The Skinflint

The skinflint saved his policies,
The skinflint saved his plugs,
The skinflint saved his first house keys,
The skinflint saved his mugs...

The skinflint saved his chewing gum,
The skinflint saved his rope,
The skinflint saved his small toy drum,
The skinflint saved his soap...

The skinflint saved his worn-out shoes,
The skinflint saved his clothes,
The skinflint saved his tubes of glues,
The skinflint saved his bows...

The skinflint saved his dated files,
The skinflint saved his drapes,
The skinflint saved his airline miles,
The skinflint saved his tapes...

The skinflint saved, yes, on the whole...
The skinflint saved so well?
The skinflint never saved his soul!
So God sent him to Hell...

Bring My Soul

No man
No women
Can retrieve the human soul
Nor can define and re-define
The central tendency of soul in sole
Exept human themselves

No man
No women
Can redeem the soulful sounds of soul
Neither at gliding shadows
Nor at loud darkness
Can they farbricate the smile to soul
Exept human themselves

No man, Yes!
No women
Can vanquish the greatness
Of distruction that's carried by the soul
Nor can comprehend the distortions
That are encompassed by the inner soul
Expet ofcause human themselves

No man
No women
In no given time
In no granted span
Can reverse the scars absorbed by the soul
No may rewind or remove the pain
Experienxed by the soul
Exept human themselves

How'd You Get So Rich

If you want to ask me
How'd you get so rich?
I'll tell you the story,
the following of which...
I once was a lost sinner
and condemned to hell
But Jesus saved my soul
and now I've a story to tell
Im saved, Im saved,
Jesus ransomed my soul
He gave me eternal riches
and life so abundant and full
Jesus ransomed my soul
with His own shed blood
forgave me of my sin
and pulled me out of the mire and mud
He gave to me an inheritance
that can never be taken away
I'll live with him eternally
and walk on streets of gold someday

Saved Life

when you have alochol running you
it seems like a rock holding you down
squeezing your soul then ripping it out
you loose your way and feel loads of pain
my husband saved my life
an insperation and like beautiful snow on a winters day
i was able to see how life could be
you look at the sky and wanna fly
looking at trees you wanna climb
looking at the fish and smelling the sea
everything is more clear and beautiful
i finally was able to love someone
my husband mainly saved me from myself
how many men can do that for you?
he has the sweetest soul and softest touch
my heart was fixed the bond was strong
i hope one day i can give back what
he gave to me a new lease on life
my husband saved me he saved my life.

a single soul is saved?

poor dogs, poor poor animals
and lucky you soul...

for your salvation

Saved

(words & music by leiber - stoller)
I wanna soothe my my heart, I wanna ease my mind
I wanna move my shoes and see what I can find
I wanna stand up tall and open up my eyes
I wanna reach out my hand until I touch the skies
I was a poor lost lamb in a deep dark hole
But now Ive found that light Im gonna save my soul
I used to drink, I used to smoke
I used to smoke, drink and dance the hoochy-coo
I used to smoke and drink, smoke and drink and dance the hoochy-coo
Oh yeh! and now Im standing on thius corner praying for me and you
I-i-i thats why Im saved Im saved
People let me tell you bout kingdom come
You know Im saved Im saved
Well I can preach until youre deaf and dumb
Im in that soul saving army beating on that big bass drum
I used to cuss, I used to fuss
I used to fuss, cuss, worry all night long
I used to cuss and fuss, cuss and fuss,
Cuss and fuss and worry all night long
Well now Im standing on this corner, I know right from wrong
I-i-i thats why Im saved Im saved
People let me tell you bout kingdom come
You know Im saved Im saved
Well I can preach until youre deaf and dumb
Im in that soul saving army beating on that big bass drum
I used to lie, I used to cheat
I used to lie, cheat, steal from peoples feet
I used to lie and cheat, lie and cheat and steal from peoples feet
Well now Im steppin on to glory salvation in my beat
Because Im saved, Im saved
People let me tell you bout kingdom come
I am saved Im saved
Well I can preach until youre deaf and dumb
Im in that soul saving army beating on that big bass drum
Im in that soul saving army beating on that big bass drum
Oh yeh! because Im saved, Im saved
People let me tell you bout kingdom come

I love you, Son!

You are the son of my soul not of my womb,
You came to the world to save your mother's soul;
You rescued me, my son!
You saved my lonely soul,
You cast away my sadness,
You washed away my tears,
You made my life worth living,
My son, how can I ever thank you?
For my gratitude would never be sufficient,
But I shall give you my life,
I know it is not enough, it is all I have.

