I play piano and guitar and I do write my own stuff so to a certain extent I know what I want to do in regards to music. But I'm still finding out what kind of music is my favourite kind to listen to, never mind do myself so I've got a lot of time to find out myself and develop myself as an artist.

Listen To Music
Listen to music
To change your mood
A fast beat
May make you shrewd
Listen to music
Just to relax
A melodious one
May freeze you as wax
Listen to music
Out of some passion
A slow beat
May keep you from tension
Listen to music
With a fresh cool breeze
A divine rythm
May keep you in peace
Listen to music
To keep doctors away
A classic tune
May keep your ail at bay
Listen to music
When your mind goes dull
A Rehman's composition
May cheer you up well
Listen to music
Just before you sleep
A bethoven's melody
May make your's deep
Listen to music
When your worries attack you
Then see those worries
Running out of view
Listen to music
When you turn as a angry hound
Your favourite beat
May cool you down
Listen to music
But when time says ''no''
Sing a song
And live so long

Listen To The Music
Listen to the music
Tom johnston
Dont you feel it growin, day by day
People gettin ready for the news
Some are happy, some are sad
Oh, we got to let the music play
What the people need
Is a way to make em smile
It aint so hard to do if you know how
Gotta get a message
Get it on through
Oh now mama, dont you ask me why
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time
Well I know, you know better
Everything I say
Meet me in the country for a day
Well be happy
And well dance
Oh, were gonna dance our blues away
And if Im feelin good to you
And youre feelin good to me
There aint nothin we cant do or say
Feelin good, feeling fine
Oh, baby, let the music play
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time
Like a lazy flowing river
Surrounding castles in the sky
And the crowd is growing bigger
Listnin for the happy sounds
And I got to let them fly
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time

Lost In The Music
the music you write
makes my mind soar
the music you write
makes me want to dance
the music you write
is like a lullaby
the music you write
makes my heart jump
the music you write
makes me want to hear it again
the music you write
is like a shooting star
the music you write
makes me fall in love with you
the music you write
is like a shower in a drought
the music you write
is like a dream that i don't want to wake up from
i get lost in the music you write

Music to Relax
Every beat, every tone
Music is rhythm of soul
Pop, Jazz and Country
Release all our worries
Music gives life a motion
Music controls every emotion
Music calms the mind

Music – full of imagination
Music has feelings
Music gives life a meaning
A Slow beat is silent word
A fast beat make you shrewd
Every moment its true worth
Music gives life – new birth

Spin in circles round and round

To Play Some Music
Say everybody
And everyone
Weve been waitin, so very long
To play some music
And have some fun
Bring some happiness to everyone
Well come with us and try and learn
Whats on your mind
Open your ears and eyes and lets see what you can find
Youre not so different, I dont mean to be unkind
Somethings unfolding if you really take the time
So let the sun shine
Its just begun
Youve given all you could to anyone
Well dont you lose it
Dont run away
Its getting stronger, day after day
Youre sittin there, you say youre
Waiting for the show
And what you have, and what you
Hear is what you really want to know
Youve only come here cause heres
Nowhere else to go
Were only sorry, that we have
To end the show.
Play some music

The Music Comes And Goes
by: Tripp
the soothing sounds of a piano to a guitar the sounds they make
the feeling It brings when the piano sings playing the strings of a guitar
the times come and goes as the music grows
in the heart of those who play
thinking of that one thing that brings epiphany to that instrument you play
as you hold and take care playing with hopes and dreams the music slips through
and sings
i can't get enough of what it does to me
when i hear that sound that voice
the music she brings to my heart when I'm with her
her voice is the epiphany to my heart
holding on to her the music keeps playing
my heart keeps beating as the music plays
i keep dreaming dreaming holding on hoping this song will never end
dreaming to fall in love with this instrument forever
she is my instrument

The Guitar Man
They call me the guitar man.
Cause I can really bend those strings.
I no longer play in a band,
But I can make my guitar sing.
There ain't nothing I can't play,
I carry music in my soul.
I play better than yesterday,
I can play some solid gold.
My acoustic Alvarez,
Can either sing or cry.
I thank the Lord, that he has blessed,
My guitar and me from on high.
If you're ever down in Texas,
Come and see this guitar man.
I don't look at all like Elvis,
But I do the best I can.
Ask around and you will see.
That I am not so hard to find.
If you hear music, thats where I'll be,
So come on down, if your'e inclined.

My Feelings On Music
Music
The music flows though me,
It's in me all the time,
never leaving.
It's constantly on my mind
I listen to music all day.
It's beautiful melodies
Dance through my head.
I can't ever get them out,
but I don't mind.
I think about music
and my fingers start to itch.
I want to, I need to let my music out.
I start to play,
Everything falls away.

Not The Kind
When I'm away from you
I think about the things you do
And every single day
I hope that love will stay this way
When I'm alone I just worry about you
It shouldn't matter if I'm with or without you
Everybody wants to have a boy like you
And there's not a single guy who doesn't look at you
You're so fine
You're so kind
Can't believe
That you're mine
Heaven sent me love like you
Well I'm not the kind of girl who will play around
Well I'm not the kind of guy who will let you down
So you're not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of girl
We're good when we're together
But it's hard when we're apart
I'm not the jealous kind
But you've been playing with my mind
In every single way
I think about you every day
When I'm alone I just worry about you
You say you love me boy so why should I doubt you
Listen to your heart
There's no mistaking
Listen to your heart
You'll find the truth
Listen to your heart
When life is breaking
Every single answer
Is right there inside of you
Well I'm not that kind of girl
Well I'm not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of girl

