Is there any more important problem than our lack of need-based scholarships? I think not.

Dear United States of America, So you think we're fighting prejudice?

Dear United States of America,

So you think we're fighting prejudice?

I don't deny that we are trying,
but we are failing miserabley.

Why do we make a Women's day but not a Men's day?
Why do we have African-American Scholarships and Hispanic Scholarships, but not White Scholarships?

Why do we call ourselves 'Americans' instead of United
Statesians when people in Brazil have the same right to use that term
as we do?

Why do we still use slurs like 'retarded' even though we know that people don't choose to be held back or mentally disabled?
Why do we call people 'dorks' even though there are countless stories of 'dorks' who kill themselves because they just can't take it anymore?

Why do we seek to fight division with division?

Problems

Too many problems, oh why am I here?
I need to be me, cause youre all to clear
And I can see theres something wrong with you
Oh, what do you expect me to do?
At least I gotta know what I wanna be
Dont come to me if you need pity
Are you lonely, you got no-one
You got your body in suspension
Thats a problem, problem, problem
The problem is you
Eat your heart out on a plastic tray
You dont do what you want and you fade away
You work for me, youre working nine-to-five
Its too much fun of being alive
Im using my feet for my human machine
You work for me, living for the screen
Are you lonely, all needs catered
You got your brains dehydrated
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Oh what what you gonna do, problem, problem
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Well, what you gonna do with your problem
The problem is you, problem
I aint death trip, but I aint automatic
You work for me, just stay ecstatic
Dont you give me any orders
To people like me, there is no order
Bet you thought you had it all worked out
Bet you thought you knew what I was about
Bet you thought youd solved all your problems
But you are the problem
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Oh, what you gonna do with your problem?
Ill leave it up to you, oh problem
The problem is you, you got a problem
Oh what you gonna do?
They know a doctor, gonna take you away
Thay take you away and they throw away the key
They dont want you and they dont want me
You got a problem the problem is you
Problem, well, what you gonna do?
Problem, have you got a problem?
Problem, well you got a problem

Letter to A Friend

The problem is, friend of mine
Somewhere along the way
You became...
Somehow,
Important to me.
The problem with that is..
There is a problem with that
And, I don't want to contemplate what it could mean.
So,
I push at it.
And
Shove it away.
I stomp on it
Trying to make it..
While
Simultaneously
Afraid it will break.
This
Whatever
It is..
I know we've been dancing around it
The giant pink elephant in the room.
But,
It can't be me..
Won't be.
You'll have to take that first giant step.
And, please..
Make it an obvious one.
Because all this tip toeing around it
Has me confused.
What if I have the audacity to assume too much?
What if I'm reading into some harmless fun?
What if it's all in jest?
The problem, you see
Is I may want it to be..
And, I'm afraid of where all this may
Or
May not lead.
The problem is, friend of mine
I miss you, when you aren't around.
And think of you and the time we spent..
And, wish I was there all over again.
The problem is, friend of mine
I seriously don't know what to do..
In this situation that is
Or isn't
With this unspoken thing
This tug of war
With me and you.

The problem's in the knowin

I just might have a big problem
in doin’ what’s exactly right
Even tho’ I pretty much try
with all of my doggone might

Seem’s as if It’s in the knowin’
That I lack some social graces
And my embarrassment keeps ashowin’ up
Like spinach stuck in your braces

Hell, I’m not a bad guy
I won’t tell you that you’re fat
That you’re so far over the hill
That you’ll never make it back

I might slip up
and tell a friend
Then he might tell
someone too
Then sure enough …
some of your bimbo friends
would repeat what I said about you

So I’mma thinking’ that…
Doin’ what’s right’s
not the problem
The problem is knowin’
what’s right to do

Going ahead

What is the problem
And there is no problem.

You want to do
And the work done
You want to go
And you gone.

The problem is
There is no problem
The problem you created
Is not a problem.

It is your duty
To think yourself
What to do
And there is nothing
To do.

Who are you to do
And the problem is
You are going
A head to do.