Everything Was Changed

I once was dead in trespasses and sins
but now am alive in Christ
I once walked in the ways of the world
but now my citizenship is in heaven
Everything was changed when Jesus saved my soul
All things became new and life so rich and full

I once was lost without hope or direction
but now I know where I'm going
I once was far from God and couldn't reach him
but now am made nigh by the blood of Christ
Everything was changed when Jesus saved my soul
All things became new and life so rich and full

I once was a child of the devil
but now I am a child of God
I once was headed for eternal damnation
but now am on my way to eternity in Paradise
Everything was changed when Jesus saved my soul
All things became new and life so rich and full

I Learned My Literature As Myself

I learned my Literature as myself-
Kafka was my soul
In the days of my early anxiety-
Joyce was my soul
Also in literary striving -
Wordsworth my soul in calm and love of nature-
Salinger my soul
Bellow my soul
Singer my soul
Soul after soul

But when I came to write
Near the end
After all the meaning
I and all the other souls together conspired
A voice perhaps my own?

Out Of Exile

When I first came to this island
that I called by own name
I was happy in this fortress,
in my exile I remained
But the hours grew so empty
and the ocean sent her waves
In the figure of a woman
and she pulled me out to sea
Chorus
When you come down to take me home
send my soul away
When you come round you'll make me whole
send my soul away
On the altar of a sunrise
was a wedding in the waves
And inside her shown a young light
from her labor I was saved
Though I've traveled long in darkness
in her harvest I'm embraced
Chorus
When you come down to take me home
send my soul away
When you come round you'll make me whole
send my soul away
Now the spires and the gables
grow in orchards to the sky
And the blessings on my table
multiply and divide
Chorus
When you come down to take me home
send my soul away
Yeah when you come round you'll make me whole
send my soul away
Yeah when you come down to take me home
when you come round you'll make me whole
Yeah when you come round to take me home
Send my soul away
send my soul away
Send my soul away
send my soul away

A battle between soul and death

My body has become a battle field,
Battle, a fierce battle, I cried in pain,
As death comes and fights to pull the soul,
Nothing happens as death has no gain.

I have been a heart and gastric patient,
My body burns with a wound of heart,
And my heart burns with it's own light,
But soul and death wrestle part to part.

A great war took place in my body,
Death violently ordered to the soul to surrender,
But soul is not ready to surrender then war began,
Many souls and deaths saw the war and wonder.

What about my body? I shouted at them,
My body has been burning since long,
Listening this, death laughed and soul hit it,
Soul told me that “death is going to do you wrong”.

You go away otherwise the death harms you,
Soul strongly pushed to the death and saved me,
I forever pray to God to give strength to my soul,
I am very thankful to my soul to protect me like a bee.

Hallelujah for a women's love

Once when I cried for freedom
For freedoms ancient sleep
I lay on my bed in my kingdom
Feeling sad so sad and bleak.

Once when I laughed the world laughed too
And so my one true love did you;
Once when my heart was a ball and chain,
Love—saved my soul from the pain.

Once when the sun was cold,
And the moon was warm.
"I listened to those thoughts..? "
Echoing in my soul!

And sang: Hallelujah...
Hey, hey, hallelujah...
Hey, hey, hallelujah...

Once when all hope seemed a pitiless dream
I sat by your side and prayed.
And like Job I vented my anger at the earth
For giving me eyes life staid.
{In this shadows burning, shade! }

But you touched my soul
With your angel-wingtips
And alter bread your body,
Across my swollen lips!

As the suns and moons were shed,
Oh then I knew for sure, I wasn't dead.
As angels wailed, and fled...
I gave thanks to a women's bed.

Hallelujah...
Hey, hey, hallelujah...
Hey, hey, hallelujah...

For a women's love is a shapely thing!
That'll make you sing...
Hallelujah...
Hey, hey, hallelujah...

