Break Away
Disaster causes action
Bringing horrendous distractions
Swelling and submerging
Contentment…dispersing and diverging
Fleeing from despair
Seeking help from anywhere
Looking for a way
To emerge…can’t stay

Alas
Alas, I fell for your words
For your tongue, for your verse
How it hurts
How it hurts that I fell for your words
Ambiguous
Easily versed
Mysterious
Can’t get much worse
Don’t ever start with ‘alas’
It’s crass
Alas, its passed
I'm done.
At last.

Me Against The World
We're not gonna be just a part of their game
We're not gonna be just the victims
We're taking our dreams, and they tear them apart
Until everyone's the same
I've got no place to go
I've got nowhere to run
They love to watch me fall
They think they know it all
I'm a nightmare, a disaster
That's what they always said
I'm a lost cause, not a hero
But i'll make it on my own
I've gotta prove them wrong
Me against the world
It's me against the world
We won't let them change how we feel in our hearts
We're not gonna let them control us
We won't let them shove all the thoughts in our heads
And we'll never be like them
I've got no place to go
I've got nowhere to run
They love to watch me fall
They think they know it all
I'm a nightmare, a disaster
That's what they always said
I'm a lost cause, not a hero
But I'll make it on my own
I've gotta prove them wrong
It's me against the world
Me against the world
Now I'm sick of this waiting
So come on and take your shot
You can spit all your insults
But nothing you can say is going to change us
You can sit there and judge me
Say what you want to
But we'll never let you win
I'm a nightmare, a disaster
That's what they always said
I'm a lost cause, not a hero
But I'll make it on my own
Me against the world
I'm a nightmare, a disaster
That's what they always said
I'm a lost cause, not a hero
But I'll make it on my own
I've gotta prove them wrong
They'll never bring us down
We'll never fall in line
I'll make it on my own
Me against the world

Corn Grinders
O little mouse, why dost thou cry
While merry stars laugh in the sky?
Alas! alas! my lord is dead!
Ah, who will ease my bitter pain?
He went to seek a millet-grain
In the rich farmer's granary shed;
They caught him in a baited snare,
And slew my lover unaware:
Alas! alas! my lord is dead.
O little deer, why dost thou moan,
Hid in thy forest-bower alone?
Alas! alas! my lord is dead!
Ah! who will quiet my lament?
At fall of eventide he went
To drink beside the river-head;
A waiting hunter threw his dart,
And struck my lover through the heart.
Alas! alas! my lord is dead.
O little bride, why dost thou weep
With all the happy world asleep?
Alas! alas! my lord is dead!
Ah, who will stay these hungry tears,
Or still the want of famished years,
And crown with love my marriage-bed?
My soul burns with the quenchless fire
That lit my lover's funeral pyre:
Alas! alas! my lord is dead.

Fall Apart
Inside a storage bin
A pad-lock keeps me in
Emotions run low
If you've come for a show
I'm from the world today
Insane as some might say
Got nothing to show
If you've come just to send me away
I wasn't asking for it
And I tried to ignore it
I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
I'm safe 'cause no one sees
What has become of me
Emotions run low
As my sickness just grows
They try to hold me down
When you cannot be found
Got nothing to show
If you've come just to turn off the sound
I wasn't asking for it
And I tried to ignore it
I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
Well I fall asleep tonight
Don't wanna lose the fight
And I wanna get it right
This time it's not for you
Well I fall asleep tonight
Don't wanna lose the fight
And I wanna get it right
This time it's just for me
Every time I hurt myself for you
It's always hit and miss to feel the mood
But the more I do for you
The less I can do for myself
And it's not so bad to be alone
When I know nothing is set in stone
But I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
My handle on you....

Disaster
Sickness and every other disaster,
Let me sleep like a cat and forget about my past;
Because i want to live anew with your love,
And like the sweet songs of the flying birds in the land of peace.
I have something to share with you,
But sickness and every other disaster are around us!
But let it dropp and let it fall on me;
And let it be soft, sweet and wet! !
For there are so many troubles in this world already,
But i need a safe ground to land on with my muse.

You And I
you and i
are the reason
things are
the way they are...
no, we didnt invade
Iraq and Afghanistan,
but we voted for
the clowns that ordained
these actions...
or, even worse,
didnt vote at all.
no, we didnt cause
the big oil spill...
yet by our reckless
consuming lifestyles,
driving our big SUV's
going nowhere...
maybe we did!
no, we didnt cause
the disaster in Haiti,
the hurricane in New Orleans,
the Japanese nuclear disaster...
but what have we done
to help fix these problems?
no, we didnt tell the banks
to foreclose on all these houses...
but we stood by doing nothing
while our government bailed
them out... and their CEO's
drew their bonuses....
no, we didnt tell them
to cut social security
and medicare, to cut
educational aid...
but we sit and watch
while the elite do their thing,
and pay no taxes...
you and i,
standing by, doing nothing,
saying nothing, not getting
involved...
you and i
are the reason
things are
the way they are...

