Baby Saves the Day
Russian family running for their lives,
jumps over barb wire fence
in Russia, it cuts them like a knife.
Only baby gets stuck with her wrap
Bolshevik soldiers show up,
Russian family scared as __.
One Bolshevik soldier soul is wise
He gives other soldier his rifle,
Let’s baby and family survive.
In barbwire fence soldier does go
He rescues baby and instantly is not a foe.
Russian family goes to America where freedom prevails,
Bob their grandson is born who hears of this tale.
I heard it today and had tears in my eyes,
We humans are not “made in sin” or “evil”,
even the Bolshevik soldier was a good guy.

Come On In, The Senility Is Fine
People live forever in Jacksonville and St. Petersburg and Tampa,
But you don't have to live forever to become a grampa.
The entrance requirements for grampahood are comparatively mild,
You only have to live until your child has a child.
From that point on you start looking both ways over your shoulder,
Because sometimes you feel thirty years younger and sometimes
thirty years older.
Now you begin to realize who it was that reached the height of
imbecility,
It was whoever said that grandparents have all the fun and none of
the responsibility.
This is the most enticing spiderwebs of a tarradiddle ever spun,
Because everybody would love to have a baby around who was no
responsibility and lots of fun,
But I can think of no one but a mooncalf or a gaby
Who would trust their own child to raise a baby.
So you have to personally superintend your grandchild from diapers
to pants and from bottle to spoon,
Because you know that your own child hasn't sense enough to come
in out of a typhoon.
You don't have to live forever to become a grampa, but if you do
want to live forever,
Don't try to be clever;
If you wish to reach the end of the trail with an uncut throat,
Don't go around saying Quote I don't mind being a grampa but I
hate being married to a gramma Unquote.

One More Night
No jacket required, 1985
One more night, one more night
Ive been trying ooh so long to let you know
Let you know how I feel
And if I stumble if I fall, just help me back
So I can make you see
Please give me one more night, give me one more night
One more night cos I cant wait forever
Give me just one more night, oh just one more night
Oh one more night cos I cant wait forever
Ive been sitting here so long
Wasting time, just staring at the phone
And I was wondering should I call you
Then I thought maybe youre not alone
Please give me one more night, give me just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I cant wait forever
Please give me one more night, ooh just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I cant wait forever
Give me one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I cant wait forever
Like a river to the sea
I will always be with you
And if you sail away
I will follow you
Give me one more night, give me just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I cant wait forever
I know therell never be a time youll ever feel the same
And I know its only words
But if you change your mind you know that Ill be here
And maybe we both can learn
Give me just one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I cant wait forever
Give me just one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I cant wait forever

Old Child
Child. Old child,
No longer wild;
No longer speaking,
No longer beguiled;
I have become
A quiet old child.
Child. Old child,
No longer cold;
Never an old man,
Always too old;
I have become
An old child tenfold.
Child. Old child,
Forever a child;
Always rethinking,
Always exiled.
I should become
A happy old child.
Child. Old child.
Always soft-spoken;
No longer breaking,
Still being broken;
I have become
An old child, unspoken.
Child. Old child,
No longer bold;
By thinking, rethinking
Of stories untold,
All through my childhood,
I've become... old.

A Mothers Love
A mothers love is everlasting, forever
A mother and her child will always be together
A mothers love for her child through the smiles and the tears
Will stay strong for years and years
A mothers love will never die
Even if sometimes her child makes her cry
A mother can really reach up high, and touch the sky
When next to her is her child
A mothers love will reach beyond the grave
When a mother is with her child she will always be brave
Two children or one, daughter or son
More precious than the stars above
You can never take a mothers love

Give your child a Heart.
Give your child a heart, Oh, Mother
Give your child a heart.
Heart that makes them kind
Oh, Mother, heart that rules the mind.
Give your child a heart, Oh, Mother
Give your child a heart.
Heart that makes them wise
Oh, Mother, heart that fights the vice.
Give your child a heart, Oh, Mother
Give your child a heart.
Heart that tells them to care
Oh, Mother, heart that tells them to share.
Give your child a heart, Oh, Mother
Give your child a heart.
Heart that nourishes the hurt
Oh, Mother, heart that consoles the heart.

