I was in school studying civil engineering. A guy approached me on the street and said that I had a interesting look-very exotic. He told me I should try to be in the industry.

Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, like a walking encyclopedia engineering is not merely analysis engineering is not merely the possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change... In School
in school,
when i saw you
i intuited i have found
my lost world in you
i wish i could act
to be appreciated
by you in school.
in school,
it would be too sad
to narrate the ordeal
i have been through
i wonder if its best
i had met you
in the school.
in school,
though i had not said it
there has been so many ways
that i have shown it
my actions had done
whatever i wanted to say
at school.
in school,
i never thought
being in love
could take me to madness
well, it is better than
leaving me in sadness
in the school.
in school,
when i approached you
i knew i was silly
it was because
suddenly,
i forgot who i was
in school
in school,
why do you sneer
when i am near
it really breaks me
just tell me what to do
to get a room from you
in and out of school.
in school,
sometimes though it is hard
i guess i must let go
some things i wish to have
though good things also
could be found elsewhere
as it has been in school.

Weirdo school
Our school is so unfair
They gave us a holiday which is rare
Wait a minute.. Home schooling is right there
We keep studying so we won't fail
Our school is really weird
All we do is write and read
Our school is really stupid
All we study at math is cube and cubid
When our school started our happiness started to fade
What on earth is wrong with 9th grade
All we do at art is draw and shade
You should follow every single rule
Our they will call you a fool
What on earth is wrong with this school

Easier to Digest
Civil unrest
Civil war
Civil chaos
Or...
My personal favorite,
Civil disobedience!
Which of these has more flavor...
And yet caffeine free?
More taste,
And yet less filling?
'I vote we go with civil unrest!
It's easier to digest...
And maintains that robust appeal.'
Now we are getting somewhere!
And you George...
What would you like?

Butter in her mouth
Butter in her mouth
School time is just too over, waking up and ready for the school otherwise I will beat you bitterly.
He put off the bed sheet from my body, stretched my hand,
In addition, put me on my foot.
Tears came in my eyes then I went slowly and slowly to my mother in the kitchen,
I put my finger towards my father
And complained about the rude behavior of my father,
Who was asking him to go to the school?
She embraced me; kiss my fore head, and politely asking me to become ready to school because I have to be an officer by studying in the school.
Orders were the same.
Father orders me to wake up and to go to the school while he was having a stick in his hand.
Mother also orders him to go to the school having butter in her mouth.

Abdul Kalam - Ex President
A boy in teens got up at four
In the morning to sell
Newspapers in the area
To make a living
And go to school,
Studying very hard,
His father dead and
Fisherman uncle bringing
Him up giving words
Of encouragement he never
Forgot climbed the steps
Of colleges doing his
Engineering and joining
A foremost venture,
To become a leader
A motivator, and a mentor,
To lauch rockets and satellite
From a country so poor
To feed all the populace,
And became the President
Of the country, while forgetting
to marry and raise children,
But his love for them
Prevailed and soft words
Of advice flowed from
His wise tounge, ardently
Listened to and followed
By one and all, becoming
An Icon in his own times,
Who else but Abdul Kalam
The great teacher of India.

Skipping School
It's Monday morning and he wanted to skip school,
his stomach was hurting, that's how he would fool.
Mama approached and he held the stomach hard,
She stood and watched as he cried out, ' Oh my God! '
Mama scolded:
'Told you not to sleep late, Why didn't you follow the rule? '
He said:
'I have a stomachache, please don't send me to school.'
Mama told him to rest, believing all the lies,
and set off to work, giving lots of advice.
He slept for sometime, glad to be at home,
but got up in no time, happy but alone.
He watched some TV and played video games,
but actually was missing all school mates.
Restless and lost, Lazy and bored,
eating all junk food, finally he dozed.
Mama returned home and woke him up,
along came his friends happy and pepped up.
startled but awake now, he asked 'how was school? ',
they all said 'wow, it was pretty cool'.
Suddenly he stood up rattling his brain,
everyone looked up when he shouted in pain.
'come here and feel, my stomach is aching,
this time for real, I am not faking.'
Mama said 'drink some water and soon the pain will pass',
His friends gave the school work which he had missed in the class.
Off they went to play
wishing him to get well soon
He knew he had to stay
as he had wasted the afternoon.
He promised himself, will never make an excuse,
bunking the school was really of no use.

There is no one area of chemical engineering that specifically helped me in my career as an astronaut, it was more the general education in engineering. Also, it was a very difficult and rigorous course. So, it made me strong and resourceful.

I Sent My Child To School Today
I sent my child to school today
With his little lunch box
When he came home he said his friend
Had gotten the chickenpox,
I sent my child to school today
And asked him what he learned
He told me about firemen
They taught him how not to get burned,
I sent my child to school today
He said, 'Do you know what they taught me? '
He told me they taught him numbers
As well as his ABC’s,
I sent my child to school today
A smile on his face
I gave him a kiss and a hug
And said, 'See ya funny face! ',
I sent my child to school today
His smile bright and wide
But an older child brought in a gun
How did he get it inside? ,
I sent my child to school today
As in every day
But the child with the gun started shooting
The reason? No one could say,
I buried my child after school today
All I can do is cry
I lost my child at school today
And nobody can tell me why.
