Anemic Capitalism

Communism is a fraud
But anemic capitalism aint no saint
The poor and marginalized
Not counted
Just pawns to be exploited

In the richest empire
Schools are on fire
Let the children out
For the penal system
Is a business

Barely covered
The breast cancer mother
Turned away
And away
From her hospital bed
She has two children
But no health insurance
The reporter said

Communism is a fraud
But anemic capitalism aint no saint
The poor and marginalized
Not counted
Just pawns to be exploited

He worked sixty hours a week
At the factory
Could not make ends meet
Tried to organize
And was fired
Last Friday

A real reconciliation of East and West is impossible and inconceivable on the basis of a materialistic Communism, or of a
materialistic Capitalism, or indeed of a materialistic Socialism. The third way will neither be "anti-Communist" nor "anti-Capitalist". It will recognize the truth in liberal democracy, and it will equally recognize the truth in Communism. A critique of Communism and Marxism does not entail an enmity towards Soviet Russia, just as a critique of liberal democracy is not entail enmity towards the west. … But the final and most important justification of a "third way" is that there must be a place from which we may boldly testify to, and proclaim, truth, love and justice. No one today likes truth: utility and self interest have long ago been substituted for truth.

Capitalism attacks and destroys all the finer sentiments of the human heart; it ruthlessly sweeps away old traditions and ideas opposed to its progress, and it exploits and corrupts those things once held sacred.

From History We've Not Learned At All

They have all but rid the World of Communism and given us Capitalism instead
And still millions are living in poverty and millions of children are crying to be fed
And still we have war, terrorism and famines of those will we ever be free
And the gap between the haves and the have nots only widening despite the spread of democracy.

Long gone is the McCarthy era the one who broadcast fear of red
The one who gave rise to the witchhunt of communists under the bed
Yet we still have rank and class distinction for to appease the subservient kind
And still the one eyed king is the ruler of us in the Land of the blind.

And still for God and Country men are warring though the supposed war to end all wars long gone
And still the intolerance of those different amongst the ruling classes live on
And still we have got xenophobia that always lead to crimes of hate
If we are all sisters and brothers how come everyone's not our mate.

We now have the big corporations that only benefit the greedy few
And that a booming economy too benefits the have nots is something that does not ring true
For even in the World's wealthiest Nations you will find poverty in the extreme
And those who talk of an egalatarian World are not realistic 'twould seem.

They have all but rid the World of communism and capitalism is now to the fore
Though poverty is now even more widespread and nothing has changed from days of yore
And still we have wars, terrorism and famines and Empires they rise and they fall
But the lessons of the past we have ignored and from history we've not learned at all.

All fingers are not alike, If you cut bigger ones to make all equal it is communism, If you stretch smaller ones to make all equal it is socialism, If you do nothing to make all equal it is capitalism.

Hansel and Gretel Syndrome Part2(In Reponse To Comment.)

Communism is not the solution.
But neither is capitalism
They are equally flawed.
A good leader of man, is one who is also equal of them.
One willing to get right in the trenches with them.
Many in this country have their own private jets out of both greed and fear.
Not many have ever really worked in their life.
At least not the way I have or do.
Barely making it time after time eats at you.
I know that is judgmental, and I shouldn't say such things.
But capitalism is the rise of the business, not the workers.
All are not equal in trade, when it comes to money that can be made.
Some are so desperately needed and still so underpaid.
The minimum wage slave.
While others which are not necessarily needed for society to function and are robbing us blind.
And we call that a level playing field?
Tell me now who has drunk all the wine?
With crossed eyes the rules have been written and defined.
It is the corruption of the heart and mind.

Again I say we are as Hansel and Gretel, children lost in a very big forest knowing not what evils might lurk.

The Opposite Begins

When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
That one agitated,
Finds an exit and splits.

People known to create conflict,
Seek an attention they don't get...
Until,
The opposite begins.
Opposition steps in.

They pretend a trust to believe,
To have others perceive but...
The opposite begins,
For them.

Wake up and take notice,
That the opposite begins for them.
Those who charade innocence.
The opposite begins for them.
Those masking evil intent.
The opposite begins for them.

When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
Well,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.
And...
That one agitated,
Finds an exit and splits.
But then,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.

That one who's had it,
Splits and runs into love...
To know the opposite begins,
When someone genuine comes in...
To view.

When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
Well,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.
And...
That one who's had it,
Splits and runs into love...
To know the opposite begins,
When someone genuine comes in...
To view.
They want it quick.
And...
When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
To then see someone who genuinely fits,
Well...
The opposite begins pursued.
Oh yes it does.
An opposite begins pursued.

A common danger tends to concord. Communism is the exploitation of the strong by the weak. In Communism, inequality comes from placing mediocrity on a level with excellence.

When she was a small girl, Amanda hid a ticking clock in an old, rotten tree trunk. It drove woodpeckers crazy. Ignoring tasty bugs all around them, they just about beat their brains out trying to get at the clock. Years later, Amanda used the woodpecker experiment as a model for understanding capitalism, Communism, Christianity, and all other systems that traffic in future rewards rather than in present realities.
