A great architect is not made by way of a brain nearly so much as he is made by way of a cultivated, enriched heart.

The Human Eye
God made the eye-
An extension of brain:
To see the beauty of all things,
He made.
God made the eye-
The mirror of the brain:
To show the mind’s beauty
Within.
God made the eye-
A camera:
To picture Nature’s lively snaps,
For man.
God made the eye-
A receiver:
To gather photic stimuli
For thought.
God made the eye-
Lovely:
To give expression to the face
Of man.
God made the eye-
For sight:
To perceive what the environs
Can give.
God made the eye-
For knowing world of good and bad:
To walk the roads in Heaven’s light,
On earth.
God made the eye-
For seeing light in dark alleys:
To look before one leaps in life
On earth.
God made the eye-
With two fine lids:
To prevent vice
From reaching mind.
God made the eye-
To see and feel:
The Omniscient Lord
Of creation.
God made the eye-
To know His love
And mercy great:
For man and beast.
God made the eye-
To see the light
Of Godliness
On earth’s terrain.
God made the eye-
To choose the road
That leads to Hell
Or to Heaven.

God Made Your Lips
God made your lips for me to kiss. Your hands for me to hold.
God made your smile for me to miss and treasure more than gold.
God made your ears so I could tell how beautiful you are.
God made your eyes to cast a spell, no matter, near or far.
God made your arms to hold me tight each time before I leave.
God made your legs to stir delight like Adam saw in Eve.
God made your doubts to fade away, for years have come and gone.
God made your joys thank Him each day our love goes on and on.
God made your heart a lot like mine - hold fast to what God says.
God made you my sweet Valentine, you're always in my prayers.
God made your mind, your memories, your dreams and all you're worth.
God made you precious so you'd please the luckiest man on Earth!
God made your blessings one by one and when I look at you,
I wonder what great thing I've done that you should love me, too.

Epitaph
I lived in those times. For a thousand years
I have been dead. Not fallen, but hunted;
When all human decency was imprisoned,
I was free amongst the masked slaves.
I lived in those times, yet I was free.
I watched the river, the earth, the sky,
Turning around me, keeping their balance,
The seasons provided their birds and their honey.
You who live, what have you made of your luck?
Do you regret the time when I struggled?
Have you cultivated for the common harvest?
Have you enriched the town I lived in?
Living men, think nothing of me. I am dead.
Nothing survives of my spirit or my body.

Love You Forever
Her one killing look
Made my heart hook
Her one cute smile
Made me jump mile
Into ocean of love
Her one sweet word
Made me fly world
Her one beautiful move
Made my heart rove
Into ocean of love
Her one caring call
Made me forget all
Her one pure query
Made my heart quest
Into ocean of love
Her one heart beat
Made my heart beat
Her one helping hand
Made me sail sand
Into ocean of love
Her one painful tear
Made my heart tear
Her one silent promise
Made me also promise
I love you dear forever

A Great Master Poet Wrote
A great master poet told
how nature interceded
and interrupted a architect’s design
and made it’s own adjustments in time
but that the master designing artist’s eye,
his mind, comprehended
the difference and from it found
a brilliant answer to where
the problems were
and yet a man of the book
took it upon himself
to declare the designers work
as a copy of strokes
made by the hand of God
which lead to the ruination
of that master architect.
Now if we follow this argument
every poem, even every thought,
every painting
about nature’s splendour
or even the beauty of the human being
or whatever,
you could connect to God or His creation,
even when we sing words, paint pictures
and create art
it does not belong to the author
but to the Lord God and his church.
l’Envoi
If you take the artist away
from designs, verses, paintings, music
(from whatever art)
it will not be there
and it will not exist,
which leaves me to conclude
that some men of the holy book
do claim in the name of the divine
that which does not belong to them
or their church.

I Believe In You...
I believe in your kiss...your touch
and the way you make me feel.
I believe in your eyes...that make me
see the good in most.
I believe in your mouth...and your sweet
taste...and the words you speak.
I believe your love has taken me places,
I never dreamed possible.
I believe in your laughter...your tears
of caring and your muted look
of understanding.
I believe that your love has made
me a better human being.
I believe your compassion and
patience have enriched all who
have come to know you.
I believe because of you, I'm the luckiest
person on the face of the earth.
I believe in you...in everything you
say and do.
I believe...with all my heart...that you
have made this world a better place.
You're The One
Words & music by paul simon
May twelve angels guard you
While you sleep
Maybe that's a waste of angels i don't know
I'd do anything to keep you safe
From the danger that surrounds us
Little by little
Bit by bit
Little bit by little bit
Now you got it that's it
What're you thinking?
Things'll go sour?
Take its temperature every hour
Nervous when you own it
Nervous when it's gone
What do you think has been going on
For so long?
Bridge:
You are the air
Inside my chest
Chorus:
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
But when i hear it from the other side
It's a completely different song
I'm the one who made you cry
And i'm the one who's wrong
In my dream you spoke to me
And you said
Chorus:
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
You're the one
Verse:
Nature gives us shapeless shapes
Clouds and waves and flame
But human expectation
Is that love remains the same
And when it doesn't
We point our fingers
And blame blame blame
Chorus:
You're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
And i'm the one
I broke your heart
I made you cry
And you're the one
You broke my heart
You made me cry
We're the ones

