Happy Children
We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the butterflies
Fly among the flowers.
We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the Stars
Lighting tiny lamps
In the Sky.
We are children
We are happy
Happier in this world
But not so happier
Than the babies
Asleep in their mothers’ lap.

Song
Now we will be happy, happy, happy,
and, lordy, lordy,
happy and happier still,
happy running down the happy hill
like two happy rills and more
hoarding the strands of their song
into a happy orotorio
falling down, down, down, headlong
running to calm cadenzas of pooled skill
run, run, run, run, run
if happiness, mind you, were the moon
I'd grab both its horns and hang on.
Now we shall be happy, happy, happy
and happy, happy, we'll
be happy and happier still
happy running over the happy hill.

Oh Yes, I'm So Happy!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause i get to hear your lies
i'm so happy
surprise!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you tell lies on me
i'm so happy
see?
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you call me names
i'm so happy
i'v fame!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you break your promises
i'm so happy
i'm joyous!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you gave me some attention
i'm so happy
i'm in heaven!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause i get to be used
i'm so happy
i'm amused!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you spare me a few minutes
i'm so happy
i must be nuts!
oh yes, i'm so happy
cause you let me love you
i'm so happy
i'm through with you!
oh yes, if i was so happy
cause of you
i'll be happier
now without you!

To A Woman Who Endured
Happy I am you no longer would be hungry
Happy your sacks today are laden with gifts
Happy the road to home no longer is weary
Happy all that has come to you pleasantly a lift
Happy of the time spent in outpouring prayers
Happy you no longer are weighed down nor bent
Happy times you dutifully waited and today the pay
Happy on your head a glorious crown, no not lent
Happy that in so doing, He did openly to all eyes to see
All people of good-will cling to you, a woman blessed
Happy you asked, He said He would, and did as He said
Now your footsteps, no longer Snowflakes tan: Blessed

Song For Him
I've been lonely but not lonelier than Him
I've been lonely but not lonelier than Him
When I'm lonely still I know
He'll forgive me yes it's so
I've been lonely but not lonelier than Him
I've been sorry not sorryer than Him
I've been sorry not sorryer than Him
When I'm sorry I remember
That he loves me
And I'm better
I've been sorry not sorryer than Him
It doesn't matter if I'm wrong it doesn't matter if I'm right
He's with me at the break of dawn
He's every star that shines at night
I've been happy but not happier than Him
I've been happy but not happier than Him
When I'm happy skies are blue
I forget him still it's true
I've been happy but not happier than Him
But not sorrier than Him
But not lonelier than Him

Happier Than The Morning Sun
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
All my life I was alone,
Didnt think Id find my part,
Now I see theres joy inside your arms.
Every day I searched for the star,
That never was in the sky,
And now I see this star is on earth.
And Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that I would be -thats
What you told me yea
If I gave you a chance to come inside my life.
(I am) and I am happier than the morning sun
And thats the way it will always be -thats the way
It will always be
Ever since the day you came inside of my life.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Dum...
Dum...
Yea
And Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be -baby thats
What you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
-bring you inside my life
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said it would be
-woa thats what you said it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Happier than the morning sun
Thats the way you said it would be
-baby thats what you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
-bring you inside my life yea
Im happier than the stars above
-yea the morning stars above
Thats the way you said that it would be
-thats what you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside of my life.
I believe that everyone should be
Happier than the morning sun

Split-Feelings
I'm sorry that it was you in that crash
I'm sorry that you got hurt
I'm sorry that you're in the hospital
I'm sorry that I can't be there
I'm sorry that I can't help you through this
I'm sorry that I can't talk to you everyday
I'm sorry that it happened like this
I'm sorry for every arguement we got into
I'm sorry for any stress I may of caused you
I'm sorry that I couldnt give you all I wanted to
However
I'm happy that we met
I'm happy we became best friends
I'm happy that we spent a lot of time together
I'm happy for all the good times we shared
I'm happy for everything we've gone through
I'm happy that we use to talk everyday
I'm happy for spending ISS with you
I'm happy for being able to have a class with you
I'm happy that we used to skip classes together
I'm happy for having the chance to know you
To know that your happy will make me even happier.

Man’s service to woman
Woman! I’m happy when you make me happy,
But happier when I make you happy.
I am happy when you kiss me
But happier when I kiss you.
I am fed when I feed on your body
But more fed when I see your body writhe.
Man’s service to woman is his food.

