Sonnet: On Greatness
Greatness is not a thing, much like an art;
Some man turns great if on it he stumbles;
His greatness ceases, if he thinks, he's great;
Great is he truly who tho' great, humbles.
Greatness is not true greatness, self-proclaimed;
Greatness is not what world showers on us;
Greatness is neither got by being claimed.
Greatness is not achieved by making fuss.
Greatness could come if world decides to give;
Greatness will stay if God blesses our work;
Such greatness, God-destined comes while men live;
Greatness can grow even without much luck.
Greatness doesn't come to everyone on earth;
Some men are made great; some are great by birth.

Friends Forever Covenant
Friends have their humble beginnings
And sometimes friendships have their end.
Let us build a world of meaning;
Together seek each rainbow's end.
We're meant to always be happy
And to be sad for but a while;
We are meant to share God's glory
And to live-out life with a smile.
You'd never need to outgrow me
Or to leave our friendship behind.
I pray there be new beginnings:
A deeper love each day to find.

North Atlantic Drift
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Its a cultural shift its the North Atlantic Drift
Americana and a rule Britannia
And the moon yes we own that to
And where the Euphrates meets the other rivers
Is now the home of the devil and the liar
And the pyre we plan to make
Is just the drift leaving its wake, home
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
And the films you want to watch
And the films you want to make
And the kids like lost angels
Dressed in black sensations
And the shift won? shake
And the drift won? brake
With billions of Diamonds growing like olives
And the drift holds the coffers
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns
Meanwhile Rome burns

If a man from humble beginnings gets rich, he will carry his umbrella at midnight.
Our Own Greatness
We do not need kingdoms
To be kings, we do not need
Lands and money to be rich
And be powerful and be famous
And be great to the eyes of men
We only need our simple selves
At peace within our hearts
Admiring the greatness of God
And His Wondrous creations
We only need this humble humanity
Inside us always looking at the
Others’ mysteries always thinking
The true world beyond us on this journey
Our own greatness lies in our being ourselves
Knowing what we are and fulfilling the purpose
Of why we are here and what we are destined to be...there

Humble People
Humble people
We both are
We are humble people
We are happy
We have someone that is watching out for us
Humble people
Are much happier than those who have too much
Humble people have little but they are happy
Humble people are rich in spirit
Humble people have more friends
Than those that are rich
We are not so materialistic either
Humble people
Like to enjoy other humble people also
That is the kind of people they mix with
Humble people don’t wear any expensive clothes
Humble people are good Christians
Humble people are hungry for the word of the Lord

Men Of Good Fortune
Men of good fortune
Often cause empires to fall
While men of poor beginnings
Often cant do anything at all
The rich son waits for his father to die
The poor just drink and cry
And me, I just dont care at all
Men of good fortune
Very often cant do a thing
While men of poor beginnings
Often can do anything
At heart they try to act like a man
Handle things the best way they can
They have no rich, daddy to fall back on
Men of good fortune
Often cause empires to fall
While men of poor beginnings
Often cant do anything at all
It takes money to make money they say
Look at the fords, but didnt they start that way
Anyway, it makes no difference to me
Men of good fortune
Often wish that they could die
While men of poor beginnings
Want what they have and to get it theyll die
All those great things that live has to give
They wanna have money and live
But me, I just dont care at all
Men of good fortune
Men of poor beginnings
Men of good fortune
Men of poor beginnings
Men of good fortune
Men of poor beginnings
Men of good fortune
Men of poor beginnings

Rome
O thou newcomer who seek’st Rome in Rome
And find’st in Rome no thing thou canst call Roman;
Arches worn old and palaces made common
Rome’s name alone within these walls keeps home.
Behold how pride and ruin can befall
One who hath set the whole world ’neath her laws,
All-conquering, now conquered, because
She is Time’s prey, and Time conquereth all.
Rome that art Rome’s one sole last monument,
Rome that alone hast conquered Rome the town,
Tiber alone, transient and seaward bent,
Remains of Rome. O world, thou unconstant mime!
That which stands firm in thee Time batters down,
And that which fleeteth doth outrun swift Time.

Epitaph To Rome
If midst Rome you wish to see Rome, pilgrim,
Tho in Rome naught of Rome might you see,
Behold the walls' ring, the theatres, temples
And ruptured pillars, to rubble all turned,
Rome be these! Mark how the corpse of a city
So strong still past fortune's pomp exudes;
Subduing a world, herself the city subdued
Lest yet more to subdue might there be.
Today in broken Rome, Rome unbroken
(A substance in its shadow) lies entombed.
Within all's changed; alone past change
Tiber remains, that to sea runs mixed with sand.
See what Fortune plays: 'tis wasted away,
What was unmoving; what moved, yet remains.