Today... 'Architect and Builder
Ere time elapsed or creation began
You drew up Your wondrous salvation plan.
A mighty universe was to be made
through which Your glory would be displayed
Builder of all things both seen and unseen
of every earthly and heavenly scene.
Angelic hosts their great praises render
as creation appeared in all its splendour.
Its great Architect and Builder was God
and the streets of His creation He trod.
Climbing the steep path to Calvary's hill
His great Plan of Salvation to fulfil.
To build again the New Jerusalem
and fill its streets with children of Abraham
To build the Church each stone a living soul
each one born again and in Christ made whole
(see also the additional information below in the Poet's box)
Who I Am
You don't like my hair,
You don't like my dress.
You think I'm wrong;
That you know best.
Think you know better.
Think you got it all.
And right now,
My back's against the wall.
You say I should be here;
But I really should be there.
Come to think of it now,
I should be nowhere.
You say how I should live:
What, when, where, how.
But I'm telling you,
Back off right now.
I was made to praise God,
To live, love, and be free.
God made me:
He made me to be me.
Twasn't to be,
Chasing the stars.
Twasn't to be,
Who you are.
I was made to be me,
With none other alike.
So take a hint
And take a hike.
Made to praise,
Made to live,
Made to love,
Made to give.
Made like no other,
Made by the great I AM.
Just a unique worm,
That's who I am.
So take a deep breath and swallow...
This is who I am.

Michael Jackson Is Great
Michael Jackson accomplished a lot when he was alive,
he started out singing in the Jackson 5.
Michael had the groove and the beat,
he made songs that got you off your feet.
He also made songs that made you think.
Now Michael was a Pisce's moon
he had a great imagination and great heart big heart too.
Thank You Michael Jackson for the happiness you brought
You made the planet happier singing songs to dance to on the spot.
Many great memories for people learning to dance the moon walk.
and my fondest memory dancing at The Cottage
to his song 'Don't Stop ‘til You Get Enough'

Presenting yourself
Presenting yourself
In all poems
And directing me
To write
This and that
Calling these fine
You made me great.
Living in this earth
I'm thankful to you
I'm just an instrument
In your hand
I'm getting self respect
Honour with family
Kith and kins
Friends and well-wishers
You appreciate me
And you made me great.
Presenting yourself
In everything and
Doing everything
Only for me
You made me great
Thanks and it is
I know not sufficient.
I'm nothing
You are really great.

The Creator
He made the universe with the wave of his hand
then decided to change the plan.
he made this planet of dirt and stone
but it could not be left alone.
He needed something to quench his thirst
from the ground water did burst.
he made this planet two thirds water
and put in creatures to complete the order.
He felt all that he created was a great plan.
then he decided to make man.
man was the most difficult challenge
of all his creations
for it had to be of great sensation.
man would live on all the creatures
that he created, in land, air, or sea.
to be able to think, with the brain
that they was given,
and control all life forms that was living.
He decided to give man a heart of gold
and then added a thing called soul.
he gave the heart a two fold purpose
one to live, and the other to feel
all sorts of different sensations.
then he added all the other spices
love, sorrow, jealousy, bitterness and hate.
but the strongest two was LOVE AND FAITH.
now that the heart was complete
he took the soul, and he did treat.
he treated it with all that he had put into
the mind and heart.
this is how we got our start.
now that all this was done
in the future he would give his SON.
His son may have many different names
but he is GOD just the same.

Thats How Heartaches Are Made
(halley / raleigh)
(thats how heartaches are made)
(thats how heartaches are made)
They told me I was such a fool to love you
They say that youre the kind whod never be true
Pretty soon the day would come
When Id be the sorry one
But I said that Im not afraid, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
I went ahead and my heart opened the door
I gave you so much love no-one could want more
You pretended to be mine
How could you be so unkind?
With all the other girls you played, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
I know youre not sincere
And youll never be
But still I want your kisses so desperately
I can never let you go
Baby, you know I know
Every rule of love you disobeyed, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartcahes are made

You Made Me Belive
You made me believe we are meant to be
You made me believe in more than just you and me
You made me believe in something rare
You made me believe in something we share
You made me believe miracles could happen
you made me believe I could do something's i never knew I could do
You made me believe,
its sounds kinda funny,
but you made me believe
IN LOVE
Thats sweeter than honey

Oh Those Cookies Made
You hooked me with your looks,
And also cooking, 'bay-bee'.
Your speciality is baking sugar cookies, 'bay-bee'.
And a tasting of your cookies,
Is my favorite crave...
I rush to get to savor.
Because the flavor makes them great...
I've lost my patience to wait.
Oh your cookies made,
Are the best I've ever savored.
Yes your cookies made.
Is a taste that can't get better.
Oh...
Those cookies made,
Are fun to munch in any weather.
Yes,
Those cookies made.
Your cookies made.
Oh...
Oh your cookies made,
Are the best I've ever savored.
Yes your cookies made.
Is a taste that can't get better.
Oh...
Oh those cookies made,
Are fun to munch in any weather.
Yes,
Those cookies made.
Your cookies made.
