Fight
Sometimes there's nothing to feel
Sometimes there's nothing to hold
Sometimes there's no time to run away
Sometimes you just feel so old
The times it hurts when you cry
The times it hurts just to breathe
And then it all seems like there's no-one left
And all you want is to sleep
Fight fight fight
Just push it away
Fight fight fight
Just push until it breaks
Fight fight fight
Don't cry at the pain
Fight fight fight
Or watch yourself burn again
Fight fight fight
Don't howl like a dog
Fight fight
Just fill up the sky
Fight fight fight
Fight til you drop
Fight fight fight
And never never
Never stop
Fight fight fight
Fight fight fight
So when the hurting starts
And when the nightmares begin
Remember you can fill up the sky
You don't have to give in
You don't have to give in
Never give in
Never give in
Never give in

The Good Fight
By: jimmy buffett, j.d. souther
1980
To muhammed ali for twenty years of excitement and entertainment
They talk about their women too much
The women got em so confused
They dont talk about their lives as such
My life is all I got to lose
You take it with a grain of salt
And laugh at the complexities
Theyre good at pickin all the faults
I keep laughin so they dont pick me
Chorus:
Jesus if I had to quit tonight
Id never know if I was wrong or right
But thats just what you get
You got to go the distance
If you want to fight a good fight
Good fight
Keep it up and keep a good fight
Good fight
The telephone begins to ring
That could only be one call
I might as well be on the moon
Standin in the shower stall
Cant believe she picked it up
She didnt know the rules somehow
Then I hear her say hello (hello)
Panic in the grey room now
Chorus:
Jesus if I had to quit tonight
Shed kill me whether I was wrong or right
Thats just what you get
You got to go the distance
If you want to fight a good fight
Good fight
Keep it up and keep a good fight
Good fight
You never know until you try
Its hard to see the side youre on
Some people say Im halfway here
Some people say Im halfway gone
Chorus:
Jesus if I had to quit tonight
Id never know if I was wrong or right
But thats just what you get
You got to go the distance
If you want to fight a good fight
Good fight
Keep it up and keep a good fight
Good fight
All I want is just a good fight
Good fight
Yes its got to be a good fight
Good fight

I Will Help and Fight
As we are the Army of the Lord, so shall we fight,
I will help and fight and bring as many as we can to see the light.
As women in the street go and weep,
I will help and fight to give them a place to sleep.
And as the little children go hungry and cold,
I will help and fight to give them a chance with any problem that may unfold.
While that homeless drunkard is left out on the street,
I will help and fight for them until they make Satan want to retreat.
As there are men and women that go to prison in and out and back to in and out.
I will help and fight to give them a chance to win this bout.

You Can't Take Me
Got to fight another fight - I gotta run another night
Get it out - check it out
I'm on my way and I don't feel right
I gotta get me back - I can't be beat and that's a fact
It's OK - I'll find a way
You ain't gonna take me down no way
Don't judge a thing until you know what's inside it
Dont' push me - I'll fight it
Never gonna give in - never gonna give it up no
If you can't catch a wave then your'e never gonna ride
You can't come uninvited
Never gonna give in - never gonna give up no
You can't take me I'm free
Why did it all go wrong? - I wanna know what's going on
And what's this holding me?
I'm not where I supposed to be
I gotta fight another fight
I gotta fight will all my might
I'm getting out , so check it out
Ya, you're in my way
So you better watch out

Dont Fight It
Live long enough youre bound to find
Moonshinell make a man go blind
Never can tell what the brew will do
But theres times youll wind up feelin so fine
Some women seem to have a knack
Theyll turn you on and leave you flat
Never can tell whos playin for keeps
So tell me now whats holding you back
I know your heart can take it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Itll do your heart so good
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Itll only do you good
Dont fight itll do your heart so good
Do what mama do
Do what daddy do
When you gonna make up your mind
You can run but love will find you
Ready or not here it comes
Some people when they hear a groove
Shake their heads cause they just cant approve
Well I turn up the music till its shakin the sky
Is everybody ready to move
Theres times you wanna shake yourself
Theres nights you wanna yell for help
You can fly when youre standing still
N theres nothing wrong with raising some hell
Tonight were gonna raise it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight itll do your heart so good
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it
Dont fight it

Somethings Gotta Give
Somethings gotta give,
Somethings gotta give
Somethings gotta give
When an irresistible force such as you
Meets and old immovable object like me
You can bet as sure as you live
Somethings gotta give, somethings gotta give,
Somethings gotta give.
When an irrepressible smile such as yours
Warms an old implacable heart such as mine
Dont say no because I insist.
Somewhere, somehow,
Someones gonna be kissed.
So en garde who knows what the fates have in store
From their vast mysterious sky?
Ill try hard ignoring those lips I adore
But how long can anyone try?
Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight it with all of our might,
Chances are some heavenly star spangled night
Well find out as sure as we live
Somethings gotta give, somethings gotta give,
Somethings gotta give.
Fight, fight, fight it with all of our might,
Chances are some heavenly star spangled night
Well find out as sure as we live
Somethings gotta give, somethings gotta give,
Somethings gotta give.
Somethings gotta , somethings gotta give

Give Me A Cause To Fight For
Give me a cause to fight for I'll fight for it as long as the cause is worthy and just
As long as the cause it does not entail violence or secrecy that does lead to mistrust
As long as the cause is of benefit to others like the forgotten children of the lesser god
Poor refugees who flee from war and famine the Stateless and the homeless and downtrod.
Give me a cause to fight for I'll fight for it though not in any violent way I'll fight
On Human Rights one never should stay silent to live free of persecution should be everybody's right
Even in some so called Democratic Countries political prisoners are being tortured and subjected to the worst of mental as well as physical abuse
All crimes against humanity are abhorrent and for them there cannot be an excuse.
Give me a cause to fight for I'll fight for it as it should be every Human Being's right to live free
Of religious and racial discrimination and of hunger, Homelessness and poverty
We often hear in post war propaganda they have their freedom now that the war is won
But those who say such things never realize that freedom never does come through the barrel of a gun.
Give me a cause to fight for I'll fight for it though I'll fight the fight with words and words alone
I am not without sin I am just a sinner so I won't be the first to cast the stone
In this so called age of enlightenment people's Human Rights upon are still trampled and bad things happen behind the prison wall
So give me a cause to fight for and I'll fight for it I will speak out for a fair go for all.