Head The Call
Have you been listening, (Listen to the music)
Have you been sleeping (The sermon's in the music)
(The man standing next to you, he must surely be your brother)
(So brother please) heed the call
(The piper he's still piping)
The magic in the music
(The drummer he's still drumming)
The message in the music
(Sweet song of loving you should be singing)
(So brother please) heed the call
Listen to the music, Listen to the music
(Listen to the music) heed the call
(Listen to the music) heed the call
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
(It's still early in our morning)
There's still time for singing
Let's not waste our morning
Join in the singing
The outlaw of the midnight
He all too soon comes winging
(So brother please, please) heed the call
(Listen to the music) (Listen to the music) yeah
(Listen to the music) (Listen to the music) oh oh
(Listen to the music) oh oh oh (Listen to the music)
(Listen to the music)

The Fate of a Musician
Every day I pick up my guitar and just play
I write my own songs with the help of friends
We design music and lyrics we start new trends
Acoustic guitar, electric guitar or 12 strings
These instruments have played my songs and I have grown wings
Soaring and flying watching my creations grow
As the music expands the lyrics just flow
The more I create the more passionate I become
The more I play the more fun we have
Music gives me something to do
Each song I write I will be sure to see through
When I am up on stage standing in the spotlight
I spread my wings, start playing, and take flight!
When the crowd cheers you get a feeling of inspiration
After the gig you’re sitting home alone
You pull out your guitar stick in the headphones
You start strumming, creating your own beat
You sit there all night tapping your feet
The history of music and the sound you create
Brings friends closer together I reckon its more then fate.

Music, Like Love
Music, like love, dear from the heart
Is such gift distinct to play part
In its sensuous role as an art
In building the soul to its start.
Music, like love, makes the world stark
With harmony to render spark,
Placing a wonderful mark,
Bright for life to come out of dark.
Music, like love, evermore lies
Straight to the very light, it cries.
It awakens the soul to rise
Upward to feel its refining guise.
Music, like love, has such a bind.
Ooh, how music does wash the mind
For all tranquility to find.
To the mind, it is very kind.

Music Time
Written by dennis deyoung
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
Hey everybody its music time
Now, you cant expect to figure out how to be cool looking in catalogs, so forget about it
Youve gotta do it the old-fashioned way...fake it!
Yeah!
Play your drum boy!
I like music
The rhythm really gets to me
I cant control it
My feet move automatically
And I like hot licks
The kind I wish that I could play
And when I hear them
I crank the volume all the way
Turn it on
Turn it up
Turn it loud
All the way
I like strangers
Their kindness means a lot to me
They dont ask questions
Dont care about my history
And I like fast girls
I dont know whats come over me
They make me do things
I would not ordinarily
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
All the way
Hear it
Feel it
Like it
Do it do it do it do it
Want it
Need it
Love it
Cant get enough of it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and go for it
All the way......
And I like daydreams
Ive had enough reality
My job is boring
Im overworked and underpaid
I like tv
It stirs up all my fantasies
Girls in tight jeans
Acting so outrageously
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
All the way
Hear it
Feel it
Like it
Do it do it do it do it
Want it
Need it
Love it
Cant get enough of it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and go for it
All the way
Turn me loose, loose!
[guitar solo]
Oh!
I like big things
The size of them impresses me
Just give me plenty
Forget about the quality
And I like fast food
The burgers always taste the same
No snotty waiters,
Escargot or beaujolais
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
Turn it loud
All the way
I hear it
I feel it
I like it
I do it do it do it do it
I want it
I need it
I love it
I cant get enough of it
I hear it
I feel it
I like it
I do it do it do it do it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and bank on it
All the way
Way-ay-ay
Yeah!
Turn it on
Turn it up
Turn it loose
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)

Music & Me
Weve been together for such a long time now
Music, music and me
Dont care wether all our songs rhyme
Now music, music and me
Only know wherever I go
Were as close as two friends can be
There have been others
But never two lovers
Like music, music and me
Grab a song and come along
You can sing your melody
In your mind you will find
A world of sweet harmony
Birds of a feather will fly together
Now music, music and me
Music and me

Rock N Roll Woman
(myles goodwyn)
Published by goody two tunes, inc. - bmi
Get ready baby, when things start to move
Stand out the way, yeah, when she starts to groan
Shes livin her live just as much as she can
Just her and the music of a rock and roll band
Its music that takes her away nearly every day
No folkie, no, is gonna make her feel good
That blue grass music just dont do what it should
That classical gas stuff, well it dont mean a thing
Cause shes only happy in a rock and roll scene
Its the music that takes her away
And the feelin that gets her near most every day
Shes a rock and roll kinda woman
Shes definitely one of a kind, she is
With her neon suspenders, yeah
Sure nuff blows my mind
Rock steady baby, just a keep a movin on
You gotta dance to the music till the musics all gone
And its special, that feelin, that comes over you
And youre stompin your feet and there aint nothin you can do
Its the music that takes her away
She cant stand still when the boys start to play
Cause shes a rock and roll kinda woman
Strictly one of a kind, she is
With her neon suspenders, yeah
Sure nuff blows my mind
Its the music that takes her away
She cant stand still when the boys start to play
Cause shes a rock and roll kinda woman, yeah
Strictly one of a kind, she is
With her neon suspenders, yeah
Sure nuff blows my mind
Shes a rock and roll kinda woman, yeah
Strictly one of a kind, she is
With her neon suspenders, yeah
Sure nuff blows my mind
Alright, come on, do it baby
It feels good, dont care what nobody says