Back To Rome
One day its the morning
Another day its the afternoon light
On day, baby, without warning
Well, I tend to think were going back to rome
Back to rome
We had a dream it was behemoth
Im so sorry that I didnt work out
And Im sorry about the visigoths
Well, I think its time that we go back to rome
Back to rome
Dont you wish that we could stay?
Were going back to rome
Life is so fine
Then it goes wrong
Wrong
You think its going to miss you but that sun bitch gon get you
Yeah, it goes wrong
Wrong
Sun bitch gon get you
I believed in the cupid
I thought Id kiss you for all my life
I guess Im just a little stupid
Now Im going back to rome
Back to rome
Now I just cant wait
Im going back to rome
Love is so high
Then it goes wrong
Wrong
You think its going to miss you but that sun bitch gon get you
Yeah, it goes wrong
Wrong
Sun bitch gon get you

Stop walking backwards
STOP WALKING BACKWARDS: life it's self can be a journey. (Can I get a Hell to the yeah) lol, but in the process, hold on I need for you to really open up your eyes, and get that wax out if your ears, so you can understand the words that's coming out of my mouth. And that is examples of sight, in your humble beginnings, in your middle was a learn behavior, regardless if it were in your home, or family homes, at school, your church, outside, you have seen a many of things, and been educated by life's best. What? you really want to no, come on and join me on a mental magic carpet ride but were hoping on and off ok don't get to comfortable. Now then I'm glade you asked even if you didn't I'm going to tell you. life had to offer was it's environment. Were you saw the good, the bad, and your addiction to ugly. And the words please don't tell it's our family secret. Wink wink lol And some of us are a mess today because of who said what, who did what, and I should stayed because big mamma survived and she look happy. What ever lol do what's best for you. dysfunction no more, and embrace functional! you feel me yes we can. Clarence of greatness

Say your prayers in a garden early, ignoring stead¬fastly the dew, the birds and the flowers, and you will come away overwhelmed by its freshness and joy; go there in order to be overwhelmed and, after a certain age, nine times out of ten nothing will happen to you.

Beginnings Forever Beginning
Beginnings are offerings to the sky
She welcomes me like a new day
We know a smile is the only way
Please don't be shy
Say what you’re going to say
And mean it
New costumes of tireless myth
The first flowers of spring
Dawn on eagles wings
Grace as pure as robin eggs
Lightening as bold as Thor
Lonely hearts open the door
Eyes touch my soul
Everything seems to grow
Paths as old as starlight
Lovers are ancient nights
The world becomes a warm place
Beginnings in your lovely face
Beginnings forever beginning

Underwhelmed
Keep expecting so much
Seeing little in return
Desperate for the deeper moments
Begin to see them slowly burning down
I see them slowly burning down
Needing meaning in this
Heavy day I seem to bear
Everything comes into question
Lessons learned just seem to tear apart
They seem to tear apart
And I am underwhelmed again
Wanting more than you are giving
Underwhelmed again
Is there more that I am seeing
You promised me so much when
We began to walk this way
You said we'd change the world together
But now it seems we're nowhere further on
It seems we're nowhere further on
There must be more
Much more than this
Please show me more
At the lowest low now
Thinking I should can it all
Needing breakthrough from the nothing
But remembering the call
Where it really started
Hearing fresh your voice again
Something calling me to press on
Seeing you again
I'm bowing down
I'm bowing down
And I am overwhelmed again
I hear your voice still calling for me
Overwhelmed again
Remembering all you've made for me
Overwhelmed again
Not deserving all you're giving
Overwhelmed again
Another chance at truly living

The 'Potential' For Greatness IS There
If a greatness is indeed appreciated,
Wouldn't it take more than one to satiate the taste?
It would lessen the propaganda.
And the hype of it would not be faked.
'Well...
Okay.
Let me say...
The 'potential' for greatness is there.'
mmm...
That makes the taste of it easier to take,
Somehow.
That way,
My expectations aren't set so high.
And I can determine what is given,
More delicious than it is!
You get my point?
'I think so.
YOU want to determine,
The 'greatness'.
And when and 'if' that should be labelled as such!
Giving 'you' a purpose to encourage and spread the word.'
Of course.
I don't want to have it enforced.
I would think you would want my expectations to rise!
To declare something 'great'...
Leaves it to be criticized and opened to be downsized.
'Maybe we should hire you to do our marketing? '
Well...
As you yourself stated,
The 'potential' for greatness is there.
'I now can see,
The point you are making.
The potential for greatness 'IS' there.'
Exactly!
There is no need to overwhelm the message.