Women

I love women, I think theyre great
Theyre a solace to the world in a terrible state
Theyre a blessing to the eyes, a balm to soul
What a nightmare to have no women in the world
I love women
I love women
I love women
We all love women
I used to look at women in the magazines
I know that it was sexist, but I was in my teens
I was very bitter, all my sex was on the sly
I couldnt keep my hands off women, and I wont till I die
I love women
Ah, I love women
We love women
We all love women
A womans love can lift you up, and women can inspire
I feel like buying flowers and hiring a celestial choir
A choir of castratis to serenade my love
Theyd sing a little bach for us and then wed make love
I love women
I love women
We all love women
We love women

Youth Of 1,000 Summers

He's the youth of a thousand summers
He's the youth of a thousand summers
Like a sweet bird of youth
Like a sweet bird of youth
In my soul. in my soul, in my soul
In my soul. in my soul. in my soul
And he looks so radiant
And he shines like the sun
And he looks so radiant
And he lights up the world
He's the youth of a thousand summers
He's the youth of a thousand summers
Like a sweet bird of youth
Like a sweet bird of youth
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
Yeah, love it, yeah, love it
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
He's the king of the mountain
And the clear crystal fountain
He's the saint of the river
He's the ancient of days
He's the youth of a thousand summers
He's the youth of a thousand summers
Like a sweet bird of youth
Like a sweet bird of youth
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
And he makes you go skipping
And he makes you go dancing
And he gets you in rhythm
And he moves you in song
He's the youth of a thousand summers
He's the youth of a thousand summers
Like a sweet bird of youth
Like a sweet bird of youth
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
In my soul, in my soul, in my soul
Oh, in my soul, in my soul, in my soul
And a sweet bird of youth
In my soul (repeat)

But One Way

Do you survey each possibility, to reach Heaven for eternity?
There's many ways you can find, out of man's exalted mind,
Many teachers reach out to man, with another salvation plan,
Many say, every way my friend, will reach Heaven in the end.

Is there a God and who is He; is there a Heaven and eternity?
If so, is there also a Hell, and must we believe in Emmanuel?
Emmanuel, Who is Christ Jesus, which means 'God with us.'
Sent by God and our Creator, to be for all men, their Savior!

Christ was sent to save Israel, also, every nation, every soul,
All, who would believe in Him, would be saved from their sin,
As by our sin we are condemned, and this applies to all men,
So all men, from every nation, need from God, His Salvation!

Jesus Christ, The Great 'I AM, ' came to earth as God's Lamb,
To be God's Perfect Sacrifice, paying for all His eternal price,
That debt, no man could pay, so The Lord provided The Way,
The Only Way, to Eternal Life, through His Son, Jesus Christ!

From God, there's but one way, despite what man has to say,
For God's Word is absolute, Eternal Truth, no man can refute,
Truth, The Word does claim, under Heaven there is one name,
By which men must be saved, Truth in which, Apostles raved.

A Soul

A soul has passed
Not the first,
nor the last
Never the less
A soul has passed

A soul is gone
and will be missed
Forever long
All the same
A soul is gone

A soul is through
who was loved dearly
by me, by you
Still and still
A soul is through

A soul has left
completed it's task
we try to accept
By and by
A soul has left

A soul will return
with too many things
for one life to learn
Here or there
A soul will return

The Jester

There are three degrees of bliss
At the foot of Allah's Throne
And the highest place is his
Who saves a brother's soul
At peril of his own.
There is the Power made known!

There are three degrees of bliss
In Garden of Paradise,
And the second place is his
Who saves his brother's soul
By excellent advice.
For there the Glory lies!

There the are three degrees of bliss
And three abodes of the Blest,
And the lowest place is his
Who had saved a soul by jest
And a brother's soul in sport...
But there do the Angels resort!

A Question Of Faith

Ill crawl for you
Hurt if you want to
Ill be the thing that you feed.
Im not asking
For love or redemption
Ill sell my guilt to your need.
Ill breathe for you
Die if you want to
Ill mourn with you by my grave.
I dare you to judge me
Now God has disowned me
Ive come to you to be saved.
They say I sold my soul.
We all reap what we sow.
Ill shine for you
Burn if you want to
Youll be the prize for my pain.
Ill kill your god
And pray for salvation
Ill be the in to your sane.
Ill lie for you
Be your conscience in you
Sacrifice reason for shame.
I wont ask for
Faith or forgiveness
Ill be the blood in your veins.
They say I lost my way
Ill wait for judgement day.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
Ill be your darkness
In the light
Ill be your vampire calling
In the dead of night
Ill be your demon
Shadow man
Ill be your one confession
And if I can
Ill be your nightmare
And scream for you
Ill be your one possesion
If you want me to
Ill be your secret
Memory,
Ill be your exhibition
Of atrocity.
They say I sold my soul.
We all reap what we sow.
They say I lost my way.
Ill wait for judgement day.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
Dont pray for my soul.
They kneel down, praise god
Shout allelujah,
Lift up their eyes when they pray.
When children kill children
Dont it make them wonder?
Dont it make them question their faith?