Beautiful Disaster
He drowns in his dreams
An exquisite extreme I know
He's as damned as he seems
And more Heaven than a heart could hold
And if I tried to save him
My whole world could cave in
It just ain't right
But it just ain't right
Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful
Or just a beautiful disaster
He's magic and myth
As strong as what I believe
A tragedy with
More damage than a soul should see
But do I try to change him
So hard not to blame him
Hold me tight
Baby hold me tight
Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful
Or just a beautiful disaster
I'm longing for love and the logical
But he's only happy hysterical
I'm searching for some kind of miracle
Waiting so long
Waiting so long
He's soft to the touch
But frayed at the ends he breaks
He's never enough
And still he's more than I can take
Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful,
He's such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful,
Or just a beautiful disaster
He's so beautiful
Oh he's just so beautiful
He's so beautiful

Reality
Here on earth we see destruction
It has gone to far
We must change for new directions
Use your mind or fall
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
Reality !
Time is short years are counted
Generations lost
See the truth ! We are hunted
We must pay the cost
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
Nature bleeds for our disposal
We must point our view
You cant use your nuclear weapons
You must hear the calls
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
We must gather now for a future instead of hell
We must gather now for a future instead of hell

I see the better course and approve of it; I follow, alas. the worse.
Ballad III
Now in good sooth my joy is vanished clean,
And all my gladness changed to grievous ire :
What profits it, dear flower ! since I have seen
Thy going hence, that I could never tire
When thou wast here
To greet thee every day in every year ?
Delight that was is grown disaster fell :
Alas ! How can I bid thee now farewell !
My love, my choice, my lady and my queen,
For whom my heart is kindled in desire,
What shall I do when love from what hath been
Taketh the gold and leaveth me the mire ?
Nor far nor near
Is comfort found, nor any pleasant cheer.
Gone is thy beauty, that did all excel :
Alas ! How can I bid thee now farewell !
Thine is the deed, O evil tongue and keen !
Forged for my fate upon an anvil dire :
Fortune, that loveth not my hand, I ween,
Nor yet my pen, did in the task conspire.
No help is clear
Save Death, when God shall grant him to appear
Else thou alone could'st win me out of hell.
Alas ! How can I bid thee now farewell !
Ah, simple and dear !
At least behold me and my mourning drear.
Thy loss is torment more than I can tell.
Alas ! How can I bid thee now farewell !

Ay Me, Ay Me, I Sigh the Scythe A-field
Ay me, ay me, I sigh to see the scythe a-field;
Down goeth the grass, soon wrought to wither'd hay:
Ay me, alas! ay me, alas, that beauty needs must yield,
And princes pass, as grass doth fade away.
Ay me, ay me, that life can not have lasting leave,
Nor gold take hold of everlasting joy:
Ay me, alas! ay me, alas, that time hath talents to receive,
And yet no time can make a suer stay.
Ay me, ay me, that wit can not have wished choice,
Nor wish can win that will desires to see:
Ay me, alas! ay me, alas, that mirth can promise no rejoice,
Nor study tell what afterward shall be.
Ay me, ay me, that no sure staff is given to age,
Nor age can give sure wit that youth will take:
Ay me, alas! ay me, alas, that no counsel wise and sage
Will shun the show that all doth mar and make.
Ay me, ay me, come, Time, shear on and shake thy hay,
It is no boot to balk thy bitter blows:
Ay me, alas! ay me, alas, come, Time, take everything away,
For all is thine, be it good or bad, that grows.

Riches And Poverty
Callous as of now, these filaments emerge together,
Breakable on the dozen, finery of the silk is astonishing.
My riches has coherence, defects amid the strengths,
Decorous buildings are like palaces of gold and decisions.
Clumsy falling blocks entangle superbly the roadways,
Childlike men understand the disaster around,
Chunky poverty surrounds us with never-never land,
The land of the doing and saying, the doer is astonished.

Until I Fall Away
I want to tell if I am or am not myself
Its hard to know
How far or if at all could go
Ive waited far too long
For something I forgot was wrong
I dont know all the answers
I think that Ill find
Or have it within the time
But its all that Ill have in mind
Until I fall away
I wont keep you waiting long
Until I fall away
I dont know what to do anymore
Until I fall away
My fear pretend that Ill never be in love again
Its real to me but not like these fools
And not like this scene
I wont find or have it within the time
If its all rusted and fade
In the spot where we fell
Where I thought Id left behind
Its loose now but we could try
Until I fall away
I wont keep you waiting long
Until I fall away
I dont know what to do anymore
Until I fall away...
When theres no good answers
And no new questions
Another personal disaster
Theres nowhere to go but down...
