Ode to Teachers
Ode to Teachers
Teachers are not just people whose job is to teach
Teachers are not just people who grade our papers or stand at the front of the classroom
Teachers are not just people who give us homework
No!
Teachers are part of our life
Never to be forgotten
Teachers are like steps that help us
Help us make it to the top
To be a greater person
To exceed expectations
They prepare us for great outside world
With its stone cold heart
Where if we trip and fall on our face
It will laugh at us
But because of our teachers
Our wonderful teachers
We remember to get back up

Happy Teacher’s Day in India,2010
Teachers teach students to learn;
Teachers show them how to earn;
Teachers guide students to read;
Teachers help them if they need.
Teachers share with pupils, ken;
Teachers show them how to pen;
Teachers train them in most things;
Teachers make them good earthlings!
Teachers mould their character;
Teachers act facilitator;
Teachers are a boon on earth;
Teachers bring students, mirth!
Teachers care for children-wards;
Teachers don’t expect rewards;
Teachers slog throughout life-span;
Teachers make them man / woman.
Teachers are a humble lot;
Teachers make learning, an art;
Teachers perform well their part;
Teachers love students in heart!
Teachers are next to parents;
Teachers are a nation’s wealth;
Teachers make a student great;
Teachers are a must for all.
Revere teachers on this Day;
Thank them truly in some way;
Emulate them, if you may;
‘Give them good health, God’, you pray!
“Happy Teachers’ Day! ”
Most lovingly dedicated to all my teachers,
Living and dead, who made me,
‘What I am, today! ’

Encore!
Rock music is nothing like country, jazz, pop, reggae, and classical.
Rock music is something that is like a band in your head
Rock music is nothing like every other kind of music.
That now has gotten an encore.
Rock Music is something that real people can only hear;
Rock music does not allow posers to hear the real sound.
Rock music may have head bangers, stoners,
Even one of those old guys with the sharpie-d walking canes in the corner.
But Rock music allows only real followers.
Rock music is much like age;
Even though many bands may be getting paid in age, they will still be remembered.
As real Rock Musicians.
Some musicians have not made the best choices,
But does that mean they do not get their fame?
No, even though it may have not been the right way; they will always have
Their Rock band,
Having an encore in their musically fusion heads.

Teachers Affect Eternity
Tolerant, supportive and sympathetic teachers are the best
While most seem ideal, some shouldn't teach at all.
Great teachers find their work fruitful and rewarding
As they pass on their knowledge with love as their call.
Good physical and mental health are important
For teachers must have energy, stamina and determination.
To shoulder their duties as shepherds of thought
Passing on wisdom to each generation.
In the words of Henry Adams, ' Teachers affect eternity
You can never tell where their influence will cease.'
As the teachers of the Bible spread their message
Their students learned of war, faith, love, death and peace.
Teachers world over have the same basic goal
To help others mature, reason, accomplish and grow.
They instruct, inform, debate and discipline
Teaching the rudiments of life we should know.
I did a concert... in September with the Berlin Philharmonic... They're great musicians, and there's always something to learn from them.

It just seem like musicians want to sell a few records and put out a perfume line, and I think it's so sad that there are so many musicians who don't want to change the world... Music has been so much more.

Knowledge Is Power
In the morning watch,
Into the midst of learning;
In the evening tide,
Out of the muse that muses;
A knowledge from a pavement made to achieve success,
Like the tune of a beautiful song.
Say it again,
Write it again,
Sing it again,
Play it again,
Come to ACTION SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL;
A learning environment with love and care.
I do remember, i do remember! !
Like the watchful minutes to the hour when,
I have this loving muse to all who want to learn.
Look!
Over there is ACTION SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL;
A place where knowledge gained is power to you!
I remember,
Like the open window;
With 'deep-green unifrom' to the vegetation.
Now i know,
'Knowledge is power'!
A peaceful atmosphere of love and care to share with you.
To learn,
To know,
Of a muse like rain drops;
With teachers dedicated to serve you all.
Go, tell it on the moutains;
A candle light from MADINA ESTATE where,
Knowledge is power.
Listen oh heavens,
Hear oh earth,
ACTION SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL is around you;
A place where knowledge is acquired through learning.
Of the 'grey-trousers' to the world so sweet,
A candle light of hope;
Of the muse that leads to love,
Like a pleasant wit at hand;
A timely success iy all that you need in life.
This is wher love is found,
This is where people learn to gain,
With hopeful years at school;
I remember,
I remember!
'Grey-trousers like grey hairs;
Where knoeledge abounds to the wise like,
The school itself.
Come to where ACTION SECONDARY TECHNICAL is,
Come to gain your knowledge as well;
Learning,
The day's fair face.
Say it again like,
ACTION SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL;
Like a muse to the world so sweet.
Write it again,
With love and care from the teachers;
Come to this atmosphere where,
Knowledge is power.
A learning place of joy,
To sing to it again and again;
With students and teachers to share their views in,
This royal place of knowledge.
This place of love and care,
This place of a muse that muses;
The day is done when,
You have gained your knowledge.

