Most of nature is inherently chaotic. It's not rigidly determined in the old sense. It's not rigidly predictable.

Predictable
Dont know why Im even bothering.
(predictable)
Yeah, thats the mood Im in.
Go out for a walk then I come back in.
(predictable)
Yeah, the mood that Im in.
(predictable)
Every day of my life
Cant even communicate with my wife
(predictable)
Thats the word of the year
(predictable)
All I see, all I hear.
Go to my office, sit at my desk,
Predictably just like all of the rest.
I sit and I dream about far away places,
Away from the people with frowns on their faces.
All of my life is monotony
Id go out for a walk but I know it would be
(predictable)
Sure as the nose on my face
(predictable)
Same for the whole human race
Once we (once we) had so many options
Once we (once we) had dignity and grace
Now we (now we) have got nothing but our own time to waste.
(predictable)
Yeah, thats the word of the year
(predictable)
All I see, all I hear
Why cant it be like never before?
(predictable)
Yeah, aint life a bore
(predictable)
Life gets more and more...
Just like Ive heard it all somewhere before.
(predictable)
Sure as the nose on my face
(predictable)
Same for the whole human race
One day (one day) its gonna get better some way (some way)
I wish it would get worse any way (any way)
What can I lose, it might turn into something better.
It gets harder and harder the harder I try
(predictable)
Feels like a good time to die
I kiss you hello then I kiss you good-bye
(predictable)
Just like the stain on my tie
(predictable)
Just like the jacket I wear
(predictable)
The way that Im combing my hair
Turn on the tv, just sit and stare
(predictable)
Theres nothing happening there
Yeah, thats the word of the year
(predictable)
All I see, all I hear.

Among them!
Among them you are extremely different,
When we approach for service,
They feel rather uneasy and look in,
While tightening their tie-knots and seated rigidly in that division
But you are so inquisitive to feel and sense our pulse
To see that if we are satisfied or unhappy in your partition
And looks in to our eyes with endless apologies
To say, yes one day we have to retreat this unforgivable free education system…

Complexity and Yet a Basicness
Complexity,
And yet a basicness...
Seem to be prerequisites,
For those who claim to have preferences.
Standards one likes,
To highlight and prioritize...
Are always ever changing,
As the skies are at sunrise.
And attitudes of those,
Who accuse others of a moodiness.
Are never consistent,
Or in a permanence that is totally set.
Being both flexible and able to bend,
Is the best outlook to have.
Especially if one is dealing with people...
Who are rigidly fixed in their judgements passed!

Salary Dictates Defeats Poetic Creativity
eighteen months is reality
record writing with years thirty
plus of employment essentially
nothing highlights loss empty
wasteland low or no creativity
rich years were not verse written
yet we embraced them like the sun
study wage need economic necessity
are strict task masters habitually
hourly daily weekly monthly yearly
predictably frequently demand time tenacity
poor stubborn determined plan stick firmly
persistently to difficult long term goals rigidly
sought sacrifice success is details won accurately
easily the rich study poverty grasps dreams tightly

A, B, C.
A is an Angel of blushing eighteen:
B is the Ball where the Angel was seen:
C is her Chaperone, who cheated at cards:
D is the Deuxtemps, with Frank of the Guards:
E is the Eye which those dark lashes cover:
F is the Fan it peeped wickedly over:
G is the Glove of superlative kid:
H is the Hand which it spitefully hid:
I is the Ice which spent nature demanded:
J is the Juvenile who hurried to hand it:
K is the Kerchief, a rare work of art:
L is the Lace which composed the chief part.
M is the old Maid who watch'd the girls dance:
N is the Nose she turned up at each glance:
O is the Olga (just then in its prime):
P is the Partner who wouldn't keep time:
Q 's a Quadrille, put instead of the Lancers:
R the Remonstrances made by the dancers:
S is the Supper, where all went in pairs:
T is the Twaddle they talked on the stairs:
U is the Uncle who 'thought we'd be going':
V is the Voice which his niece replied 'No' in:
W is the Waiter, who sat up till eight:
X is his Exit, not rigidly straight:
Y is a Yawning fit caused by the Ball:
Z stands for Zero, or nothing at all.

