With people of limited ability modesty is merely honesty. But with those who possess great talent it is hypocrisy.

Hidden Talent
There's no talent as hidden
that you've been hiding -
a talent that you hide
is an ability that you possess
It's better to say
it is undiscovered skill
unexplored yet
ready to show:
I'll show you
in unconditional time

When Remembered For What It Is And Missed
Knowing the business of one's talent helps,
After establishing a recognition.
It is not the fact that one gains attention,
That a gift is remembered when it is presented.
It is the timelessness of content.
And one's ability to perceive,
From where that talent comes...
To one who has received it from a birth given.
To acknowledge a tree and admire its leaves,
To then disregard its roots...
Is a foolish position one should never take.
People become curious when one's talent is exposed.
But only those who are about the genuineness,
Of their talents from a business sense...
Continue to work on it all their lives.
And the growth and blooming of it shows to others,
Who enjoy the taste of it over and over again.
Since the quality of it never diminishes,
When remembered for what it is and missed.
And a true talent that is,
Never becomes subjected to standards lowered...
By those who excel,
In limited beliefs...
That a game pf playing a battle of wits,
Is part of it!
It isn't.
Not in this genre!

Some people possess talent, others are possessed by it. When that happens, a talent becomes a curse.

Sonnet- Talents
Talent is something that none can erase;
It is always a God-given rich gift;
If you can nurture and become an ace,
None can prevent God's impending huge lift.
Talent is something that's hidden in you;
Within you search and 'twill come out quite true;
God rewards this way for righteousness too,
Never to many but to people few.
Talent is something all must bring it out,
To show the world that God is pleased with us;
It is God's blessing, without any doubt;
Then labour and nurture without great fuss.
Talent if nurtured, gives us happiness;
'Tis not something to keep in much harness.

Getting ahead in a difficult profession requires avid faith in yourself. That is why some people with mediocre talent, but with great inner drive, go so much further than people with vastly superior talent.

I praise the Lord here today. I know that all my talent and all my ability comes from him, and without him I'm nothing and I thank him for his great blessing.

Conceit spoils the finest genius. There is not much danger that real talent or goodness will be overlooked long; even if it is, the consciousness of possessing and using it well should satisfy one, and the great charm of all power is modesty.

The beauty, defined.
What is beauty?
Features, countenance or shape?
Affluence, youthfulness or robustness?
Elegance, briskness or deftness?
Cosmetics, costume or ornaments?
Intelligence, perseverance or endurance?
Grooming, cleanliness or decency?
Love, passion or lustfulness?
Honesty, loyalty or empathy?
Modesty, blush or reticence?
Or talent of art, music and dance?
To me any woman who feels young and sensual.

They who lack talent expect things to happen without effort. They ascribe failure to a lack of inspiration or ability, or to misfortune, rather than to insufficient application. At the core of every true talent there is an awareness of the difficulties inherent in any achievement, and the confidence that by persistence and patience something worthwhile will be realized. Thus talent is a species of vigor.

There are people who possess not so much genius as a certain talent for perceiving the desires of the century, or even of the decade, before it has done so itself.

I Love You Because
I love you because
Of your long frog toes,
Your strong and gentle body,
Your great personality,
Your angelic smile,
Your classic style,
Your determination to succeed,
Your ability to lead,
Your soft and spongy mouth
And your contagious laugh.
The attributes that I don’t like
About you are not important
I only focus on what’s relevant
And not on the petty peas that I dislike.
I recognize that you are not perfect
However, I can attest that you are correct.
I love you for other unbeknown reasons,
For being all year long
My spring and summer seasons,
And for playing my song,
When I am not too happy,
About the ups and downs
Of the daily peripeties.
I purchased two crowns
To revere two of your best qualities:
Your modesty and your honesty.
Thank you for being my flashlight,
I hope that you are at peace tonight.

To Shine Under The Sky
To possess a figure
Is not so important
As to reveals one’s parts
To become an actress.
To possess a talent
Is not so important
As to fund the promoter
To become popular.

Courage and modesty are the most unequivocal of virtues, for they are of a kind that hypocrisy cannot imitate they too have this quality in common, that they are expressed by the same color.