The basic idea in case-based, or CBR, is that the program has stored problems and solutions. Then, when a new problem comes up, the program tries to find a similar problem in its database by finding analogous aspects between the problems.

Krishnamurti

We are the world. The world is you and me, the world is not separate from you and me. We have created this world - the world of violence, the world of wars, the world of religious divisions, sex, anxieties, the utter lack of communication with each other, with no sense of compassion, consideration for another. Wherever one goes in any country throughout the world, human beings, that is, you and another, suffer; we are anxious, we are uncertain, we don't know what is going to happen. Everything has become uncertain. Right through the world as human beings we are in sorrow, fear, anxiety, violence, uncertain of everything, insecure. There is a common relationship between us all. We are the world essentially, basically, fundamentally. The world is you, and you are the world. Realizing that fundamentally, deeply, not romantically, not intellectually but actually, then we see that our problem is a global problem. It is not my problem or your particular problem, it is a human problem.

Wisdom The Key (Revised)

The questionnaire classified me as a problem
case with low root Chakra; it arose from when
I replied ‘No’ to questions whether I trust people
– they implied love means the same as trust

I love people unconditionally and accept their
shortcomings respectfully – including stupidity;
I believe people all have good intent but lack
wisdom, that is why I love them regardless

I do not trust anyone’s judgment because they
lack the mental equipment to obtain benefit for
themselves, much less for anybody else – my
love is not based on their intelligence

It is based on enjoyment of the beauty and variety
they add to life; I bestow trust as a highest honour
only a few earn by acting with honourable and
dignified nobility in being wise enough

To admit and rectify mistakes – I never trust public
figures or authority, self-serving power or selfish
individuals, although I love cheerfully cheeky
criminals who make life fun

I respect their right to be false, honour their duplicity
by keeping temptation far away – I only trust my core
family, my dad who keeps my secrets, my big brother
for showing such integrity

ALL others have freedom to act as they please; I ex-
pect nothing from them given difficulties in balancing
average relationship equations – so it is thus Love
means acceptance of ‘what is’

While Trust means a firm knowledge of the ability
of the beloved to implement their good intent;
WISDOM is the key that enables anybody to
live a life of love, safeguarding such trust…

The Big Problem....

There is this BIG PROBLEM
WE decided not to talk about it
We think that that problem must solve itself
Auto-resolution

So day and night the problem stays there
Like a drunkard in the room
Vomiting
To every nook of the house
The house
That smells like fucking
Shit

But that problem is never considered a problem
There is a room for it to stay
And it can stay
It cannot consume us
It has no mouth and so it has no teeth
It has no tongue it cannot say a word
It stays there like a piece of art
And we begin to appreciate it
Like a piece of rock
Unchanged in the middle of the living room
We eat lunch there
They prepare nice dinners
We drink red wine
We munch chocolates
And sweet berries
The problem stays but it cannot nag us
Because we can pretend
That it is a brother
That we cannot junk but only love
And keep as part of the
Company

There is still this problem
And it did not solve itself
We live by this problem and this problem lives with us
Symbiosis

And so now
What is the problem? Is this a problem after all these years?
It is not anymore
We have learned that it is not a problem anymore
We die soon
And it shall perhaps disappear
Shall it weep over our departure?
That is its problem.

Boy With A Problem

I feel like a boy with a problem
I can't believe what we've forgotten
And i even slapped your face and made you cry
It's the last thing i want to do
Pull the curtains on me and you
Pull the carpet from under love
Pull out like young lovers do
You swore you wouldn't shout
If it's not your punch then its your pout
Days in silence try my temper
Nights spent drinking to remember
How memories are always tender
I crept out last night behind your back
The little they know might be the pieces i lack
Came home drunk
Talking in circles
The spirit is willing but i don't believe in miracles
I've got a problem but let's go to bed
I can roll over and i can play dead
But here i am in the doghouse instead
I feel like a boy with a problem
I can't believe all you've forgotten
Sleeping with forgiveness in your heart for me
