Everyone in a complex system has a slightly different interpretation. The more interpretations we gather, the easier it becomes to gain a sense of the whole.

It is always possible to argue against an interpretation, to confront interpretations, to arbitrate between them and to seek for an agreement, even if this agreement remains beyond our reach.

Trivial Manipulations
Trivial manipulations,
Harvested to manifest quick solutions...
With the same recipe and ingredients involved,
Has ceased to make sense!
At least for those in observation,
Witnessing familiar results being produced...
With shallow interpretations of sincerety.
And the pledge of a society,
To maintain a direction already clouding in darkness.
'Comeon'...
What is not obvious about this by now?
What minds have been shielded from this process?
Consciousness has been reduced,
To worthless visuals to tease sensuous pleasures.
At the cost of an overburdened penal system.
To keep a weakened people imprisoned,
Within their own temptations.
'You want another 'hit' of this? '
Restricted by standards and qualities of life,
That do not exist.
Not in one's 'sight' that is.
And yet indignities are shared...
As if one bag of popcorn is passed amongst a crowd.
Entertained by their own degradation!
And total absence of awareness.
But kept 'high'...
To keep remnants of reality,
Easier to dismiss.

It is clear to all that the animal organism is a highly complex system consisting of an almost infinite series of parts connected both with one another and, as a total complex, with the surrounding world, with which it is in a state of equilibrium.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
See Yourself
Its easier to tell a lie than it is to tell the truth
Its easier to kill a fly than it is to turn it loose
Its easier to criticize somebody else
Than to see yourself
Its easier to give a sigh and be like all the rest
Who stand around and crucify you while you do your best
Its easier to see the books upon the shelf
Than to see yourself
Its easier to hurt someone and make them cry
Than it is to dry their eyes
I got tired of fooling around with other peoples lies
Rather Id find someone thats true
Its easier to say you wont than it is to feel you can
Its easier to drag your feet than it is to be a man
Its easier to look at someone eless wealth
Than to see yourself

What I try to do in the book is to trace the chain of relationships running from elementary particles, fundamental building blocks of matter everywhere in the universe, such as quarks, all the way to complex entities, and in particular complex adaptive system like jaguars.

By irreducibly complex I mean a single system composed of several well-matched, interacting parts that contribute to the basic function, wherein the removal of any one of the parts causes the system to effectively cease functioning.

The search for the symbolic value of phonemes, each taken as a whole, runs the risk of giving rise to ambiguous and trivial interpretations because phonemes are complex entities, bundles of different distinctive features.

The Somme-France 1916, From A 15 Year Olds Perspective
They said welcome to the warzone kid,
Now run along and don't get killed,
War was easier said then done,
With shrapnel flying,
And your best mates dying
War was easier said then done,
We're disadvantaged, The Boche have Hill 60, that very important mound,
I wish i was at home, safe and sound,
War was easier said then done,
The trenches are dirty, cold and wet,
I can't take off my boots, in mud they're set,
War was easier said then done,
You never know if your next breath will be your last,
Use your legs, run and run fast,
War was easier said then done,
I've only been here for about one week,
I'm still alive, so i guess this is a winning streak?
War was easier said then done,
My bayonet is bloody and red,
I'm glad it's him and not me that is dead
War was easier said then done...

Im Going Slightly Mad
Words and music by queen
When the outside temperature rises
And the meaning is oh so clear
One thousand and one yellow daffodils
Begin to dance in front of you - oh dear
Are they trying to tell you something
Youre missing that one final screw
Youre simply not in the pink my dear
To be honest you havent got a clue
Im going slightly mad
Im going slightly mad
It finally happened - happened
It finally happened - ooh oh
It finally happened
Im slightly mad
Oh dear
Im one card short of a full deck
Im not quite the shilling
One wave short of a shipwreck
Im not my usual top billing
Im coming down with a fever
Im really out to sea
This kettle is boiling over
I think Im a banana tree
Oh dear
Im going slightly mad
Im going slightly mad
It finally happened - happened
It finally happened - uh huh
It finally happened
Im slightly mad
Oh dear
Ooh ooh ah ah
Ooh ooh ah ah
Im knitting with only one needle
Unravelling fast its true
Im driving only three wheels these days
But my dear how about you
Im going slightly mad
Im going slightly mad
It finally happened
It finally happened - oh yes
It finally happened
Im slightly mad
Just very slightly mad
And there you have it