We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Tooth And Nail
I'm tired of all this cheap talk
When you walk next to me
They say I ain't good enough for you
Why don't they come and tell me
When they see us out in the night
They can't wait to tear us apart
Now I hear them saying lovin' you ain't right
Well they'd better be ready 'cause honey I'll be there
I will fight tooth and nail
Count on me, I will not fail you
I will fight tooth and nail
They say I'm always breaking promises
And I'm just fooling with you
Then they try and come between the two of us
Man, that's a bad thing to do
I can say I had more than enough
But I ain't gonna take it too hard
I said hey, they want to play rough
Well let's see who backs down when the trouble starts
I will fight tooth and nail
Count on me, I will not fail you
I will fight tooth and nail
Come on try me, I won't give in
They take advantage, but they can't win
I'll be your man, baby, wait and see
Ain't nobody, nobody take your love from me
I will fight tooth and nail
I was wrong, I will not fail you
I will fight tooth and nail
I'll be your man, baby, wait and see
Ain't nobody, nowhere take your love away from me
I will fight tooth and nail
Count on me, I will not fail you
I will fight tooth and nail
Right now, tooth and nail
I am waiting for the fight
Tooth and nail
Right now, c'mon, tooth and nail
Right now, tooth and nail
C'mon, tooth and nail
Ah fight
Tooth and nail
Right now, c'mon, tooth and nail
C'mon, right now, tooth and nail

Fight
Hey
Wheres your faith for jesus
Um hmmmm
Um hmmmm
Um hmmmm
Um hmmmm
You think I dont understand
You think your baby dont know whats goin on.
How come everyone keeps telling me what my own two eyes should see.
Wheres your faith in me?
1- I still got love for you.
And Im still gonna pray for you.
And still got hope for you.
And Im still gonna make my move.
I dont care what they say to you.
Still got a thing to do.
Fight is all I knew.
So what am I supposed to do.
2- as Im willing to fight (fight!) fight for you.
Didnt come all this way, just to lose.
Didnt give you my heart so you could break it.
Were gonna make it.
Even if I have to fight for you.
Um hmm (huh!)
Say um hmmm (huh!)
Um hmm (huh!)
Ummm
Freedom is a basic right (basic right)
You cant take whats mine (take whats mine)
I wont let nobody hold me down.
Gotta fight
Gotta keep my dignity (hey)
Gotta do what I believe
Cant you stand up to them, take a stand (hey)
Repeat 1
Repeat 2 twice
Oh
Cuz I will if I have to
If I have to I will
You know I will if I have to.
If I have to I will.
You know I will if I have to.
If I have to I will.
Oh Im not gonna stand here watchin
Stand here and watch you turn your back on me
Said Ill fight for you baby.
Ooh ho
Oh ho
Oh hmm
Oh hmm

Love, Light And Trust
I have accepted, I have the faith, I am only one.
We must all battle until the fight is won.
Creative thoughts from spiritual bliss,
Are moments in time you do not want to miss.
Our lord brings us Love, Light and Trust,
Without these we would all be lost.
We are all taught to love one another,
We need to walk in peace with no false cover.
Love, to hold, to be comforted, to mutually care,
Light, to see through the darkness, to see what's truly there
Trust, to accept the Lords word as gospel, to believe,
Love, light, and trust needs to be righteously conceived.
Keep on keeping on, and fight the good fight
We have love, light and trust, and the end is in sight.
Accept and be accepted into the arms of our savior,
With this simple task you will put our future in favor.

When life has turned you bitter, and truth you see no more.
We all fight our battles,
we all fight our wars.
We all open chasms,
we all close the doors.
Fight while you can,
fight while you might.
Fight but in vain,
against one's own loveless light.
Victory but a veil,
of lies, treacheries and deceit.
Lie to yourself. Go on,
we all do.
A Christian has no right being in a fight unless it's a spiritual fight.

Why We Fight
Why We Fight?
We Fight for freedom
We fight for family
We don't fight for a corrupt leader
We fight because it is right
We choose to fight for ourselves
We are Freedom Fighters
They take our family
They take our freedom
They take our money
They destroy our village
They are animals
This is why we fight

You Gotta Fight
Little girl in these changing times
You got to move on or left behind
Every day is a battle again
And the state of future looks so damned
... ... allright
And if you get it right
...
...
...
Well you just got to fight for what you want
You got to fight for what you want 2x
For what you want
...
Every guide (or better 'guy'?) leaves you so confused
... which way to turn
...
Oh yeah ...
All night ...
... ... with that stone
Remember that
You got to fight for what you want 3x
For what you want
...
Got to fight for what you want
You got to fight for what you want

Butterfly
The Butterfly flies,
Into the morning sky
We are all happy and joy filled.
But then the Butterfly leaves
And we give up our fight.
Then we remember the light,
So we fight.
We fight for music, poetry and more,
We fight until the light shines once more.