Domestic Shades-11
Wishing My Daughter-
Happy birth days ahead many more dear
This moment happier as you're
Drown just in the stream of a memoir
Feel the blossom in an augural reservoir
Reminisce the touches and kisses and care
To the foetal growth of an immature
From the soul of a venter...
You the mother, you the protector
Pampering the inside foetus much with care
Your child born to cherish a loving mother
And years stretch longer and longer
The chit to grow youthful stronger
May the years row to prosper
You to become a happy grand-mother

Without you
I found I am better off without you
I have a new happiness sorounding me I am no longer blue
I won't let you drag me down
I am so much happier now
I have joy in my step and luaghter in my eyes
I know i am beautiful and i know i can find the right one someday
I don't know where or how but i know i know it will happen either way
I will be loved by a man who loves me for me
I won't have to worry that my heart will bleed
You're gone and everything is better
You might be happy on day too when you stop being bitter
I hope you have a happy life
I hope you pull through and diminish the pain in your eyes
I don't hate you so don't begin to think that
I don't want you back
Maybe if you become happy and trust yourself again
Thats when we can let a relationship begin
Not making any promises though because i might be with another
I have no idea whats in store for my future
I thought we were meant to be but i guess not
Hey sometimes you have to be wrong
Well i moved on and i am happy
I hope you can too even if it has nothing to do with me

The sad story of happiness
Statistics tell. You can be
independent of them, but
you cannot deny them.
Though white Americans are freed
from many of the hassles and indignities
that affect black Americans, yet,
on average, they are only
very slightly happier.
Men have more power and freedom
than women, yet, on average,
they are not any happier.
(Women experience more depression,
but also more intense joy..)
Though the young have so much more
to look forward to, than the elderly,
yet ratings of life satisfaction rise slightly
up to age sixty-five, and for some, beyond..
People in colder areas of the USA
might expect Californians to be
happier. They are wrong.
Surely people who are more attractive
are happier than the unattractive?
Not so..
If you’re adequately housed,
adequately clothed, adequately fed,
then wealth will surely bring you greater happiness?
The rich are only a very little
happier than the middle classes…
So is this the end of
The American Dream – Joe,
José, Leroy, Yusuf, Gianni, Johan, Boris, Ivan, Ravi?
isn’t there a happy ending, over the border,
over the ocean, over the rainbow?
Yes, there is…
happy people grow rich faster..

This Somberness Lifts
It isn't what you think it is.
A somber mood,
To bring with it a flow of tears.
This isn't for you,
That this is done.
This is for me...
To heal 'my' grieving.
Not for you to say...
'Let go of it,
And it will go away! '
It isn't what you think it is.
A somber mood,
To bring with it a flow of tears.
This is what I need and wish!
To feel every part of it.
Until for me...
It no longer exists.
I can not pretend it does not sit.
When only within me...
It will leave.
As I permit!
Knowing when it does...
I will be happier to set it free!
Happy when it goes away.
Happy when this somberness,
Lifts and drifts on that coming day!

Stages Of Discovery
soon the walls are no longer working,
the stairs are not worth the climb,
the skin no longer holds this flesh,
at first, you are naked and beautiful,
then you become those ugly bones,
and then you are gone
the place is without any mist
there is no air, and then
what irony is this, we are both complete
and happier, in this newly found
emptiness.

Oh Dad
OH DAD POEM WRITTEN ON THE TWENTY- SECOND YAHRTZEIT OF MY FATHER 11 Sivan 5769
Oh Dad we are all together again
Ma is here and Jakie and Joycie
And Bubbe and Zayde Freedman
And Bubbe and Zayde Zeibert
And Abie and Nate and Loukee and Lakie
And Uncle Jack and Reddy and Davy and Molly and Larry
We are all together again
And we are sitting in the yard on First Street
Or maybe in the garden in the back on Centerview Drive
We are all alive
And most of us are restless
And a few deeply depressed
And the old people ache and are mostly silent
And the children are few
And one of them wants to hide
And get away from it all.
And with all of us alive
It’s no longer necessary to regret or grieve
Over anyone’s absence
Or mourn that you or Ma or Jakie is no longer here.
We are all as we were then
We are alive
And no one is ever going to die
And somehow in some magical way
I cannot understand
But God who made all certainly can
You- all these people I love so much
Are having in your lives whatever kindness or goodness or love or achievement or blessing,
You didn’t have then
Which will make you happy now.
We are all there
All of us
Alive
Back again
And no one has died and no one will ever die
And we are happier than we ever were then
And all of you will be happy forever.
Isn’t it wonderful Dad
Not a single one of has a single regret
It’s just so much better than it ever was
And you Dad are happy and have for once in your life
A peace of mind
You need not so desperately cry or pray for.
Dad oh Dad Ma oh Ma Jakie oh Jakie.

And Laughter Fills The Air
And the people played
Catagory, old, no longer...
No longer workers, no longer...
No longer ones with potential
No longer...
Badmington in the park
Peace Park, Shanghai
And laughter fills the air
And a little boy writes
And a little boy plays
The people are happy
Why, oh why do people hide
Why, oh why do people cry
It is the time, happiness
Happiness among the trees
And the trees are happy
And laughter fills the air
And laughter fills the air.

Old Child
Child. Old child,
No longer wild;
No longer speaking,
No longer beguiled;
I have become
A quiet old child.
Child. Old child,
No longer cold;
Never an old man,
Always too old;
I have become
An old child tenfold.
Child. Old child,
Forever a child;
Always rethinking,
Always exiled.
I should become
A happy old child.
Child. Old child.
Always soft-spoken;
No longer breaking,
Still being broken;
I have become
An old child, unspoken.
Child. Old child,
No longer bold;
By thinking, rethinking
Of stories untold,
All through my childhood,
I've become... old.