The Man Besides You
I fall in love to the man besides you
Could it be easier if it’s not you?
How your eyes looking at him and show that rare smile
My thought’s wandering and secretly drowned
I don’t want to cause pain
Only because our feeling is same
But the one who loses to gain
doesn’t need sympathy game
I fall in love to the man besides you
Could it be easier if I tell no lie?
Thought it is the man besides you
I believe my love is special too
I fall in love to the man besides you
Could it be easier if I don’t care?
How I turn on my head when you hold his arm
My heart’s longing and stuck nowhere
I don’t want to make trouble
My dream is to have a simple man
But the rain suddenly rumbles
Can’t help the love has grown
I fall in love to the man besides you
Could it be easier if I am cruel?
If only it is not the man besides you
You would not cry in the night just like I do

A corporation is organized as a system - it has this department, that department, that department... they don't have any meaning separately; they only can function together. And also the body is a system. Society is a system in some sense. And so on.

It Was Easier To Hurt Him
(jerry ragavoy / bert russell)
I should have told him
That I needed him
When I had the chance
And now hes left me
And its all over
Goodbye romance
I should have told him then
Over and over again
That I love him
But, it was easier to hurt him, ooh
It was easier to hurt him, ooh
It was easier to hurt him
Thats what I thought
Was being so smart
The way I cheated him
And mistreated him
How could I forget?
I was so sure that he
Would always trust in me
Oh, that Id take a bet, no, no, no
Hed never say goodbye
But here all alone am i
He is gone now, ahh, cause
It was easier to hurt him
What could I do?
(it was) easier to hurt him
I should have known better
Thats what I thought
Was being so smart, oh, oh
It was easier to hurt him
I need him so bad
(it was) easier to hurt him
What did I do?
(it was) easier to hurt him
I should have known better
(it was) easier to hurt him
I need him so bad

Interpretations of Life
Many are finding it easier,
To substitute any reality...
For quick trips away,
To escape from their own
Interpretations of life!
A shameless feeding of fantasy...
Has many people demanding more police,
To protect them from a way of life...
They have allowed and wished upon themselves.
They wished to see themselves better 'than'.
So throughout their history,
They took from others...
And declared them enemies.
They stripped them of their resources,
To claim stolen goods as their 'interests'.
They created their own isolation.
And in celebration...
This ignorance was praised.
Insecurity has increasingly...
Diminished them into dependency.
And a decadence lived,
Can not hide the blight or stop those frightened...
From what now all can see,
Is a quality of life purely based upon deceit.
Many are finding it easier,
To substitute any reality...
For quick trips away,
To escape from their own
Interpretations of life!
And they wish to love what they feel is right.
But how can this be done?
When all that has been happening,
Has been condoned,
By an addiction to restrict reality.
And the price paid to keep that hushed...
Is indebted to those,
Who 'allow' them to borrow funds...
To keep thoughts of greatness alive!
And how can a people thrive on the idea of greatness?
Simple.
Standards are lowered.
Mediocrity is praised.
Availability is cheapened.
And those demanding quality...
Are taught to be ignored.
With a disrespect that comes accepted.
Until it breeds an arrogance.
With a depiction of lost independence.
And a conformity controlled,
By anything that is told!

Oracle
The oracle said we would lose, its message was very clear.
'Abandon the bones of your fathers, your lands, businesses,
Round up your children, gather what articles of worth
Might feasibly be carried on your backs and get the heck out;
For the foe', it said, 'will descend like a whirlwind
Drink your blood and impress who's ever left
Into the vilest servitude.'.
Most believed and prepared to flee. Only one wise, old woman
Reluctant to leave her potato garden, shook a wise, gnarled finger
At the crowd and demanded a re-interpretation
(Which, of course, she got)
'Clearly', said the divines, 'on reconsideration
The oracle meant just to foretell the destruction of the foe';
We, ourselves, had nothing much to worry about
If we'd only take heart, think and manage our resources wisely;
Talk to each other with an extra measure of politeness and agree to agree;
Oh, and build a fleet.
Such was the re-interpretation of the divines.
That was ten years ago. Putting our faith entirely in the oracles
message;
As the divines bid we did, and when the foe invaded, won the day.
Truly these oracles have a way of changing that optimism never does.
Odd. Could it be that oracles are mostly a matter of interpretation?
