I was brought up with psychics and tarot cards. My mum was always told I was going to be in a boy band and be famous as a singer.

I loved your stories of the old times -
the endless journeys of the band bus,
Judy with her black-eyed girl,
the first action at each hotel
the drawer taken from the chest,
you laid in it; the band singer filling in
between the famous stars; knowing
the bridges between the famous verses
which singers seem to love so much
as if they're nearer private lives
of songwriters who have lives;
the visits to Stan Laurel, modest,
bright-eyed, pining for his Oliver..
the glittering night-time life
of wartime, almost-still-1930s
of the Hollywood refugees;
told by the not-quite-famous who
performed in front of the famous;
the time when thanks to you
I spoke to Gloria Swanson on the phone..
I hear the footsteps of the high-heeled life;
I smell the perfumes now no longer made.
I thank you for all these and more.
And if some of them
were not quite true,
then thank you for the care
with which you told them;
true dreams - dreamed truth.

Can We See The Future Today? [Part 2]
Numerology has been used to peep into the future
since the days of Pythagoras in the B.C era
This is done by adding the numerical digits
of our birthdates until it forms a single digit
Also, numerology converts the alphabets in our names
into numbers for metaphysical interpretation.
The digit summing of our birthdates and birth names from
from one to nine can reveal our future potentials
How accurate is numerology as a tool to foresee the future?
The exactness depends on the numerologist
Can we see the future today?
Geomancy has also been used to peep into the future
Human beings have practiced geomancy for thousands of years
Many cultures and societies have their own form of geomancy
This is the divination by means of signs connected with the soil
Answers to questions can be obtained by writing on the ground
We all remember Master Jesus writing on the ground
when the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery to him
This is a classic example of geomancy (see John 8 1-11)
Crystal Gazing is the art of staring or looking into crystal
ball to foresee and predict future events
This tool can also be used for character analysis
and aid in making choices as well as solving problems
For example, a man with four or five girl-friends can use
crystal gazing to decide which one would make a perfect wife
How precise is crystal gazing as a means of peeping into the future?
The accuracy depends on the crystal reader or seer
Can we see the future today?
Some people will prefer to consult the Tarot Cards
to look and foresee the immediate future
Tarot is a system of fortune-telling using a special pack of cards
This special pack contains 78 cards – which is sub-divided into
22 major arcana cards and 56 minor arcana cards
How correct is the tarot in foretelling the future?
The precision depends on the tarot reader or consultant

Seven Lies
Seven lies are under
The seven deadly sins.
It will throw your soul
On thousand sharp pins;
You make the shower
Of false, false words.
You are a liar, I found
Playing Tarot Cards.
Tarot card is itself
My pure prism mind.
It doesn't act before,
It plays behind.
You know the conscience,
Is our the best teacher.
You yourself preach but
You are a dumb preacher!

The 'Poem A Day' Project - Day 57
When there is pain and hurt around
When there’s a sad despairing sound
That’s where the vultures will be found
The sick psychics circle
When you feel so down and lost
You will have to pay their cost
They promise results with fingers crossed
The sick psychics circle
When your children disappear
They will profit from your fear
Though they really have no idea
The sick psychics circle
Even the fact is no psychic has ever found a lost person or solved any crime
Doesn’t stop those who need to have hope, giving them their money and time
Abusing the weak and emotionally drained
Saying their ‘powers’ can be focused and aimed
Their true motives can be easily explained
The rich psychics circle

Join Together
When you here this sound a-comin,
Hear the drummers drumming,
I want you to join together with the band,
We dont move in any ticular direction,
And we dont make no collections,
I want you to join together with the band.
Do you really think I care,
What you read or what you wear,
I want you to join together with the band,
Theres a million ways to laugh,
And every ones a path,
Come on and join together with the band.
Everybody join together, I want you to join together,
Come on and join together with the band,
We need you to join together, come on and join together,
Come on and join together with the band.
You dont have to play,
You can follow or lead the way,
I want you to join together with the band,
We dont know where were going,
But the seasons right for knowing,
I want you to join together with the band.
Its the singer not the song,
That makes the music move along,
I want you to join together with the band,
This is the biggest band youll find,
Its as deep as it is wide,
Come on and join together with the band,
Hey hey hey hey hey hey, well everybody come on.
Come on and join, join together with the band,
We need you to join together, everybody come on,
Hey hey hey, join together with the band.

Famous Fable
The famous fable,
The famous table,
The famous stable,
The famous cable,
The famous babble,
The famous gable,
The famous parable,
The famous variable
The famous sable;
But, able to crown your love with my muse!
For, you are all that i need.

I'm Just A Singer
I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth
Meeting so many people
Who are trying to be free
And while i'm traveling i hear so many words
Language barriers broken
Now we've found the key
And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
A thousand pictures can be drawn from one word
Only who is the artist
We got to agree
A thousand miles can lead so many ways
Just to know who is driving
What a help it would be
So if you want this world of yours
To turn about you
And you can see exactly what to do
Please tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth.
I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth
Meeting so many people
Who are trying to be free
And while i'm traveling i hear so many words
Language barriers broken
Now we've found the key
And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth.
Music is the traveller crossing our world
Meeting so many people bridging the seas
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
We're just the singers in a rock and roll band.
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band...

Scam Reader
Who are you to tell me what tomorrow will bring
acting like you’re the next best thing.
Reading your tarot cards and interpreted by a fool,
she purposely said wrong things which where cruel.
Speaking French and acting you speak English no,
that’s ____ I think you should know.
Half of what you said wasn’t even true,
starting off with a contradiction how stupid of you.
Now if you were a true psychic you wouldn’t need your cards,
you could give me a reading in the dark.
So do your act with a French girl that believes your lies,
lies that you use to control and hypnotize.
And for Candy who says she’s my friend,
she had this planned right to the end.
What a carnival game you guys play,
well I have the last thing to say.
“I’m a gypsy lady and I have been around the block,
stick your cards up your _______ and then try to talk.

Have You Ever
Everywhere you go there is old furniture,
but have you ever spared a thought
whose bottom might have sat on
the chair you are sitting on.
Have you ever asked yourself
who has looked into the mirror
you are looking into now?
It could have been a famous actor, a famous singer,
or a notable writer or royalty maybe.
Have you ever thought what if
their attributes rubbed off on you,
what would you do
and what would thee consequences be.

Brought Down
I was seldom sober in nineteen hundred and fifthy-four
Hey baby, maybe cause my baby had a baby by me
And I was still drinking dry gin
While you cried no, no more
And you were lyin and a-cryin,
And your tears fell dying on the floor
And Im brought down,
And I dont think I can get up again
Brought down,
My heart is hurt again
You were the fine lady in the early mornings
That always painted her toes
And lookin towards the east
Youd say hello to the early dawn before they rose
And you were the love lady
That always hung up her finely pressed clothes
And sayin so long to the western sundown,
You taught me how it grows
And Im brought down,
And I dont think I can get up again
Brought down,
And you just hurt my heart again
Brought down
Brought down
Im brought down
Brought down
Brought down
Brought down
Down
Im brought down,
And I dont think I can get up again
Im brought down,
Im hurt, its bad
[brought down]
God, its a shame theres no more dr. strangely strange {dss=1960/70s band}

Pessimystic
Don't need a crystal ball
For me to see clearly
No astrology or Tarot cards
Watching CNN
And holding my breath
To face the day
Scares me to death
I'm pessimystic
I'm so fatalistic
I'm pessimystic
I don't believe a thing
I'm pessimystic
I'm so nihlistic
I'm pessimystic
For what tomorrow brings
I can't hear a word you say
So shut up