Consummation
(1967) nina simone
And now we are one
Let my soul rest in peace
At last it is done
My soul has been released
For thousands of years
My soul has roamed the earth
In search for you
So that someday I could give birth
To know joy, joy, joy, joy
Joy and peace is mine
Peace divine
And now we give thanks
Give thanks for each other
At peace forever
For it is done
At peace forever
For we are one

Tell Me Child
Little one
Sweet child
Play me a song
Let it fill me up
Let it bring me joy
Tell me how to sing along
Tell me how to dance
Tiny one
Lovely child
Give me a game
Let it make me laugh
Let it give me hope
Tell me how to be young
Tell me how to live
Small one
Good child
Give me a day
Let me have a life like yours
Let me follow in your ways
Tell me how to dream
Tell me how to love
Because dear child
In this big bad world
It’s so easy to forget

The Key
Let me in your life
Open up the door
Let me in your heart
Give me the key
Youre the only one
Ill ever want
Show me the way
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
I wont let you down
Ill never let you go
Ill love you forever
Give me the key
Youre the only one
That knows what I need
Take me in your arms
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
I dont want to wait
Another second more
Im down on my knees
Give me the key
Im over my head
Too far gone
You know how I feel
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key
Give me the key

Broken child
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who has seen more than his young eyes should.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who would run away from it all if he could.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who has been ravished by the likes of you and I.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child with to much pride to cry.
I see the face off a broken child.
a child who fights off anyone who cares.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who wishes his mother was there.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who wont let his hardships keep him down.
I see the face of a broken child.
A child who refuses to give up and reveal a frown.

Straight To The Heart
Words & music: michael w. smith and brent bourgeois
When Im down when my souls in need of rest
Come your words of comfort and of hope
I see your face always smiling back at me
A stream of light shining straight to the heart
Child of god, child of light
Therell be no more lonely nights
Cause you have brightened up my life
Theres a road that leads me to this place
A path of love running straight to the heart
Over the years Ive learned one important thing
Its that real friends shall never truly be apart
You were there in my darkest time of need
With a hand reaching straight to the heart
Child of god, child of light
Therell be no more lonely nights
Cause you have brightened up my life
Take this gift, it is all I have to give
A prayer of love forever straight to the heart

Never Give Up
Never give up on your dreams, hopes, or anything,
Never give in on anything,
When you fall just get back up again,
When you lose just try again,
When all fails,
Just try again,
Close your eyes make a wish forever I am yours forever you are mine,
Never give up on me,
I will never give up on you,
Always and forever I am yours,
I will always remain in your heart long as if you remain in mine.

Forever Together
I took you for granted
So many years
I gave you no hope
Broken promises and tears
But when I was down
It was you who was there
To Pick up the pieces and show me you care
Forever together
Til' death do we part
Forsaking all others
I'll give you my heart
Through good times and bad times
Wherever we are
Foerever together
In each other's arms
You seem to know
What we had all along
And you had the love
And the faith to go on
It took some time but now I realize
That I see it all when I look in your eyes
Forever together
Til' Death do we part
Forsaking all others
I give you my heart
Through good times and bad times
Wherever we are
Forever together
In each other's arms
Forever together
In each other's arms

Whenever Forever Comes
Whenever forever comes, when darkness shall hide the sun
Ill still be shining with love for you
When glory bells chime, my love will ring true
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my love will be yours always
Whenever forever comes, when all things are said and done
Ill still be feeling the same way I do
Ill be there for you and still wanting you
God gave you to me, and me to you
And you will still be the one whenever forever comes
Well float on a cloud through eternity
Youll gather the stars, youll give them to me
Ill give you the moon and well replace the sun
Whenever forever comes, whenever forever comes
What would I have ever done had I not had you to love?
Youve given me more than I ever dreamed
Loving you more every day, so it seems
Greater than all other loves I have seen
Its essence will linger on whenever forever comes
Well float on a cloud through eternity
Youll gather the stars, youll give them to me
Ill give you the moon and well replace the sun
Whenever forever comes, whenever forever comes
