Recruitment Time

Recruitment time,
But, no one ever forgets rejection!
However, cultivate your relationship with sincere love than,
Imposing your status with the salt of your land.
This controversial generation of ours had to be cross-checked!
For, many things are done in a way which is not proper;
However, it is time now for the new recruitment.

Braggart

someday i will be poor.
it will happen, someday i will be very poor.
and you will be rich, and happy and proud
and influential and famous
and be in the cover of Forbes Magazine
perhaps Times
for your exemplary charity
or Asia week for your nobility
and humanitarian projects
perhaps the Pope will make you Saint Marjorie

someday i will be poor, in fact, poor as the poorest rat,
but i know
i will still, and cannot still love you real.

a new Gandhihood

You gave us a simple man, full of kindness
humblest and with godly bless
not a lord
owning his own soul like power
you like us, we poorest of poor
the real Indians..........
we like you Bapu, you only know us....
(they not know us... we are really Indians..)
the father of poorest of poor
the light still delight us...Bapu.....

and then we have many 'gandhees'
but the Indira we loved her
a worthy heir of a ablest leader
Blooded to the battle
Born to for fight
Sowed the pride in our soul nation
Not to thrill of the fight

To die for a cause
Honour and the great glory
To win without a great life
lived for India.......
the great Rajiv...
the' new' India wants glory.....
he made a new vision for this nation

and Sonia the mother....
without a power
but all these great sacrificing.....

Massive Reductions

Ive been sacrificed in the name of the company,
Ive been victimized for the sake of economy.
I had a big house, a big car,
Expense account and credit cards,
But now look what theyve done to me.
Theyre making massive reductions,
Its all mass production and assembly lines.
Theyre making massive reductions,
Massive reductions.
Theyre laying me off all because of inflation,
Im losing my job and my reputation.
Good-bye my big house, my big car.
Now its all up to welfare,
I hear that everybodys going there.
Theyre making massive reductions,
Massive reductions to stay alive.
Whoa, theyre making massive reductions.
Good-bye my big house, my big car,
Now its all up to welfare,
I hear that everybodys going there.
Theyre making massive reductions,
Massive reductions to stay alive.
Whoa, theyre making massive reductions.

Imagine a political system so radical as to promise to move more of the poorest 20% of the population into the richest 20% than remain in the poorest bracket within the decade? You don't need to imagine it. It's called the United States of America.

The Human Will Never Ceases To Surprise

'Tis hard to keep a good woman or man down
Even the one born on the poorest side of the town
Above the most dire poverty has been known to rise
The human will never ceases to surprise
You've heard about the female billionaire
By circumstance of birth she was not treated fair
A poor child of the poor side of the town
Like 'tis said 'tis hard to keep a good one down
Suppose it is in our life's destiny
That even from the depths of poverty
That one will rise and scale the heights of fame
And the once poor one becomes a celebrated name
Though to rise above poverty one does need
Great self belief as well as the will to succeed.

The past, present and future

I was the usual detainee who stood out of the class most of the time.
The lean English teacher who has a slight dimple on the chin when she smiles, once called me in and asked me to write three sentences the past, present and future tense.
I wrote them without any hesitation.

Beggar Of Love

Unlucky unfortunates
The poorest of the poor
Beggar of the beggars
Begging love on the roads.

Don't keep begging love
Rather give me your love, all
I shall lend it to my heart and soul
Just to plant to grow in multiple
Just to return with interest along with the principle

Nosebag

A bag of fodder for a horse hung from the horse's head,
Allow it to eat at will.
Something like this is better if a man get nowadays?
Like the horse he too runs in the life-marathon for his daily bread.
In this ridiculous Drama,
Rich goes to the sky without rockets,
And the poor become poorest.
The bourgeoisie crawls on the expandable 'Globalization'.
And he dies on the road of starvation like a stray dog.

In Every City, Town And Village

In every City, Town and Village the haves and have nots reside
But even the poorest of the poor have got their sense of pride
And it must be soul destroying for them to have to beg to stay alive
But pride has to take second place to the will to survive.

The wealthy growing wealthier and the poor growing poorer in the great social divide
And sad to say the gap between the haves and the have nots has never been so wide
Millions are dying of hunger and in camps for the homeless and Stateless overseas
At least thirty million people that's a lot of refugees.

Poverty is a relative thing some have been known to say
And the poor one in a prosperous Nation would be seen as wealthy in a poor Nation far away
But to live short of money anywhere is not a pleasant thing
'Tis seldom of the homeless soul that the balladeer does sing.

In every City, Town and Village there is inequality
And even in the wealthiest of Nations there is want and poverty
And though everybody in the World cannot be a millionaire
The unequal distribution of wealth seems so very unfair.
