Instead of seeing depression as a dysfunction, it is a functioning phenomenon. It stops you cold, sets you down, makes you damn miserable.

Depression is when your sad and alone
Depression is when you can't do it anymore
Depression is when all you do is cry non stop and no one cares

Depression can hurt badly
Depression can even kill you
They say it hurts everyone and kills inside
but they don't know how bad and miserable it feels like to be depressed 24/7
If they did understand then they wouldnt try to make us sound like its our fault like we are crazy and need help or try to guilt us into getting better because there is no cure for depression

Sounds like something obscene I thought
some erectile dysfunction device
or an aid for relieving gastric distress
I don't know what I thought then

Sunk & Disorderly
I've got these Winter blues
That crept upon my being
The nights are dark and very cold
So cold I keep on peeing
This seasonal disorder
That sneaked up very quickly
Makes one feel so very low
And even sometimes sickly
These dismal, dark and gloomy nights
Cause a miserable facial expression
They make one want to stay in bed
Gives great feeling of depression
I think I'll now take to my bed
My brains gone all defective
Apparently I'm suffering ‘SAD'
A disorder that's affective!
So now I'm going to hibernate
Lie in a dormant state
Wake me when the Sun comes out
By then I'll be feeling great!
