My first real breakthrough collided with the last months of Callaghan's Labour government, which had every intention of enjoying my success as much as I did.

Life – A Melodrama Of Labour
The melodrama of labour,
The menace of failure
The determination to achieve,
To make one believe
That success can be near,
Turns down the failure-fear
And a step you advance, success seems to cling
Give more thrust and advance, And you find yourself in success ring.
Success succumbs to the brave,
Cowards fear success break
Paradoxically the want is universal
Made by planned series of rehearsals.
How many can cut the joy of enjoying?
Or learn enjoying in the work?
How many can realize the joy is work?
And learn working without end?
Complacence succumbs to success,
But significant is its degree
So calls for success after success,
Ongoing till breath can be!
Falls to be without distress,
And success to be without rest
Just as Nature weaves the flowers,
Without heed to the whither-showers.
Success is all pervasive,
Success: light or massive
Success is sugar of life,
The sprout of Success is bright.
No onset, No end,
Success has in its blend
Image of one’s deity
And gratefulness for complacence.
This is the tale of life,
This is the consent of joy & spice
From a success in having breaths
To an all successful life!

Words and music by queen
When love breaks up
When the dawn light wakes up
A new life is born
Somehow I have to make this final breakthrough
Now
I wake up
Feel just fine
Your face
Fills my mind
I get religion quick
cos youre looking divine
Honey youre touching something youre touching me
Im under your thumb under your spell cant you see
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough - oh yeah
Breakthrough these barriers of pain
Breakthrough to the sunshine from the rain
Make my feelings known towards you
Turn my heart inside and out for you now
Somehow I have to make this final breakthrough
Now!
Your smile speaks books to me
I break up
With each and every one of your looks at me
Honey youre starting something deep inside of me
Honey youre sparking something this fire in me
Im outta control
I wanna rush headlong into this ecstacy
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
Oh yeah
Breakthrough breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough
If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthrough

Breakthrough
I got one two three four
Five, six, six, six
Running round the neighborhood
Perjorative, jinx. he said the grooms
Down on me cuz he ate the rice
It was well intentioned but bad advice
Hell yeah, yeah, yeah
Let it breakthrough, oh let breakthrough [x4]
Open the curtain and let in some sky
Its almost half past two, and you can tell by the light
Open your window, and let in the atmosphere!
Let it breakthrough, oh let breakthrough [x4]
Open the curtain and let in some sky
Its almost half past two, and you can tell by the light
Open your window, and let in the atmosphere!
Let it breakthrough, oh let breakthrough [x4]

But how odd that in this heathen nation of empty pews, where churches' bare, ruined choirs are converted into luxury loft living, a Labour government - yes, a Labour government - is deliberately creating a huge expansion of faith schools.

Callaghan's Hotel
There's the same old coaching stable that was used by Cobb and Co.,
And the yard the coaches stood in more than sixty years ago;
And the public-private parlour, where they serve the passing swell,
Was the shoeing forge and smithy up at Callaghan’s Hotel.
There’s the same old walls and woodwork that our fathers built to last,
And the same old doors and wainscot and the windows of the past;
And the same old nooks and corners where the Jim-Jams used to dwell;
But the Fantods dance no longer up at Callaghan’s Hotel.
There are memories of old days that were red instead of blue;
In the time of “Dick the Devil” and of other devils too;
But perhaps they went to Heaven and are angels, doing well—
They were always open-hearted up at Callaghan’s Hotel.
Then the new chum, broken-hearted, and with boots all broken too,
Got another pair of bluchers, and a quid to see him through;
And the old chum got a bottle, who was down and suffering Hell;—
And no tucker-bag went empty out of Callaghan’s Hotel.
And I sit and think in sorrow of the nights that I have seen,
When we fought with chairs and bottles for the orange and the green;
For the peace of poor old Ireland, till they rang the breakfast bell—
And the honour of Old England, up at Callaghan’s Hotel.

The rule of law should be upheld by all political parties. They should neither advise others to break the law, nor encourage others to do so even when they strongly disagree with the legislation put forward by the government of the day.

Waiting For Success
This day I perfect the whole hour of reasoning,
Inside this whole month my sentences are concise.
Philosophy is sweet, just and not ruinous,
With polite speech you talk over matters real.
Scholars are of the opinion,
Understanding is the key to manhood’s success,
May the months survive and the weeks endure,
May the philosopher too holy prevail to enlighten me further,
Justice is the key to overall success.

We have an extreme rightwing government in this country, although it's called the Labour government.

New Labour was the most short-sighted, self-serving, incompetent, useless, and ineffective government that Britain has ever known. Make no mistake, Labour's economic policies were a national security liability.
I was a Labour Party man but I found myself to the left of the Labour party in Nelson, militant as that was. I came to London and in a few months I was a Trotskyist.

The labour of the farmers, no doubt is of greater value than the financial capacity of the government and non-government institutions which can only play a supportive role.

And some of what we're doing in Government even now, some of the welfare reform programs that are helping lone mothers come into work are based on things that were very new under the Labour Government in the eighties.

What Defines Success
What is the journey to success?
Success is not gained by defeat
Success does not occur over night
Success can emerge at any age
Success is working to full potential
Success is courage
Success is lending a hand
Success is not listening to negativity
Success is being positive
Success is living your life instead of the life of others
Success is being proud
Success is overcoming obstacles
Success is striving
Success is listening to your heart
Most of all success is accepting
What you have accomplished

When I think success
I see it comes
When i dream success
I see it comes
When i touch success
It fates away
Success success
My hope
I'll find success
Embrace success
When i hold success
I'll keep it save
When I have success
I'll share it

Another Breakthrough
Another level, another harvest
Another day for You to manifest Your promises
Another moment, another season for a
Breakthrough, breakthrough
A greater level, a greater harvest
A greater day for You to manifest Your promises
A greater moment, a greater season for a
Breakthrough, breakthrough
This is the level, this is a harvest
This is the day that You will manifest Your promises
This is the moment, this is the season for a
Breakthrough, breakthrough
Breakthrough, breakthrough
Breakthrough, breakthrough
