Authority Song
They like to get you in a compromising position
They like to get you there and smille in your face
They think, theyre so cute when they got you in that condition
Well I think, its a total disgrace
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
So I call up my preacher
I say: gimme strenght for round 5
He said: you dont need no strength, you need to grow up, son
I said: growing up leads to growing old and then to dying,
And dying to me dont sound like all that much fun
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
Oh no
Oh no
I fight authority, authority always wins
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins

Law Of War
The law of war is to strike a man’s innards
Until he burgeons into another man.
His trick will fool you, and reduce you,
For smooth feelings are not to be retained by you.
The wars construct a measure to win,
The general wins his military campaign
Depending on the thinkers and soldiers
And their innards.
God has made their bodies to construct guns
And strike at the hearts and livers of the enemy
So dangerous.

Love Wins Over Everything
She loves with heart and soul
His love sets her heart on fire
A love that is rare but so true
How he fills her every desire
Love Wins Over Everything
He thinks of her and smiles
He wants to hold her very tight
She is his life and much more
The love he gives is for life
Love Wins Over Everything
Together they lay side by side
The words of love flows on
How much love they share
True love is always so strong
Love Wins Over Everything

Subterfuge
Holy Father drink the firewater
Preaching peace as you go to war
Politicians making brave decisions
Always got self interest at heart
We are to you just a drop in the ocean
Maybe that's true but it's only a notion
You integrate with friendly intrusion
We won't get fooled we have come to conclusion
chorus
Subterfuge deludes the views of you and me
We're confused but still we choose to disagree
Subterfuge consumes us but defiantly
We refuse to bow down to conformity
Evil mothers hiding under covers
Always near but just out of sight
Hey big brother - watch as we recover
'Cause we'll never give up the fight
And we say no!
Give us a name and you give us the power
Watch as we gather our strength by the hour
You think we're blind and weak in decision
But we see it all from peripheral vision
chorus
Somebody wins, somebody lose
Some call it subterfuge
Somebody wins, somebody lose
They fall to subterfuge
chorus
Somebody wins, somebody lose
Some call it subterfuge
Somebody wins, somebody lose
They fall to subterfuge

Villanelle of Ye Young Poet's First Villanelle to his Ladye and Ye Difficulties Thereof
To sing the charms of Rosabelle,
To pour my soul out at her feet,
I try to write this villanelle.
Now I am caught within her spell,
It seems to me most wondrous sweet
To sing the charms of Rosabelle.
I seek in vain for words to tell
My love -- Alas, my muse is weak!
I try to write this villanelle.
Would I had power to compel
The English language incomplete
To sing the charms of Rosabelle.
The ardent thoughts that in me dwell
On paper I would fair repeat
I try to write this villanelle.
My effort fruitless is. O H--l!
I'll tell her all when next we meet.
To sing the charms of Rosabelle,
I tried to write this villanelle.

Anna, Thy Charms
Anna, thy charms my bosom fire,
And waste my soul with care;
But ah! how bootless to admire,
When fated to despair!
Yet in thy presence, lovely Fair,
To hope may be forgiven;
For sure 'twere impious to despair
So much in sight of heaven.

Phantom Of The Night
Who are you, Phantom of the night?
Creeping into my soul, just out of sight,
Of pain and light, and waking to heavy hold of life,
So clean and bright, a love so right,
Divine, I feel complete within the circle of your arms,
Away from worldly charms,
Those shallow empty feelings doing harm,
I feel only that love which is real, unconditional,
And the place I want to be forever,
I wish to leave you never,
It is not to be however, for I awake,
And you are whisked out of sight,
Beyond daylight but not of mind,
Where are you love? Be here with me,
On earth, and in eternity,
Who are you Phantom of the night?

A Farewel To Worldly Joys
FArewel ye Unsubstantial Joyes,
Ye Gilded Nothings, Gaudy Toyes,
Too long ye have my Soul misled,
Too long with Aiery Diet fed:
But now my Heart ye shall no more
Deceive, as you have heretofore:
For when I hear such Sirens sing,
Like Ithaca's fore-warned King,
With prudent Resolution I
Will so my Will and Fancy tye,
That stronger to the Mast not he,
Than I to Reason bound will be:
And though your Witchcrafts strike my Ear,
Unhurt, like him, your Charms I'll hear.

War Of Man
The little creatures run in from the cold
Back to the nest just like the days of old
There in the safety of a mothers arms
The warmth of ages, far away from harm again.
Ears ringin from the battle fire
The tired warrior aims a little higher
The black falcon or the little sparrow
The healing light or the flash of the barrel.
No one wins
Its a war of man,
No one wins
Its a war of man.
Silver mane flyin in the wind
Down through the planets on the run again
No one knows where theyre runnin to
But every kind is comin two by two.
Out on the delta where the hoofbeats pound
The daddys runnin on the frozen ground
Cant smell the poison as it follows him
Cant see the gas and machines, its a war of man.
No one wins
Its a war of man,
No one wins
Its a war of man.
The windows open and the little girl dreams
The skys her playground as she mounts her steed
Across the heavens to the other side
On wings of magic does the little girl ride.
The baby creatures run in from the cold
Back to the nest just like the days of old
There in the safety of a mothers arms
The warmth of ages, far away from harm again.
No one wins
Its a war of man,
No one wins
Its a war of man,
No one wins.

Name of God
He who utters the Name of God while walking
gets the merit of a sacrifice at every step
His body becomes a place of pilgrimage.
He who repeats God’s Name while working
always finds perfect peace.
He who utters the Name of God while eating
gets the merit of a fast
even though he has taken his meals.
Even if one were to give in charity
the whole world encircled by the seas
it would not equal the merit of repeating the Name,
By the power of the Name
one will know what cannot be known,
One will see what cannot be seen,
One will speak what cannot be spoken,
One will meet what cannot be met.
Tuka says.
Incalculable is the gain that comes
From repeating the Name of God.

Nobody Wins
Any more it doesnt matter
Whos right or wrong
Weve been injuring each other
For much too long
And its too late to try to save
What might have been
Its over
Nobody wins
Make believin in forever
Is just a lie
And it seems a little sadder
Each time we try
cause its a shame to make
The same mistakes again
And again
Its over.
Nobody wins
Weve gone too far too long
Too far apart
The lovin was easy
Its the livin thats hard
And theres no need to stay and see
The way it ends
Its over.
Nobody wins

The Love Sonnets Of Proteus. Part II: To Juliet: XXIX
TO HER WHO WOULD COMFORT HIM
I did not ask your pity, dear. Your zeal
I know. It cannot cure me of my woes.
And you, in your sweet happiness, who knows,
Deserve it rather I should pity feel
For what the coming years from you conceal.
I did but cry, thou dear Samaritan,
Out of my bitterness of soul. Each man
Has his own sorrow treading on his heel,
Ready to strike him, and must keep his shield
To his own back. Fate's arrows thickly fly,
And, if they strike not now, will strike at even.
And so I ask no pity. On life's field
The wounded crawl together, but their cry
Is not to one another but to Heaven.

Yours is the basic
The kite flies.
Its lightness is its merit.
The tree breaks.
Its stubbornness is its merit.
You are the basic cause
For the effects you produce.