Life Is Just A Passing Parade
When I was a little boy
I was raised down south in mexico
Nothing ever happened that was new to me
Then one day we saw circus posters on the wall
Suddenly, all my friends and i
We heard a sound
It was loud
Music all around us seemed to make us free
Life is just a passing paradise
Life is just a passing paradise
Everybody started dancing
I never saw so many people having so much fun
Now Im living in this country
And I have got myself a steady job
I keep seeing people happy everywhere
All I get to do is play my guitar
Come on! everybody get together, have some fun
Come on! everybody get together, have some fun
Life is just a passing paradise
Life is just a passing paradise
Everybody started dancing
I never saw so many people having so much fun

Philharmonic
Sit down, and watch me.
I want you, to see me.
As your tv
As your tv
As your tv
Touched by your static.
You see right, right through me
As your tv
As your tv
As your tv
What you hide is what you are,
Have what it takes to be a star, come on.
You say theres beauty in a scar,
Now what a stupid thing you are, sometimes.
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
[Is that what you want?]
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
[Is that what you want?]
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
[Is that what you want?]
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
Slow down.
Zoom in.
Rewind.
Do you get the picture?
Philharmonic.
Philharmonic.
As your tv
As your tv
What you hide is what you are,
Have what it takes to be a star, come on.
You say theres beauty in a scar,
Now what a stupid thing you are, sometimes.
Philharmonic.
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
Philharmonic.
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.
Philharmonic.
After you get what you want you dont want it anymore.

A Warm Welcome to Teachers Today
Gone are the days of Guru-shishya!
Teachers of mettle are on the wane
Most things seem changed in today’s world
Ethics is on a downward trend
Students feel they can learn themselves
The Internet gives a false confidence
But none can be blamed for how things are
Virtues are declining fast!
Yet, teaching is a noble art!
Good teachers are a country’s wealth
Teachers must put their heart, mind, soul
Into teaching – their professional goal!
A teacher must be role-model
A teacher must be exemplary
A teacher must be knowledgeable
A teacher must be dedicated
Let’s change the world of teaching then
Let’s share with love, selflessly ken
Let’s make better all our children
Let’s make the student’s life, heaven!
Let noble thoughts fill teacher’s heart
Let perseverance rule the craft
Let craft become to all an art
Let love of teaching make head-start!

BBC Proms
To be a part of the BBC Proms season,
There are several extremely good reasons.
The majestic building: London’s Royal Albert Hall,
Is one of the greatest concert venues of them all.
Each Season, people flock through its many doors.
Different types of music they have come to explore.
The BBC Proms season attracts audiences young and old.
For this great music festival, a shining torch people always hold.
It gives musicians the chance to showcase the amazing art
Of talented composers from Mahler through to Mozart.
People get the chance to hear works old and new.
By the famous works, especially, the fans are wooed.
Singers and musicians from all over the world,
Come together to take part in this musical pearl.
For nearly two whole months, there are concerts every day.
It really is the world’s greatest celebration of classical music. Yay!
Ladies and gentlemen dressed in their smart attire,
Come to watch musicians, soloists and choirs.
Every year, the musical proceedings simply must,
Be resided over by Sir Henry Wood’s bronze bust.
The final night is world famous for its electric atmosphere.
The sound of music and people singing is what you will hear.
To Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance march, they bob up and down,
All you can see is happy, smiling faces and never a single frown.
People dressed in red, white and blue, the colours of our land,
Experience much enjoyment and the whole event is simply grand.
To the music, concertgoers wave their Union Jacks in time.
They sing along and, by heart, they know every single line.
At the end, the orchestra give a much welcomed encore.
It is always a great pleasure and never ever a chore.
On the Last Night of the Proms, there is much cheer
Signalling the end of the Season for yet another year.

Teacher's Day 2012
Just once a year comes Teacher's Day,
For students to celebrate it;
Show respect, gratitude some way;
As teachers who always befit!
Imparting knowledge to pupils
Is work of noble sacrifice:
Which teachers do all through their lives;
While training them, akin bee-hives!
A world bereft of teachers,
Can one ever imagine?
They do what parents cannot do,
And make the student fit for life!
Should you not wish your teachers dear,
On this memorable day?
And make them feel happy and see
The affection of students, this way!