By nature
I am helpless
Before nature.
Without nature
The very entity
Is in question.
What I am
Entitled to
Determined by nature.
And by nature
What I am
You can not predict.
I can not
Evade nature.

Beware! Children Are Watching Our Activities
Children are back from school
Grand-children are back from school;
They come home and feel hungry
Their mother is offering egg fried rice and curry;
I ask them frequently to give me a handful,
The dear ones refuse to spare even a spoonful;
I ask them repeatedly,
They refuse bluntly and rigidly;
They questioned me one day, reluctantly!
Have we 'ever' asked you 'any day' to give us
a gulp of what 'you drink' in the night daily;
Beware! Children are watching our activities
and teach them manners and their duties!

In Each Other Our Love Has Find A Home (Villanelle)
(For Daleen)
Though we do not know each other many years
in each other our love has find a home
as if by God determined through the spheres
where not in sorrow but in joy come our tears.
that separately we no longer must roam.
though we do not know each other many years
and while we share our cares we have no fears,
what a happy time has come
as if by God determined through the spheres.
With songs of jubilance in our ears
all of nature suddenly seems wholesome,
though we do not know each other many years
the most beautiful splendour flowers wears,
in a world that at times are gruesome
as if by God determined through the spheres
it feels as if these blessings are in arrears
and to me the only one you have become
though we do not know each other many years
as if by God determined through the spheres.

Hooks need to be predictable and not predictable at the same time.
The Mirror...
I Looked At The Mirror
Mirror, Looked Back At Me
I Asked The Mirror
What Do You See?
The Mirror Smiled
“Same As You See”
I Touched The Mirror
The Mirror, Touched Me
Pressing To Break Thru
Glass Vanity
For Tho’ Eye To Eye
Sometimes I See
Mirror’s Right
Is Left To Me
And My Right Side … Made Mirror Left
I Got Perplexed At Imagery
And I Turned Away From Mirror
And Mirror Turned From Me
Our Backs To Each Other
Exposed Rigidly
But, Both Turned Back To Face
And Touch Same Place, And Be
Contained and Content
In Each Other’s Space Respectfully
We Shattered The Barrier
Between Mirror and Me
Back To Reflecting Our World
And The Same Things, We See …
Oh … Mirror, Mirror …
Reflecting You … Seeing Me …

Ink (for Theresa Marie)
As I crease each page with the pressure of my point,
Cutting into the flow of each character,
I strive to lay lines to the surface of meaning.
I attempt to make sense of the flow of my thoughts
As I try to define with each separate line
The value that each gesture strives for.
I cut into pieces the correlation
Among the characters in my narrative;
Between scribing and feeling.
But this contradiction between purpose and process,
Between intention and muscle response,
Belies the nature of liquid.
For the amount of flow,
If nature has its way,
Is determined by the size of its reservoir.
So to finish my thoughts
In the context of language
Do I cede to the size of my pen?
Do I rely on the nature of language?
Or the language of nature’s mien?

Mr Snowman
All alone, a snowman stands, staring out at the world.
What a life!
Short, cold, freezing really,
rigidly waiting for the 'melting' feeling to arrive.
The children have made him as comfortable as they can.
A nice bright red check scarf, a carrot nose, which he can nibble on, if he gets a bit peckish!
Nice black velvet hat, which he feels is worth having, cos it makes him feel important, and keeps his head warm!
They usually build him a friend, someone he can chat to, but not this year.
Apart from a robin who sings, way up above his head, in the holly bush, he's alone,
and time hangs heavily upon him, especially when the long nights descend.
But, he's just a snowman, a no-man,
yet he gives the children such pleasure, which cheers his chilly heart
and makes his 'life' worthwhile.
