...
I would have gotten your attention.
And none of this would have been mentioned.

Don’t Escape Serving
Selfishness is an inborn trait,
That preserves the self and its babes.
To serve the others also is a part
Of selfishness. Don’t escape it.

And what does reward virtue? You think the communist commissar rewards virtue? You think a Hitler rewards virtue? You think, excuse me, if you'll pardon me, American presidents reward virtue? Do they choose their appointees on the basis of the virtue of the people appointed or on the basis of their political clout?

My Bestfriends The Enemy
hope feeds my obsession
and these pills are my addiction
hide my tourtered skin
scared from all my sin
my hand warpped around your glass neck
keeps me craving more
and when your gone
ill hide you with all my secrets
i found your other face
disguised in my sympathy
im bleeing your betrayl
my mistakes are getting whispered
are you the devil with an angels face?
Sympathy
I don't want nothing
Cause nothing's all you give
I don't need your touch
That could be too much for me
I don't want your lies
Burning deep inside of me
Look into my eyes
I don't want your sympathy
Should've known it was over
Can we still bring back before
As the love is certainly colder
You don't need me any more
Now nothing lasts forever like I said before
I don't want your sympathy no more
I don't want my love
It's been misunderstood
So I think I'm giving up
I can never give it up fair way
I don't want your lies
Burning deep inside of me
Look into my eyes
I don't want your sympathy
I don't want your sympathy
I don't need you here with me
I don't want your sympathy
I can't take it anymore
Because I'm hurt enough before
